A/N: When this fic ends, I'll probably write another. I think I said it before. I'll start writing after this and see if it's worthy of being read by you lovely people.
MssCassandra - And you mde mine!
hnk0286 - I totally would, but it would eventually get boring and you would hate me and this story.
iHillery - I never really thought about that. I guess they don't know? I certainly didn't tell them. So I suppose Eren didn't tell them either.
Inside the box, it was stuffy. When the party started and Eren heard noise, he knew he was going to be in there for a while. Armin and Mikasa had given him a bag of Skittles, but you can only eat so many Skittles before your head starts hurting and you start vomiting. He wished they had given him a bag of sandwiches or something.
The few times he heard Levi speak, his heart skipped a beat. Most of the time, though, it was Mikasa standing near the present. She even talked to him quietly for a bit before Armin told her to cut it out. The box was bumped a few times, and Eren hit his head against the cardboard at least two times. He tried to be quiet, but you can't hit your head against something quietly.
After an hour or two, the party calmed down. Eren could hear Levi mumbling to himself and the sound of a broom scraping across the ground. He wished Levi would hurry up. He heard water running.
Then, finally, he heard Lvvi rip off the note and read it. He heard the wrapping paper tearing, fast. He knew Levi was probably tearing it neatly, so as to not make a mess. He heard the sound of tape ripping as Levi tore it off. And finally, light.
Eren rubbed his eyes and stood up. He opened his mouth but before he could speak, strong arms wrapped around him. He could smell Levi, a mixture of cleaning products and manly musk, and hugged him back. He could feel (and see) Levi's body shaking slightly. Levi was holding him too tightly. He couldn't breathe, but didn't tell Levi. He stroked Levi's hair soothingly, whispering reassuring words to him.
Finally, Levi pulled back. His eyes were slightly red and he looked more vulnerable than Eren could ever imagine. Eren was shocked at how tired he looked. Did he sleep at all while Eren was gone?
"Where were you?" he asked, his voice raw.
And so, Eren told his story. He omitted the part about Mike, not wanting Levi to kill him. When he was done, Levi was silent for a moment. Then he leaned in and brushed his lips against Eren's.
"You have no idea how scared I was." he whispered. "Damned brat."
Eren just smiled and pulled Levi closer, wrapping his arms around him. Levi responded hungrily, tangling their legs so they fell back onto the couch. Levi pulled back for air. He was now on top of Eren. He was just so goddamn happy-
"Rivialle," Eren said, fidgeting a bit beneath him. "Can I tell you something?"
(A/N: Don't tell me it's too soon because-)
"What is it?" Levi asked huskily.
"I..." Eren paused for a moment. "I think I might love you."
Levi stopped for a second, then crushed Eren's body against his. Eren let out a squeak. Was Levi upset?
"Damned brat." Levi was blushing terribly, so he buried his face in Eren's hair. "I love you too."
Eren was filled with relief. Levi loved him too! He smiled and pulled Levi back down for another kiss. He was glad to be home.
Armin stood in front of Legout, his head held high. He was still feeling happy from when Eren showed up that now he had courage. Enough courage to break someone's heart.
"What did you want to tell me?" asked Legout. He knew what was coming. He shouldn't have kissed Armin. He knew it.
"I can't return your feelings." said Armin. "But we can still be friends."
"I never said anything about my feelings." said Legout.
"But you-"
"I just felt like kissing you, OK?" said Legout. "Now go to Jean and tell him how much you love him."
Armin hesitated, then ran. Right into Jean. Legout walked away, his head low. It could have gone worse, he guessed. He knew Armin wouldn't return his feelings. At least they could still stay friends, right? Tears were worthless. Tears were-
Goddamn it, Legout swiped his tears away angrily and started running. He knew it, but that didn't keep it from hurting.
"Yes," said Armin. Jean looked at him in confusion.
"Yes what?" asked Jean.
"I'll go out with you." said Armin.
At first, Jean just stood there. Then he leaned in and kissed Armin, hard. Armin stood on his tiptoes so Jean wouldn't have to lean down so much. Jean was smiling widely against Armin's mouth. So, he was happy. At least, Armin hoped so.
"One day, we'll see the ocean together." Jean promised happily.
"I never said I'd marry you." said Armin, reaching up for another kiss and laughing at Jean's startled face. One day, you won't look at anyone but me,thought Armin.
But what Armin didn't know was that the day had already come.
A/N: And up next, a cute marriage! Hooray. Also, this chapter is shorter, but I wasn't sure exactly how to do this.
