Chapter 29

Here it is everyone; the final chapter of Cute Revenge, this is hard for me to type out because ive been so busy with school work and well pokémon. I got Y on the release date and it is the most beautiful thing ever. It all 3D like and I didn't rush through it but I have beaten it and I'm now expanding my pokedex so...ya. Sorry. Enough of my talking, you have waited long enough for this, enjoy.

Drew's POV

We had finally calmed down over getting record deals, this was an amazing feeling that none of us could get over, and we managed to calm down, so... progress. Right? Everyone had gone to sleep for our last night in the dorm. I now was waiting in the rose garden on the roof for May to arrive.

It was just past an hour since everyone had gone to bed, just when I told her to be here. Since she was slightly late I just had to make sure that everything was perfect. Well, again I mean. The roses were in place, my tie was the perfect tightness, candles were still lit and phone was connected to the small speakers I had brought up and hid around the roof through Bluetooth. Everything is ready and perfect.

Looking over my outfit once again I wanted to make sure that May would like it. I know her favourite colour is red but I also know that she looks great in blue, so I decided to go with a blue dress shirt since it would match the dress I left for her. With it I was wearing a pair of white skinny jeans and the white tie that I had to re-adjust yet again. I was wearing black dress shoes and my favourite silver watch to top off the look.

I waited bending over to have my forearms rest on the ledge, looking at the moonlight's reflection over the deep sea. I heard the faint clicking of heels, which shortly came to a stop. "It's a beautiful view isn't it?" I asked knowing that May had arrived and was standing behind me.

"Ya, it is, the moon always looks nice around here, especially when all the lights are off around campus. Then you can see all the stars as well." that sweet voice. Her sweet voice, calming yet it makes me nervous all the time. I turned to look at May in the dress that I had my mom create for me, well, May. It was a sapphire blue, the exact shade of her eyes. Stunning, the only word I could use that could even begin to describe her.

Time to work my way into her mind, "no June, I was talking about me. Arceus, don't you know how to complement people."

"Drew! You just ruined the whole moment." I smirked at her response. It was typical May behavior, now if I could find a way to not get freaking out reactions.

Where is that remote for the speakers...right, back pocket! I pulled it out keeping it hidden behind my back and pressed the play button. One of my favourite slow songs, stairway to heaven began to play. I put the remote back in my pocket and began to walk up to May.

"Where's that music coming from," her puzzled gaze turned to me. "Drew, is something wrong?"

"You know, for someone so smart you can be so stupid. You know why I wanted to meet you here, to talk about earlier today." Her face turned red and she looked down. "May, I need to know. You know my feelings but I need to know yours. Do I move on or do I just keep waiting. I can't take this anymore, every day I see you and I hide everything, I can't just be with you like I want to be." I turned away and went to the edge of the rooftop, climbing onto the brick banister.

"Drew! What are you doing!" was all I heard as I walked. Stupid, innocent May. I sat down on the edge and looked back up at the sky.

"Sitting here; I always come here to think." I heard the clicking of her heels again. "I wasn't going to jump or anything. I'm not that stupid you know." She took a seat beside me with her legs still over the rooftop unlike mine which were just dangling over the edge.

"So to talk, alight; where do I begin?"

"And we're back! That was the well-known song 'What does the fox say?' I'm Randy Ozlin and this is Tune Talk (Don't judge the name I couldn't think of anything). Today we have special guests Night Shade and Angels' Light, the teen bands that have their careers just lifting off! Welcome to the show guys it's great to have you here today."

"It's great to be here Randy," Dawn said cheerfully brushing some bangs away from her eyes.

"And that is Dawn Berlitz, the stunning beauty of Angel's light, the lead singer! With her is fiery and fierce May Maple the mighty Misty Waterflower, and the smarticle particle Leaf Green." Each said hello as their name was brought up. "So girls I know that you have been away from home from home for a while, how do you think people will react once you get back home?"

"Well I mean I would hope that they would treat us normally do to that fact that we are still the same people, but doing the considering that we are technically getting famous now, I highly doubt that my hopes will be real," Leaf sighed as she fiddled with the hem of her shirt.

"So you don't want the attention Leaf? That's new everyone wants to be famous," Randy stated to the girls looking somewhat confused. Gary smirked as he forgot that Leaf had her shy side, which he found rather interesting, she's been through so much and doesn't take anything from anyone and yet she doesn't want any attention, it made sense in a way but not to anyone that doesn't know about her past.

"You know, Leaf may not want to be famous but I sure do, think of all the woman I could have just ahhng at my every move." Gary spoke, putting his feet on the desk where the microphones sat.

"Well I see your priorities are straight, you have a girlfriend and that's what your first thought is." Leaf said unamused. She crossed her arms and gave Gary a stern look from across the room, where she sat.

"Oh that's right, I haven't introduced you listeners to everyone, welcome the lady's man Gary Oak, the lovable Ash Ketchum, the charming Drew Shuu, and the bad boy of the group Paul Shinji." Like the girls, everyone said hello in their own way, Paul's being a simple 'hn' like usual. "Now that that has been covered, back to this girlfriend thing, Gary there is that special someone in your life? What's she like? What's her name? Is she actually real?"

"Hey! I have been with many girls, so yes she is real and what is she like hmm...well," Leaf looked intrigued by what she was about to say. "She's alright."

"ALRIGHT! I'M ALRIGHT! THAT'S IT!" Leaf blew up causing Gary to hide under the table, "why don't you tell the lovely listeners what I'm really like." She said acting in her sweetest voice.

Randy out his hand over the mic leaning down towards Gary, "is she always like this?" Gary nodded his head. "Well you might want to fix that before you get killed.

"Nah I like her this way, feisty the best kind." Gary said into the mic after her returned to his chair. Looking over to Leaf he saw her tracing her finger against her throat horizontally causing him to gulp.

"Well what about the rest of you, do you have anyone special in your lives?"

"I have the best girlfriend ever sitting right over there!" Ash yelled standing up and pointing towards Misty.

"Yup, everyone pray for me, I'm dealing with an idiot, a lovable idiot." Misty stated as she smiled as Ash who had the goofy smile that everyone knew.

"I have Dawn." Paul said next, nothing more nothing less.

"A talkative one aren't you?" Randy glared causing Paul to just roll his eyes and shrug his shoulders. "Drew what about you? You are the only one who hasn't mention having anyone and judging by the blush that is now on you face I know there is someone."

As I was about to speak, Gary cut in, "Drew doesn't have a girlfriend, it's sad but true."

"Gee thanks, but I do have one." All eyes went towards me except May who just blushed madly. "Ya guys thanks for giving me that look, but as of last night I do finally have someone to call mine. My sweet little June bug." I smirked; matching that of Gary's when he messed with Leaf.

"My name is May! We are dating and you still use the same stupid joke."

"Hey, it does its job does it not, it bugs the hell out of you."

"So?"

"So."

"Okay, well looks like we have about ten minutes left, that went way to fast...Mary are you sure the time is correct?" Randy turned to the glass window leading to another room where Mary was. She nodded her head and leaned down to the microphone putting her finger on what was probably a button.

"Yes we only have ten minutes left, how about a little song from the bands before we go out, that is if you don't mind." Mary said before going back to her original position of sitting on a chair checking on the other stations she was managing.

"So what about it? You guys up for a little performance?" We all agreed and as a group decided that the girls would go first and if there was enough time, since we had to decide what we would play, we would play.

Dawn's POV

Since there were no instruments we had to figure out what to do for a tune. In the end Misty was going to be hitting the desk for drums and May was going to hum a melody...if that makes any sense, and Leaf and I were going to sing.

"Okay everyone this song is called hurricane and it was written by miss Leaf Green." I said into the mic before signalling for Misty and May to start. Hurricane- Bridget Mendler

Randy and the boys applauded us; Paul was giving a small smile towards me and me only so that no one else could see it. I pulled out my phone and check the time as Randy talked about us so more before we had to leave. Tuning back into the conversation I heard Randy say that there was going to be a contest later on for the radio station and tickets to a concert that we were apparently preforming at in a few months. Well that`s news to me, I looked at the others faces which looked as confused as mine was. Apparently I want the only one who didn't know; which means we need to have a talk with Lyra and Silver.

"Alright everyone, that's it for our time with Angel's Light and Night Shade, sorry for not getting to do any calls but we only have so much time before their flights leave so they can get back home. Thanks for being here today guys; it's been great having you." Gary spoke for the group saying that it was a pleasure to be here and that we might be able to come back another time after our careers have really begun. "Here's a little music for all you listeners now." Randy nodded to Mary who hit a button in the room and then Randy turned off the mic saying bye to us as we stood up.

As everyone left, I stayed back a second to fix my skirt, the stupid ruffles got all messed up sitting down for that long. I strained my gray tank top and the navy blue cardigan I wore over top, grabbing my white over the shoulder bag before I was about to leave the room. "Hey Dawn," I turned around my pony tail flipping behind me.

Randy was there with an envelope that looked fairly full of something, "You can't leave without your payment for being here. Everyone has a check in there, so open it together would ya." I walked over to Randy taking the envelope with a smile and putting it in my bag. "Also if you ever want to hang out I'm available," he added with a wink.

"You realize that Paul will beat you if he found out what you said. Also if you try hitting on me at least get better at it, you need some lessons, just saying, and if you cut your hair a little and got some contacts, I'm sure you can find someone that is your type. Here," I pulled out a card from my bag. "This is the best stylist I know in the city, tell her I sent you and let her work. you will be a hit. Just don't hit on me okay?"

"Ya, sorry about that, I mean it's worth a shot. But thanks I'll head over at some point when I'm off I guess."

With that said I left the room catching up with everyone else. I noticed that they already went downstairs to the lobby and were probably waiting for me there. My heels click as I walked through the white hall making sure to keep quiet since some radio shows were on air. I reached the elevator and called it to come to the floor.

"You know you should really tell someone that you are going to be a while," I looked around to see that Misty was standing next to me. "I had to go to the washroom so I went." She said answering the question before I could ask it. Misty was wearing a pair of ripped blue jeans, and a light pink, white and black, plaid shirt. Her hair was tied back into a small pony tail. Over the year she actually had her hair grow out a little, and I mean a little. It now goes just under her shoulder if left down, but when it was tied up you couldn't tell.

The elevator arrived and Misty and I hopped in. we waited for it to arrive to the ground floor and once the doors opened we stepped out to find the others.

Everyone was found seated in the lobby, in the many white leather chairs that were set up for people. I noticed that Drew's parents were here talking to everybody, who had wide-eyed expressed on their faces. Misty and I walked over, being greeted by Mr. and Ms. Shuu...I mean Hayden, their names are confusing Drew's last name is Shuu but is mom introduced herself as Hayden. I don't quite understand.

"Great you two are here now! I can tell you the good news, one year from now you and your friends will be sailing on the SS Hayden. To get there you will need to go to Hoenn which you will be flying on Shuu airlines to do!" I now understand why my friends had their faces like that. Clarissa went on explaining the many luxuries the boat had to offer and how they finally got it up and running as a surprise for us.

"Oh and Drew," Cole started after his wife had finished. "My announcement for you, well our announcement for you," he continued as he put an arm around his wife's waist. "We are going to have another child. A little girl, you'll have the little sister that you've wanted." We looked at Drew who was speechless; he looked both surprised and happy all at once.

"Drew I didn't know you wanted a little sister, why didn't you tell any of us?" May asked well she hugged him from behind the chair he was sitting in.

"I didn't think it was necessary, but I have always wanted the little sister that I could be a big brother too, I mean you have a little brother and you love that, so you get it." Drew explained. It was sweet, the thought of Drew becoming a brother and looking after his sister it made this year complete I think.

I mean ya we've got all our friends now, more than we could've imagined; we got ourselves boyfriends which we hold close to our hearts. It's great to see Leaf finally opening up and trusting boys again after her incident. Misty now has someone she can rely on and make her happy with how she is. May has finally been accepted for her goals in life. As for me, I think I finally have met someone I know my dad would approve of. With the news of now getting what we set out for and Drew's family growing, meaning that our whole family is growing, life is going just as it should and I never want it to change.

As I was thinking I didn't notice everyone stand up and start heading outside where the limo was waiting for us to take us to the airport, where we would say our final goodbyes for now. I looked up with a smile to see Paul standing in front of my with his arm extended but body facing towards the exit. His mouth opened to speak, "Come on, let's go home."

So how was it? was it worth the wait, I mean I've had this going for like a month but this past week ive gotten sick yet again, but with gastritis, so I've been really sick and weak. Not able to do a whole lot.

Oh if you're wondering the whole Drew name thing, his mother's maiden name was Shuu not Rose, which was her modelling name. His father's name is Cole Hayden. Drew was born before his parents were married so they decided to give him his mother maiden name because they didn't know if they would still be together. Ya I planned this out. I just didn't think you would want that explanation in the story so I left it out for here.
