A/N this chapter will be my back-story on Tia.
Chapter 8 The past of Tia Halibel
-Year 4-
A little girl was wondering on the beach of one of the Hawaiian islands. She was four years you could tell just by looking at her. She had real short blonde hair and green eyes. Her name is Tia Halibel and this is the start of her past.
"Tia come here, you are too young to be wandering the beach." A female voice called out who the young Tia Halibel turned around and looked at.
"Okay mommy." She said with a smile on her face as she ran towards a beautiful woman. The woman had blonde hair just like her daughter though hers fell down to her shoulders in two braids. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean. Her breasts were large about DD-cups in size. She was wearing a grass skirt which didn't leave much to the imagination as it was very revealing.
While Tia does have her mom who is very caring and loving. Her dad had passed away a few days before she was born.
"Let's go home okay sweetie, I will cook your favorite meal." The caring mom said with a smile on her face as she turned around which showed a sheathed sword was on her back.
"Okay." The little Tia said as she followed her mom back to their little wooden home.
-Year 8-
A young Tia was slashing at the bark of the tree with a short sword. She had a smile on her face as she attacked the tree. The reason she had a sword was because at her age once a child has reached the age of eight they learn how to use a sword.
"Tia you are attack too hostilely when someone fight they have to be calm and collected or else you will make a mistake that will cause you to lose your life." Tia's mother instructed.
Tia turned and looked at her mom. Now Tia's hair was in three tiny braids to help contain her usually shoulder length messy blond hair.
"Alright mom." Tia said as she started attacking the tree again but in a much more precise way.
"Stop Tia. sweetheart I think it's time you had your first opponent and that is me." Tia's mom said while smiling kindly at her daughter. Tia calmed her anxious breathing before saying.
"Let's go mother. I am ready so don't hold back too much." Tia said with a smile that she would finally get to spar with her mom. She was this excited because her mom was the best swordsman in the village.
The two then went at it as the sound of metal clashed against each other. Tia's mom then did a horizontal slash that Tia blocked expertly as her instincts started to kick in.
"Good job, you are doing well Tia." Her mom said as she attempted to stab her arm which got blocked again.
"Stop patronizing me mom I know you are holding back. You would never go all out against me." Tia said as she stabbed her sword into the ground which made her mom do the exact same thing.
"Well I am not going to try to kill my own daughter." She said with her heartwarming smile which made her daughter smile.
"Okay mom. Is it okay if I go to the beach and go surfing?" She asked as she grabbed a wooden surf board that she made a while ago.
"Sure sweetie just make sure you keep an eye out for sharks got it." Tia's mom said who got an excited nod from Tia who was eager to go surfing.
She ran towards the beach and got on her surf board. As she was surfing through the waves she heard a boom sound somewhere in the water.
Out of nowhere ripples formed on the water even thought there was nothing there. Tia had a terrified look on her face. 'What is creating those ripples? Is there some ghost?' She thought as she examined the crystal clear water.
Then out of nowhere a cut appeared on her arm. She let out a grunt of pain as something surged out of the water. Then where the invisible assailant appeared a giant splash sounded.
"What the heck happened?" A wounded Tia said as she gripped her arm. She then made her way back to her home not knowing who made the cut on her arm or why it happened.
Little did the little girl know was this wasn't the only time this would happen to her. What she didn't know was a hollow was the creature that attacked her and that attack gave her a little reiatsu.
In a few years she would be able to see spirits.
-Year 16-
Tia had became a huge sword prodigy. She was even better than her mom at sword fighting. Though one thing that happened to her was she could now she spirits and she had her own spiritual friend.
She was heading towards the beach with some grilled boar pork. She then yelled to the beach to call her friend.
"LILY COME ON OUT ITS TIME FOR LUNCH!" She called out to ocean as ripples appeared and a serpent looking water dragon came out. At least it looked like a water dragon except the blue lightning strike lines on its face.
"Hello Tia. It's a beautiful day today isn't it." The dragon said in a very feminine voice. Tia just sighed and placed her hands on her hips.
"Did you forget? You said you would tell me about hollows like you at least that's what you call your type of spirits right." Tia reminded the dragon hollow.
"Oh I forgot how silly of me. Now I will tell you what even soul reapers don't know about us." She paused only to continue.
" Hollows are usually born by wholes filled with anger or a negative emotion who doesn't want to go to S.S. There are special cases like myself, hollows like myself were wholes who were attacked by a hollow and beat the hollow inside. The result is a hollow who has complete control over them self or if their human good qualities shine so brightly they override the hollow qualities, also they can be exceptions if they have great self control."
"Ohhh that is so cool." The teenage Tia said as she leaned forward causing her to fall over. Tia now looked a lot like how we have known her to look like. She had her well tanned skin, a nicely toned stomach , and large breasts. Her hair was tied in three braids.
"As I was saying hollow like me who are more human have complete control over our self. I hate devouring souls which is why I am still a regular hollow." Lily explained moving her head towards Tia to nuzzle her friend.
"You are just fine the way you are Lily, mind if I take a nap on your back?" Tia asked Lily who smiled and put Tia on her back. Lily was like a second mom for Tia.
"Tia I promise that I will always protect you from any danger. I am your guardian hollow." Lily said as Tia started to fall asleep on her back.
Lily smile as she looked at the sleeping tan human girl who she viewed just like a daughter. Lily wished they would always be like this, but sadly fate wasn't going to allow it.
The two had other tender moments like two weeks after Lily's teaching, she told Tia about soul reapers.
"Now Tia I have already told you everything about us hollows, like our evolutions and how we act now I will tell you about our main enemy soul reapers. While I don't hate soul reapers and understand them more than other hollow. I dislike them to some extent."
"What do you mean by that Lily?" Tia asked as she tilted her head in slight confusion.
"I will explain. The reason I understand them is some hollows are just plain dangerous and need to be exterminated. I dislike them because some hollows who never hurt humans get killed because of them." Lily said while sighing after she explained.
"I understand Lily, but why don't soul reapers try to get some sort of peace agreement with the friendly hollows?" Tia asked.
"Because to soul reapers there is no such thing as a friendly hollow or a good hollow, all they think of my kind is that we are savage beasts with no emotion that love bloodshed which isn't true for some of us. Every hollow can feel emotion while most feel negative ones some feel positive emotions.:
"That is not right to be judgmental of hollows just because they have a mask on and can eat souls! Soul reapers should realize hollows can have individuality!" Tia exclaimed.
Lily just smiled at her friend not knowing that this peace was not to be as in six weeks a terrible event happened. Tia was walking towards the beach when she heard the sounds of a battle.
"Oceanus Cero!" Lily's voice rung throughout the beach. Tia ran down to see Lily swallowing some water into her mouth as it expanded. A loud 'bang' echoed as she opened her mouth revealing a giant teal blue colored cero.
"You disgusting hollow that was a terrible trick you just tried to pull there. I WILL KILL YOU!" A man's voice yelled as Tia looked in his direction to see a man in black robes with a sword.
Tia unsheathed the sword on her back and before the soul reaper could attack Lily, Tia got in his way and blocked the charge.
"Tia..." Lily said shocked that she was there.
"Lily what the hell is going on?" Tia asked in a completely calm voice.
"That man over there is a soul reaper he has come to kill me as the S.S sees me as a threat since I have been in the human world so long."
"I won't let him hurt you!" Tia exclaimed as she charged at the soul reaper.
"Get out of the way girl I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I have to." The soul reaper threatened only to dodge a attack from a angry Tia.
"If you mess with Lily you mess with me. She is like a second mother to me and I WON'T LET YOU HURT HER!"
"I am not going to let you do all the work here Tia this is my battle. Oceanus Cero!" She then sucked up a giant amount of water and absorbed it, turning it into a teal blue cero of great intensity.
The Cero powered its way towards the soul reaper annihilating all in its path. It reached its target wounding the soul reaper.
"If I am going down I will take you with me hollow!" He then charged Lily while wounded. He jumped over Tia causing her to gasp in shock not expecting it.
Lily tried to knock him out of the air but failed. He managed to slash her all across the claw causing her to scram in agony.
He then tried to stab her in the chest which hit but barely missed her heart. She then reached down and bit on the man's arm. She then slowly was moving her head to the side causing blood too gush out of his arms as it was starting to get torn apart.
Lily then fell to the ground in sync with the soul reaper. Tia dashed towards her wounded friend in a panic.
"Lily! Lily NOOOOOOOOO! Why? *sobs* Why did you have to die you were a caring and great person? WHY?" She yelled as tears came running down her cheeks.
Memories of her dear hollow friend started to flash before her eyes like when she found out when she was attacked by a hollow before Lily was the one who killed it.
"Tia I am not dead yet. I will be in a few minutes. I wanted to say this to you for the whole time I meet you. Ever since I found you I always thought of you as a daughter. So know that I love you and will always live on in year heart."
The water dragon said as she traced one of her talons gently across Tia's cheek. She gave her a loving smile before her clawed hand fell limp. Her body slowly disintegrating from tail up.
"Before I die I will give you something to remind you of me." Lily said as her last words as two thunder looking tattoos went down the sides of Tia's cheeks.
"I will never forget you my dear friend." Tia said as tears continued to run down her cheeks. She now was sure of one things and that was she hated soul reapers.
Tia ran home to be greeted by her mom.
"Tia sweetheart what is wrong?" She asked concerned as to why she had tears on the sides of her cheeks.
"A friend of mine died." Tia said plainly as her mom embraced her.
"Now Tia we are all bound to die at some time. Are those tattoos on your cheeks your way of remembering your friend?"
"Yes they are I now have them in her memory." Tia said as she ran her hands over the thunder strikes.
"They look nice. You have become one of the prettiest women in the village, I am so proud of you. I think you should start looking for a husband." Tia's mom suggested.
"No mom I am not searching for love as right now all I want to do is get stronger, but when I met the man I like I will know." Tia said as she went to her mother's training room.
A few weeks after Lily's death a tragic event happened that caused Tia's death. She was sparing with one of the villagers when a boar came running into the village causing her opponent to lose focus and he cut her right across the belly this caused her to die of blood loss.
"What is happening to me?" She asked herself as she saw a chain where her heart was. She was running around pointlessly as a spirit because she hated soul reapers because of Lily's death making her not pass on.
After a short while a hollow attacked her causing her to enter a inner world as she was becoming a hollow. She saw a woman who greatly resembled a shark looking at her.
The shark lady had DD-cup sized breasts with a tiny grass bikini and skirt. She had beautiful silver colored hair, from her pelvis all the way to her neck her body was colored a beautiful white, her arms and most of her legs were a grey color. She had tiny sharp teeth with some human teeth and she had a tail.
"Hello Tia nice to meet ya. My name is Tiburon I am the hollow that has been living inside you ever since our dear friend's death."
"You have you say?" Tia questioned the spirit.
"Yes, however unlike most hollow spirits my desire isn't to have complete control. I want us to work in unison as since my creation your human traits have influenced me. So let's become a team, while you will be in control of your new hollow body and your memories erased we will work as a team. I promise though when the time is right I will give these memories back to you."
Tia seemed to think this over as this was a important decision to make.
"I will join with you though I have a question. When we become a hollow will I still be good? Tia asked the spirit.
"Yes as for most hollows the hollow spirit like myself has killed the human self and become the sole owner of the soul. Though as I have said I just want a union."
"Let's begin our union Tiburon." Tia said holding out her hand that the shark women grabbed quickly.
"Yes let us become friends." She said as she took Tia's hand and started to glow.
"What is happening?" Tia asked aloud.
"You are now getting my powers. Me and you will now have combined energy, and don't worry about your new life as a hollow I will help you through. This will enhance both of our abilities as we have combined our spirits. "
The two then flashed out of the girl's inner world and Tia was now a full hollow. She looked exactly like a shark except the double set of teeth in her mouth like most other regular hollows.
She opened a Garganta and headed into it and started her new life as a hollow. Once Tia arrived in Hueco Mundo she felt an undying hunger for Hollow souls and luckily for her thanks to her union with Tiburon she easily wiped her competition.
She hated eating the souls of other hollows it did it with some guilt as she saw it as murder.
'Attack and gain power so one day you can avenge the friend whose name you will remember on the right day.' Tiburon instructed and whenever they fought other hollows she gave advice from the sidelines.
She was called by the other hollows as the 'Shark princess' and was feared by regular hollows. Soon after just one week she became a Gillian. When she took the form of a Gillian she had a mask that looked like it was part of a shark's jaw.
After she had a meal and was resting her now giant body she started talking to herself.
"Why do I hate to devour these hollows souls? Why must I have to do this to keep my individuality? Why can't I remember anything about my past?" The female hollow questioned before going back to her daily pattern.
After she ate plenty of other Gillians she felt a new powerful power overflow through her veins filling her with raw and a undesirable strength. She could fell herself feel smaller and faster.
After the change was done She looked like a beautiful shark. her whole body was covered in beautiful grey bony plates, she had four sharp fins; two at the start of her tail and two at the front part of her body. Peaking out of her mask was a few strands of blond hair from the part that doesn't completely cover her alluring green eyes. She had a long streamlined tail waving behind her in her own rhythmic pattern. On the sides of her mask were two thunder strike marks.
'You are now a Adjucha congrats, Tia.' Tiburon said in a proud voice as Tia observed her surroundings. Just as she looked to her left a man with a black Shihakusho and a long sword. When she saw him she was filled with anger towards the soul reaper for some reason.
She ran towards him and tried to slash him with one of her razor sharp fins only to get slashed, luckily her wound was healing itself pretty quickly. She then spun around and swiped him with her tail knocking him to the ground.
Just as she was about to deliver the finishing blow a part of her human memories kicked in causing her to decide show the soul reaper mercy.
"Go ahead and finish me you evil Hollow." The soul reaper said not afraid to die.
"No I am not going to kill you as you truly don't deserve to die." She said in a completely human voice.
"Why?" He questioned wanting to know why a hollow would spare anybody.
"Because I hate killing and only do so when I need to eat souls, so I detest doing it any other time." She explained and she walked away from him. Little did she know that Tiburon showed her that flash of memories to help her keep her humanity.
A few days after her encounter with the soul reapers she saw a anaconda Adjucha getting ganged up on. She knew she was going to help the anaconda Adjucha as she disliked seeing them all ganging up on her.
She charged towards the Adjuchas and aiming slashes at them which killed all of them but one. This one quickly parried her attacks with his hierro. He then aimed a slash towards her side which she jumped over gracefully. Then she turned around and opened her mouth a yellow light shining from it.
"Cero." She said quickly as the yellow light blasted out of her mouth towards her target who countered it. Several red lights were glowing from this Adjucha's finger tips.
"Cero, now die bitch!" He said with anger causing the red and yellow ceros to collide with each other. Her yellow one slowly beat his causing him to have to try to dodge it only to get his feet burned by the blast.
"This is the end for you. Adjuchas like you disgust me ganging up on the females because they are defenseless." Tia said as she sliced the male hollow's head clean off.
She then walked over towards the fallen anaconda hollow and looked the scared Adjucha in the eyes.
"Just kill me quickly please miss." She begged causing Tia to sigh as that was not her intention.
"What is your name? You can follow me if you want." Tia asked while offering happy at the chance of a little company besides the female shark voice in her head.
"My name is Sun-Sun and why would you want me to travel with you miss?" Sun-Sun asked Tia who smiled underneath the mask.
"My name is Tia Halibel and why I want you to travel with me is because we can be stronger in a group then alone." Tia informed her.
"That is true so I accept your invitation to travel with you as it would be beneficial to both of us." Sun-Sun said.
"Good as long as you travel with me I will not let any other hollow try to hurt you like they did a few minutes ago.
The two become very close friends during their travels. About one month after Tia met Sun-Sun she started to feel her power expand and growing very fast and large.
"I feel my power increasing." She said after she finished eating a Adjucha. She started to glow and her shape changed.
She now easily had DD sized breasts. Her belly, boobs, neck, and most of her arms were a light blue color, while the rest of her body was white and on her legs were black marks. Her short messy blonde hair was now revealed as well as some of her beautiful tanned face and her emerald eyes. She had what looked like shark fins on her shoulder's armor pads. the sides of her stomach had black slants like a shark's gills. She was now a Vasto Lorde and a beautiful one at that.
"My-my you look so pretty lady Halibel. Congratulations you are now a Vasto Lorde. It is a honor to see one right before my eyes as they are so rare." Sun-Sun appraised.
"Now Sun-Sun there is no reason to praise me so much. Also I know longer feel like I have to keep devouring souls to keep my individuality. From this day forth I promise never to eat a soul again and if I can't rely on the power of myself I will count on the strength of a group." She said honestly earning a clap from her snake companion.
"That was a wonderful speech Lady Halibel." Sun-Sun complimented Tia.
"Sun-Sun why do you constantly praise me? I ask you to please stop praising me if it is because of when I saved you. You owe me nothing okay." Tia said with a smile behind her mask.
"I am sorry Lady Halibel the reason is because you save me so from now on I will give you my completely honest opinion." Sun-Sun said while she had a smile on her face.
The two journeyed together until one day Tia found a hide out like place where they made their home. One day Tia decided to search for more comrades as it would be very beneficial.
She was walking across the almost everlasting sand when she saw a lion Adjucha fighting a raptor looking Adjucha.
The raptor like Adjucha had a black line of feathers going down his neck. His body was the color of crimson red and he had five green zigzag lines going across his mask. He had shining razor sharp claw on his hand. He had a very twisted evil and hungry grin across his face.
"Now relax missy I will kill you quickly and become even stronger, then eventually I will become a Vasto Lorde." He gloated, but then heard the sound of Tia charging him.
She tried to slash at him with her arm sword but he caught it surprisingly.
"So you are a Vasto Lorde, I can tell that by your strong reiatsu. The bad thing for you is the fact I am the fastest hollow around." He said as he Sonidoed right behind her raking some of her back with his claws.
she then turned around and tried to slash him again and he responded by jumping on her sword. He then kicked her right in the face sending her flying,
"You might be tough, but you are not as fast as me and as a result you will lose this battle." He said just as he tried to get behind her. Tia then flared her Reiryoku up as high as possible causing a yellow line to fly into the sky.
The result was her reiatsu sky rocked making it hard for the lioness Adjucha to stand and the raptor.
"So you are extremely strong, that is the difference between you and I. It is a shame I will die by a hollow without a hollow hole."He said as she delivered the final blow.
"Kill me quickly please." The lioness said only to get a blank stare from Tia.
"No just follow me and if you can be may be one of my comrades. My name is Tia Halibel." Tia said while walking off getting followed by the lioness.
"My name is Mila Rose it is a pleasure to meet you." Tia then took her back to the home and found out that Sun-Sun and Mila rose constantly butted heads with each other. While Mila rose would say something, Sun-Sun would make a calm retort causing Mila rose to start yelling.
They later on got another partner named Apache(watch the anime to know how that happens) and then became arrancars.
-During Ichigo and co's invasion at Hueco Mundo-
Right after Aizen had briefed all of the Espadas about the latest invaders Tia couldn't help but wonder. She was wondering why she felt so attracted towards the carrot orange colored hair soul reaper.
'It is not just because he is good looking it is something else.' She thought while a slight pink blush worked its way on her cheeks. She wondered why she was acting like this but then she remembered.
"I always wanted to find a soul reaper who would accept a hollow even though a hollow is a hollow. Could he be the one is that why I feel the need to talk to him?" She said aloud not knowing that the real reason she felt the needed to talk to him was because of the Soul mate bond that was on their souls.
Later that say when she was outside she saw the fight between Ichigo and Grimmjow and she was watching most of it. She was utterly shocked when Ichigo put on his mask.
'A soul reaper with the powers of a hollow, he could be the one I have been looking for.' She watched their battle taking in every single detail.
She noticed how his eyes had changed from their warm amber color yellow color with black sclera and pupils. Though most would find his transformation deadly looking she could still see the care he had for his friends.
She then had hoped that if once this war was over she would get to meet this Ichigo Kurosaki and hopefully become his friend.
She smiled underneath her mask fragment and her high collar jacket, 'I can't wait for a day I get to meet you, Ichigo Kurosaki.'
A/N So what did everyone think of this chapter and all. I thought really hard on this chapter and I hope you enjoyed the past I gave Tia. Also I have fixed some of the errors in this story and as a result of Christmas family reunions I will have the story placed later but here is a preview:
Ichigo got up and was surprised to see Kyōka, Shiro, and Zangetsu right in front of him as he was in his inner world.
"So I am here again. What is it this time? It seems I have been called here so many time as of late." Ichigo said in a slightly annoyed tone earning a laugh from Kyōka.
"Did you forget Ichigo? I told you I was eventually going to help you learn my Bankai. It is extremely powerful I had not even told my previous partner, Aizen all the details and its full power." She said in a completely serious tone.
"Oh yeah now I remember." Ichigo said only to get punched by Shiro.
"The fuck Shiro!" Ichigo shouted at the hollow only to get a sigh from him.
"Did you completely fucking not notice me and Zangetsu! We have come to teach you a few extra techniques, like dual Bankai. Also I can't forget the Bankai Resurrección that me and Zangetsu can have. " Shiro said with a dark grin on his face.
"What are you talking about Shiro? Why would I need to combine the powers of my Bankai and Resurrección . They already give me enough power." Ichigo said with confidence.
"Ichigo listen to me, the powers of the dual Bankai and Bankai Resurrección is knowledge you need to know, also you must remember that while you fight to protect the people you care about there is always someone stronger than you so we must always keep improving." Zangetsu said very seriously.
