It's been a month or two since Trunks had kissed me, but he showed no signs of doing it again... And I don't know if that's a good thing, or a bad thing. Anyways, our food supply has all but run out, making us rely on alien foods from the many different planets we've been to since we started this trip, and let me tell you right now, it was not pleasant... The radar showed that the blip, Planet Namek, is extremely close to us, so we both kept watch for Namek. We would take turns every 12 hours, one of us would stay up for 12 hours to keep a look out while the other slept, and when the 12 hours were over, we would switch. That way we could both get some sleep and look out for Namek at the same time. It was my turn to look out for Namek, but I wasn't doing so well... I didn't get a very good sleep when I had time to rest, so I had trouble keeping my eyes open. Luckily for me, I was already 10 hours into my shift, so I only had a couple of hours left. Trunks had left his watch out on the dashboard with an alarm set for every 12 hours, which kept our turns on time. Now I was pretty grateful that he brought that watch along. I really hoped these 2 hours would go by quickly.

My eyelids were starting to get heavy and I wanted to just lie down and close my eyes for a little bit, but I knew if I did then I would doze off, so I had to stay standing. I even refused to sit down in one of the seats in the control room. I looked at Trunks' watch on the dashboard with tired eyes. Just a couple more hours... I thought as I stifled a yawn, but my head started to hang and I slowly started to doze off even though I was still standing up.

Before I could fall asleep, however, the Dragon Radar suddenly beeped loudly, startling me and practically making me jump up into the air and waking me right up. It would do every so often, but it would go off at random times, which helped in keeping me awake and alert, of course, I also hated it since it pretty much scared me to death every time it beeped. I sighed in exhaustion and picked it up from the dashboard, rubbing my tired eyes, and looked at the signal, my heart racing a little from when it beeped and scared the heck out of me. The small blip looked like it was right in the center instead of right in front of it. I blinked and lowered the radar and peered out the window for any sign of Namek. At first, I didn't see anything, but after a few seconds of looking, a light green and white striped planet floated in space in the distance, it was just barely out of eyesight. It was approaching pretty slowly, but if I had to guess, we would reach it within a couple of hours. I almost stumbled backwards when I saw it, but I quickly balanced myself out and hurried out of the control room, feeling a sudden adrenaline rush coming on.

I half flew, half ran out of the control room and into the bedroom where Trunks was. "Hey Trunks wake up! Planet Namek's up ahead!" I said as I ran into the room, now full of energy.

Trunks groaned quietly before slowly sitting up and looking at me with tired eyes. "What?" He asked quietly, rubbing his tired eyes with his knuckle.

I rolled my eyes and jerked the blankets off the bed, he didn't have a shirt on, but, luckily for me, he did have his pants on. "Get up lazy. It's Namek, we're almost there."

He almost immediately jumped out of the bed and onto his feet. "Why didn't you say so?" Now he sounded wide awake and ready to take on almost anything as he ran past me and out of the room. I watched him with a blank expression on my face before slapping my forehead with my hand and following him into the control room, shaking my head slowly. Trunks was already in his seat and setting our course for Namek when I walked in so just I shrugged and sat down in my seat, watching Planet Namek as it slowly got bigger. Trunks looked at me curiously. "Aren't you tired?"

I looked at him for a moment, now that I actually thought about it, I was starting to get tired again, the adrenaline rush from earlier fading away. I smiled a little bit. "Yeah, a little."

"Then you can go rest until we get there, I'll take care of landing the ship when we get close."

I looked at him with a lifted eyebrow. "Are you sure?"

He smiled at me and nodded. "'Course I'm sure. Go ahead and rest, I'll take care of things here."

I shrugged and stood up. "If you insist." I said before making my way to the bedroom. Once I reached the bed, I just fell on top of the bed, pulled the blanket over me, and let myself fall into a deep sleep.
