Glammie: Ok guys, I am officially over the education system.
Arusa: Already?
Glammie: Dude, I have two AP classes and Spanish 4 and Statistics. Does that sound like my cup of tea?
Black*Star: If you were not so smart, they would have let you off with easy classes.
Glammie: I cannot help that I test well.
Arusa: So smart, but is the distraction of the class.
Glammie: What, I love being the class clown.
Soul: So uncool.
Glammie: Oh shuddup Soul, better yet, do the disclaimer.
Soul: Glammiegirl328 does not own Soul Eater, however, her teacher did buy her a pet fish.
Glammie: His name is Bill Squiggles II.
Final Battle: Reborn Part 2
Spirit looked to his left and then frowned. Stein was sitting there smoking a cigarette with his eyes closed. Spirit sighed and moped. How does he always get stuck with this psycho? Oh yeah, karma.
Stein: Spirit, what is troubling you spirit?
Spirit: Well, for starters, you are taking a break like we do not have a job to do.
Stein: I just feel that a smoke helps me think. (Taking a long drag)
Spirit: Two, I am forever stuck with you.
Stein: Oh, yeah, well I feel that we could use some best bud time.
Spirit: When did I become your best bud?
Stein: After that time you passed out drunk at my house when you and Kami were arguing.
Spirit: Yeah...
Stein: I decided that I should look at the damage you did to your liver, so I dissected you. (Taking on final drag and the putting the cigarette out) Afterwards I noticed that I cared if you were killing yourself. So I decided that you were my best friend.
Spirit: Gee, I do not know to feel touched or highly disturbed. Ya know most people decide to be best friends without cutting them open.
Stein: When have I ever been known to be like most people?
Spirit:(Shrugging) Point.
With that, the two males walked across campus to the auditorium where the students were meeting. Upon entering, both males looked around at the students in attendance. There was Crona, who was being abused by the small fists of Ragnarock. Kim with her weapon Jacqueline, Ox with his weapon Havar, and Kilik with the twins. They also decided that students wouldn't be enough so they asked Mifune, Sid and Nygus, and Justin to join them.
Walking to the front of the room with authority, Spirit turned to look at the group.
Spirit: Now, we all know we all know why we are here. (Pausing to glance around the room) There is a new kishin threat that has risen. Not only that, but it has also taken one of our very own meisters.
Stein: Meister and weapon, Maka Albarn, was apprehended from the campus about 1 week and 4 days ago. We have set up two teams, A and B, to help retrieve her and stop the kishin.
The room was silent and focused, hanging off every word uttered.
Spirit: As team B, we are back up to the three meisters and their weapons that have already left to find where the kishin is hiding. After they find it, we will set off and fight whatever minions that are there.
Crona rose his hand slowly.
Spirit: Yes?
Crona: What do you know about the kishin?
Stein: Well, the information we could gather was that she is a girl, age 17, immortal, and powerful. Also, her name is Kokona Takahashi.
Two pairs of eyes widened at the description. Both Crona and Kim looked terrified and shocked.
Stein: Is there something you two know?
Kim:(Speaking up) Well, when I was still working with the witches I heard of a project called, Operation K. Apparently the witches had a back up plan incase Asura was not able to be revived.
Crona: She was supposed to be a ruthless kishin created by the witches. My mother told me that she was created if her mission failed. (Adding)
Stein cranked his screw as he heard that.
Spirit: Well, then we should talk strategy.
(Some Forest in California)
Soul: This much running is so uncool.
Kid: We told you that you could stay in your weapon form.
Soul: And be carried like some damsel in distress? I think not.
Liz: Do, I look like a damsel? (Speaking from Kid's right) I just didn't feel like walking.
Soul: I didn't mean you. I just meant that being held is girly.
Arusa: Trust me Soul, I would have held you in a way that made feel like the epitome of masculinity .
With that Soul stopped running to just stare at the teenager.
Black*Star:(Watching Soul run to catch up) I do not know why you are complaining so much. But then again, not everyone is as strong as me, Black*Star, the man who will surpass god.
Arusa:(Rolling his eyes) You know Maka beat you to the punch when she defeated me?
Silence.
Black*Star: Then I will have to defeat god and Maka, seems simple enough. (Running faster with the fuel of that thought).
Tsubaki: Black*Star, (Yelling from weapon form) slow down!
Black*Star: No time, Tsubaki. This is important. (Picking up speed)
Arusa:(Shaking his head) Does this guy ever give up?
Kid: Nope, he is what you call, simple minded.
The boys continued with their pace with the girls in weapon form. They had found a trail yesterday that would lead to Maka. That is why they were currently running through the forest. Every few 60 miles or so, the boys would stop to use Soul Perception and the mental link Arusa set up with Maka to get them closer.
Today, they were alternating between running and walking. They were about 10 miles off from their 60. After they finished, the decided to set up camp and rest.
Arusa: Hey you guys, while you set up, I'm going to see if I can catch up with Maka.
Soul: Sure, tell her that we miss her.
Arusa:(Walking into the tent) Will do.
Arusa walked over towards his sleeping bag and sat. He used all of his concentration to connect to Maka. When he finally found her signature soul wavelength, his body fell into a deep slumber.
When he opened his eyes, he noticed that today they were sitting in a library. This was the library at the DWMA where they first had a genuine conversation about a Shakespeare book. How fitting that her subconscious would lead her here. However, her choice of venue did play at his heart strings. It reminded Arusa of the whole break up situation. He felt that subconsciously Maka still wanted to be with him, but he knew her conscious self would not allow weakness for the male. Maka had a fear of being in love and stupid because of it.
Arusa turned to his left when he heard shuffling. He walked around the corner of the bookshelf to see Maka. She was standing on her toes, trying to reach a book. Smirking, Arusa walked behind her.
Arusa: Here you are shrimp. (Grabbing the book and handing it to her)
Pouting, Maka took the book.
Maka: Well, not everyone can be tall, ya know.
Arusa:(Nodding) Or maybe you guys just are not trying hard enough.
Maka:(Arching an eyebrow) So what do you want me to do? Think tall thoughts?
Arusa: That seems like a start.
Maka:(Giggling) I hope for my sake, that the baby will be short because I cannot have you two towering over me.
Arusa: Speaking of the baby how is he? (Crouching down towards her tummy and rubbing it)
Maka: She is fine. Although, we have not been getting much fresh air.
Arusa: The guys and I are trying to get there as soon as possible. Oh yeah, they said they miss you and all your violent tendencies.
They both sat at one of the tables.
Maka: Aww, how sweet. Remind me to chop them all when I see them.
Arusa: They would love that. So, what has been going on in that hell hole?
Maka: Ummm... (Looking away from him)
Arusa: What happened?! Did she hurt you? (Looking over every inch of her body)
Maka: No, well, not yet at least.
Arusa: Yet? (Grinding his teeth)
Maka: She plans on trying to do something to baby.
Arusa: I will kill her! (Shooting up from his seat)
Maka:(Standing and gripping his arms) Calm down, she did not try anything yet. If you guys can hurry, she might not be able to.
Arusa: We will be there soon. In the mean time, I want to scope out what you can. You are my eyes and ears for the moment.
Maka:(Soldier saluting) Sir, yes sir.
With that Arusa cracked a little smile before pulling the small girl into a hug.
Arusa: I miss you so much.
Maka: I miss you, too. I want to be home and our baby safe.
Arusa hugged her tighter until Maka realized that this was not becoming friendly any more. He was putting his feelings into holding her, and as much as she loved his company, she could not forget the betrayal she still felt. With everything that was going on, she did not think she could deal with extra emotions.
So, she pushed him away as softly as possible. When she looked up at him, she could see the hurt in her eyes.
Arusa: Maka-
Maka:(Cutting him off) No, we will talk about this later, but right now I cannot deal with the this.
Arusa nodded and kissed her on the forehead.
Arusa: I have to go, but I will be back tomorrow.
Maka:(Smiling) I will be waiting.
With that Arusa snapped out of her head and back to his own body.
After he got his self together, he walked out the tent to where the boys were setting a fire and the girls were making food preparations.
Soul:(Turning towards him) How is she?
Arusa:(Sitting in some grass) She is ok. But I am worried about what might happen.
Kid: The calm before the storm?
Arusa: Koko is planning on killing Maka.
Liz: We kinda figured that much.
Arusa: But did you think that she would move the baby out of Maka?
Soul: Move it where?
Arusa: Koko wants to be pregnant with my child.
The group looked sick. They could not imagine that someone could be so twisted that they would go that far.
Tsubaki: Arusa, what kind of relationship did you and Kokona have?
Arusa: Well, it was normal until...
(Flashback~ Small Village in Colorado)
Kokona: As Kas, slow down! (Running faster to keep up with the young boy)
Asura: What...and let you win?
Kokona: It is polite for a gentleman to on let a lady win at times.
Asura: Where is that rule at?
Kokona: It is not in a book. It is just something that all guys should know.
Asura: Well technically, you are a girl not a lady.
Kokona: How rude! (Stopping to pout)
Asura kept running until he did not hear footsteps anymore. He turned around to see Koko standing near a tree pouting. She kept wiping her eyes like she was crying.
Asura: (Running back to the girl) Hey, I am sorry. Please don't cry.
Kokona: Why should I? You are being a jerk.
Asura: I didn't mean to. (Pulling her into a hug)
Kokona: Let go of me. (Pulling away from him)
Asura: How can I make this up to you?
Koko stood there and thought for a second.
Kokona: Oh, I know. Remember how Faith and Yuki got married last month?
Asura: Yeah, what about it?
Kokona: I was just thinking that one day when we grew up, that we could get married and live in a big house and have a baby.
Asura:(Looking confused) What made you think about this all of a sudden?
Kokona: Well, they were best friends before they got married, so maybe it can happen to us.
Asura: Sure, whatever.
Kokona smiled really wide and jumped into a hug.
Kokona: Oh thank you, thank you. I'll be the best wife ever.
That was the last good memory of the village because the next day, the village was destroyed.
(End of Flashback)
Soul: Wow, that would be adorable if both of you didn't end ip being psychos.
Arusa rolled his eyes.
Arusa: So yeah that's kinda how it happened.
Kid: Wait that gives me an idea.
(Back At The DWMA)
Spirit: So, is everyone clear on what we are doing?
The group nodded.
Spirit: Would anyone care to recap?
Ox raised his hand and Spirit nodded for him to go ahead.
Ox: You said that the set up was Professor Stein and yourself with Justin going first. Then, it would be Crona, Mifune, and Sid with Ms. Nygus. At the end would be myself, Harvar, Kim, and Jacqueline.
Spirit: Correct. Now no one should move from where they are assigned. You are placed there for a reason and for your safety. I can't have anyone playing hero and getting injured.
The group once again nodded in understanding.
Spirit: Very well, now the meeting is over. Grab a small bag of possessions and be ready go leave at anytime tomorrow. Lord Death said that the students were closing in on the kishin's position.
With that, the studenrs and staff left the room to get ready for the large battle that they would most likely face tomorrow.
(Back to The Forest)
Arusa: You want me to what?
Kid: We want you just to fake intrest with the kishin until we can safely get Maka.
Arusa: And how do you expect that I do that? (Looking around)
Pattie:(Shrugging) Dunno.
Soul: That's for you to figure out.
Arusa: I know Koko, and the only way to distract her is to not be faithful to Maka and I can't cheat on the girl I love.
Soul: Trust me, I'm sure we can make Maka understand that it was for her.
Black*Star: Besides, it's not like we are asking you to sleep with her. Just try to convince her of your affection long enough for us to save Maka. Then we can kill this kishin and move on with our lives.
They sat in the forest watching the sky darken.
Arusa: Well, I think we should go to bed early tonight because we have a lot of things to do in the morning.
After that, the boys put out the fire and the team began to go to the tents. Soul and Black*Star shared one, the girls shared one, and Kid and Arusa had one. Each teen felt a little more hope. Tomorrow, they were sure to find Maka. Her soul wavelength signature was so much stronger than it was days ago.
When Kid got to his and Arusa's tent, he decided to call his father. Walking to his backpack, he pulled out a mirror and walked back to his sleeping bag. He dialed his father's number into the mirror and watched as it rang.
Lord Death: Hey, Kiddo, how's my adorable little shinigami.
Kid:(Blushing as he heard Arusa snicker) Dad quit it. You're embarrassing me.
Lord Death: Oh, is my little Kiddo trying to be tough in front of his older brother?
At this point Arusa was in hysterics. He could not understand how two of the most serious people came from this weirdo of a man.
Lord Death: Hi, Arusa. I take it that you two have news for me.
Kid: Yeah, we seem to be getting closer to where she is held. By tomorrow we should be at the hideout. So, you can bring in backup. Arusa will give you the coordinates tomorrow.
Lord Death: Great, I'll get right on it. Now you guys should rest. Night kiddies.
With that the mirror went dark.
Arusa:(Turning to Kid) You're dad is weird.
Kid:(Mumbling) He's your dad too.
Arusa:(Smirking) Not when he acts like that. My dad was the badass that scared small children and made people live in bags of their own skin.
Kid just shook his head and smiled a little. He had a strange family, and he just learned to accept it.
Soon the tent was a silent as both boys fell asleep.
(The Next Morning)
As the morning light hit Kid, he stirred awake. Only the sound of his teen brother getting up and stretching next to him, woke the young Shinigami up.
Arusa: Kid (Throwing a pillow in the direction of his brother who was still lying down) C'mon go wake up your friends. We have a girl to save today.
Kid threw the pillow back and slowly rose. Stretching his body and groaning a bit, he walked out of his tent to the adjacent tent.
Soon, after his brother left, Arusa started to pack away their gear. He smiled to himself when he heard Soul and Black*Star cursing Kid's existence. He was about finished when Kid walked back in.
Kid: I don't know why I put myself through the stress of waking them up.
Arusa: Maybe it's because you're such a great friend.
Kid: Maybe...
(Fast forward)
It seemed like they were running forever. The boys were hot on Maka's trail and backup was not far behind. Everyone was so excited to see their friend once again and hopefully this plan worked.
As Maka's soul wavelength grew stronger, the party slowed down. They had to do this part correctly or the whole operation would be down the drain.
The plan was Arusa to give himself up to Kokona and "distract" her while the rest of the group safely retrieved Maka. It was crucial that Kokona believe that Arusa wanted her because otherwise they would have to resort to fighting, and that never ended well.
As they neared the strangely placed yet ornate mansion in the middle of the woods, the group soon began to feel their madness levels rise. It wasn't as horrible as it was when Arusa was first revived, but it was a buzzing in the back of their mind that reminded them.
Arusa: Okay, (Looking at the group) I am going. Don't forget that the signal is an open window in the front of the house.
They nodded.
Arusa: Good, now be careful, entering. However, if everything goes well, we should have her by then end of the day.
With that, Arusa walked into the clearing, put his hands in the air and made his way to the house.
Arusa: Koko? (Waiting for a sound) Koko, I need to talk to you.
They rest of the group watched as two witches handcuffed Arusa and took him in the house. After that, sat and waited for their cue.
Black*Star: I hope he can pull it off.
(Inside the House)
Arusa was put in what looked to be a den as he waited for Kokona to show up. He knew that she had been waiting for him, they had been friends for so long that things they did were predictable.
After, what seemed like, hours of silence, the new kishin enter the room and sat in a chair across from Arusa. She had a set frown on her face and her arms crossed.
Arusa: Well, someone looks happy to see me,
Kokona: What are you doing here!? Was it for you little pregnant whore of a girlfriend?
Arusa had to resist the urge to tell her off and threaten her existence.
Arusa:(To himself) This is for Maka. This is for Maka. (To Kokona) Actually, I came to see you.
Kokona: What do you want?
Arusa: Ah, ah, ah. I'll tell you after you take the handcuffs off my wrists.
Kokona: And why the hell would I do that?
Arusa: Well, I am your guest, and a lady must always make her guests feel comfortable.
Kokona: Trying to use my lady etiquette card against me. (Smirking) That would work if I still believed in that stuff.
Arusa: It was worth a shot. (Shrugging)
Kokona: So, I guess you want to see your hooker.
Arusa: Actually I came for you.
Kokona: Me you say? (Arching an eyebrow)
Arusa: Yeah, I've been having some thoughts these day and I think that you are right. I should make good on my promise.
Kokona: So what brought this on?
Arusa: I'm not ready to be a father. (Trying to keep a straight face)
Kokona: Huh. Really? Then you won't mind kissing me.
Arusa: (Gulping to himself) Not at all. (Putting on a brave face)
Kokona leaned in with her eyes closed.
Arusa: Actually, I kinda have to use the bathroom. Am I allowed to go.
Kokona: Anything for you. (Talking into an intercom) I need a guard.
They sat there for a moment. Then a burly looking weapon came in and untied Arusa from his chair. He took the handcuffs off to move Arusa's hands to the front, and the he closed them back.
Arusa: Really?
Kokona: Really. Now go before I have half a mind to kill your "girlfriend".
Arusa walked to the bathroom. After gazing out the window, he noticed he was near the clearing that he walked through to enter the house. Looking around and trying to be as quiet as he could, so he did not disturb the guard outside the door, he opened the window. Hopefully the idiots caught that.
(Outside)
The group was outside waiting for the signal. Everyone was finding some way to distract themselves.
Soul: Hey did you guys catch that?
Black*Star: Yeah...Kid you did have a two.
Soul: Not our game of Go Fish... (Shaking his head) I think Arusa is signaling us.
Kid: Then what are we waiting for? (Packing up the game)
(Back in the House)
After a couple more minutes, Arusa left the bathroom.
Arusa:(Looking at the guard) Dude you might not want to go in there for a while. It needs to air out.
The guard looked at him with a disgusted face. With no more words said, they began back down the hall. Arusa walked back nervously to the room. He wasn't comfortable with what he was about to do, nor proud of it. If this wasn't for Maka, then he would've not done it.
He mentally prepared himself for what he was about to do when he reached the door. Once he gathered up his courage he walked into the room.
Arusa looked around to see Kokona sitting there with...
Maka!
Arusa was shocked to see his pregnant ex sitting in the room. He expected her to get rescued.
Kokona: As Kas, I thought of a great idea.
Arusa: What? (Growing suspicious)
Kokona: Well, since you obviously don't have feelings for this girl anymore, I thought it would be a good idea to kiss in front of her to make it official.
Arusa frowned at that.
Arusa: And if I refuse?
Kokona: Well, I was hoping it didn't resort to this. (Typing some buttons that caused a screen to pop up) But you gave me no choice.
On the monitor, standing in an empty room, was Kid, Liz, Tsubaki, Soul, Pattie and Black*Star. Arusa guessed that the room was locked and, they didn't know Maka was five feet from him. But then again, no one expected Maka to change rooms.
Arusa: What are you going to do?
Kokona: Oh nothing much. But do you see that vent on the corner. (Pointing to it)
Arusa nodded.
Kokona: Well, if you do anything stupid, the I will leak leathal gas through the vent to the room.
Arusa looked at the monitor in horror. On one hand, he couldn't cheat Maka, especially right in front of her. On the hand, he couldn't abandon his friends.
Arusa: Ok.
Kokona:(Shocked) Ok?
Arusa: I'll kiss you.
In his the corner of his eye, Arusa could see Maka struggling with her emotions. She wanted to be angry at him, but she didn't want to show it.
Arusa:(Looking at Maka) Remember, you broke up with me.
Kokona gave Maka a smug smile. As she was doing that, Arusa was winking at Maka. Maka nodded a bit then looked at Kokona.
Maka: You can have him. (Giving Arusa a smirk) Wasn't that great of a kisser anyway.
Arusa chuckled.
Kokona: Well, now that that's settled. (Motioning Arusa over to her) Let's go.
Arusa walked over to Kokona with his back to Maka. It was then that Maka saw why he was confident all of a sudden. Arusa had his handcuffs open and just holding them in his hands. With further examination, she noticed a dark shadow under the door, probably where the guard was knocked out.
Arusa leaned into the kiss. As soon as Kokona closed her eyes, Arusa headbutted her and used a pressure point to knock her out. Once she was out cold, Arusa handcuffed her to a pipe on the far end of the room.
Then he turned his attention to Maka. He untied her arms and then her legs.
Arusa: Are you ok?
Maka:(Nodding) I should be asking you that.
Arusa: I'm cool besides my splitting headache. I keep forgetting that in a headbutt, both parties lose.
Maka:(Laughing) Well, as comical as this is, we have friends to save.
Arusa nodded and grabbed her hand.
Arusa: We should hurry too. We only have 10 minutes before she wakes up and that pipe won't hold her.
With that the duo ran to the door. Opening it carefully, to not cause suspicion, they tiptoed over the knocked out guard. They ran down the hall quickly hiding in the corner when they heard footsteps.
Maka: Wait. (Pulling away from Arusa to walk in the middle of the hall)
Arusa:(Whispering) Maka, get back here.
Maka:(To him) No. (To the person that just walked in front of her) Hey, can you help me get back to my room?
Arusa shook his head and stepped out of the corner. Standing there was a frightened looking girl with blue hair.
Maka: Arusa this is Yoshie. Yoshie...Arusa. (Motioning between the two)
Arusa: Hi. (Waving) Nice to meet you.
Yoshie nodded to Arusa before shyly ducking her eyes.
Arusa: So can you help us get to the room? We need to save our friends.
Yoshie nodded and motioned for them to follow her. The trio ran down the hallway to a isolated room. Yoshie stood there and unlocked to code. Soon the door was opened and Maka and Arusa ran into the room.
Maka: Guys, how did you guys get in here?
Black*Star: We went in through the open window and as soon as we entered, guards ambushed us and put us in this room.
Tsubaki: They restrained the weapons and locked us all in this room.
Liz: And we've been this way waiting on you guys.
Soul: Did you guys destroy the kishin?
Arusa: No, we had to get you guys out first before we fought. However, we did subdue her.
Kid: Good, now we can hopefully get this over with.
After that was said, a loud crash and bang echoed through the house.
Soul:(Smirking) Looks like backup arrived.
Maka: And not a moment to soon. Guys we need to go and help.
The group nodded and weapons transformed. Soul stood there as he wondered who he'd be working with.
Soul: Umm...Maka?
Maka: I already have that covered.
Soul:(Raising an eyebrow) How'd you-
Maka: Know what you were saying? Because, I knew you'd ask this.
Black*Star: Freaky.
Maka:(Glaring at Black*Star then turning back to Soul) As I was saying, we actually have a meister with no weapon. (Turning around) Yoshie?
The timid girl slowly came out of the corner.
Liz: Gah! She was standing there that whole time?
Maka:(Nodding) She's a bit shy, but she is a meister.
Yoshie smiled slowly and then nodded. Soul shrugged and turned into his weapon form.
Kid: Well, then it's settled. Now let's go!
The group sprinted down the stairs. They noticed the door was open and everyone was in the clearing. The backup team was fighting off the large mob of guards. Stein and Justin stood in the front fighting the guards to the best of their abilities, but they seemed to be struggling.
Arusa: C'mon guys, let's help.
The students ran to help fight the guards. They now realized that these guards were not going down without a fight, so they had to fight hard to keep them at bay. To make matters worse, there were also witches in the group. That took up even more time. And...
(Upstairs)
Kokona opened her eyes to see an empty room. As he moved, she noticed that she was tied up.
Kokona: Arusa! (Riping her hands free)
(Outside)
After his name was screamed out, Arusa turned his attention to the house.
Maka: What is the matter? (From weapon form)
Arusa: She's coming.
Looking at the door, Arusa watched Kokona come out fuming. Using just the force from her power, she knocked half of her minions aside. Then she took off into the forest.
Stein:(Yelling near them) Maka...Arusa, you have to stop her.
Maka: But-
Spirit: We have everything here.
Arusa looked over to the tumultuous [A/N: Vocab word for the week] fight that was occuring, then then to the fleeting back of the kishin.
Stein: Go!
Arusa took off.
They were soon caught up with the kishin.
Arusa: Koko, you know you can't outrun me.
Kokona turned around throwing a magic blast in their direction.
Arusa: Oh, so you do use magic. Piece of cake.
Arusa power rushed to Kokona, knocking her on the ground. He raised Maka up to make a blow, but he missed when Kokona rolled out of the way.
He didn't give her a moment to rest as he kept going. Each blow was perfectly calculated and he actually got a couple of hits in. Although, he wasn't the only one landing blows. Kokona used strong magic blasts while dodging.
Maka:(To Arusa telepathically) She seems to favorite her right doesn't she?
Arusa swung right and watched her block then blast, which he dodged effortlessly.
Arusa:(To Maka) Yeah, what about it.
Maka: Well, remember the exams and how we just attacked their weak points until we got a good blow?
Arusa: Yeah... (Suddenly realizing where she was coming from) Ok, but should we use that technique? It's still pretty new.
Maka: I think it's perfect.
Arusa nodded and started swinging left. Each time, Kokona dodged, but it took a lot of effort.
Kokona: You can't win. You are too weak, (Throwing a strong punch to Arusa's gut) and idiotic. (Swiftly kicking him in the face)
The hit caused Arusa to fall to the ground. He quickly picked himself up and smirked.
Arusa: Yet, (Wincing at the pain) you fear us.
Kokona: Fear!? Don't make me laugh.
Arusa: That's a nice bravado, but I know exactly how you feel right now.
Kokona: Really? Pray tell.
Arusa: You are scared of the fact that someone is facing you. It makes you anxious because if you are defeated, then you don't know what your future holds. (Walking closer and powering up for the attack)
Kokona:(Getting nervous) Do you think I'm afraid of you mortal bugs?
Arusa: You should be. (Smirking and still walking up)
Kokona: S-stay back. I'm warning you.
Arusa: I'm sorry but not really giving a damn about your warnings.
Kokona: As Kas, please. Leave me alone. (Looking with large pleading eyes)
Arusa: Koko, cut the act. We are not the same innocent, naive kids we were. I see through that. (Continuing to walk)
Kokona:(Gripping her hair and screaming) Back up! (Using her power force to push him back)
Maka: Arusa now!
Arusa nodded and charged forward. They had powered up enough for this final attack.
Arusa:(Swinging to Kokona's left) Deadly Sythe Glow!
The scythe swung through Kokona and a blinding white light glowed. In the light you could see Kokona's smiling face and tearful eyes.
Kokona: Guess you were right. (Sighing and whispering) Thank you, Asura.
The light expanded and then disappeared. When Arusa's vision finally cleared, Kokona's soul was left.
