(A/N: Consider these next chapters my my New Years gift to you guys :D!)

After setting foot through the odd portal in his room, Katsuya reappeared in the middle of a dark, silenced forest staring suspiciously at the dense setting, "Okay, I'm here now," He said irritably, "so when will my questions be answered? How will you convince me that you're not lying Elena?" Katsuya said the last part sarcastically.

There was no answer.

"Elena?" Katsuya started turning his head in all directions, "Are you there?"

Still no answer.

Katsuya, now pissed, rolled his eyes and said, "Are you serious?" He throws his hands up, "Goddamn it! This lady took me to some place and now I don't even know how to get home! Thanks a lot, Elena! Thank you!"

He begins pacing back and forth through the forest with an angered expression, "Damn it!" He shouted while smacking the side of his fist to a tree. All of a sudden the ground began shaking from a distance,

"What…?" Katsuya held on to the tree until the shaking stopped. "What the-?"

He felt a something touch his foot and looked down; there by his shiny black converses was an odd bug with a shell on its back. It screeched and the shell began blinking. Katsuya, realizing what the signal meant, started running as fast as his feet could carry him, with the bug following close behind. He pushed past branches and crunched twigs hoping to get away from the odd little insect chasing him with fast feet.

In a few seconds the shell on the bug's back started blinking faster before it shrilled and finally exploded, hurling Katsuya off his feet, causing him to scream. He landed hard on the ground and started rolling down a dirt filled hill getting all kinds of grime in his mouth and face.

When he finally stopped Katsuya quickly began wiping the soil off his face and shirt, spitting some out from his mouth and becoming more and more angry at the fact that his white polo's were ruined.

"Thirty-five bucks down the drain…"

From a distance he could hear other explosions and screams, "Of all the places I could be right now, she just had to put me in the middle of a freaking battle field?! Great choice, Elena!" Katsuya thought sarcastically,

"I have led you to the middle of a battle field, Katsuya…" Elena said in the boy's mind.

"Yeah, no dip Elena, I kinda figured that out myself!" He shouted angrily unaware of the large shadow appearing behind him. Katsuya turned around only to notice a large dark creature with a black and white mask on its face and black horns on the side,

"Oh my-."

The creature screeched loudly in his face. Katsuya screamed before bursting out into a sprint. As the monster chased him Katsuya yelled out a barrage of curse words, mainly, "Shit!"

It wasn't long before it jumped on his back and slammed him to the ground, nearly knocking the wind out of him. The dark monster pounced again, but this time Katsuya thought fast and sent his left foot into its chest, knocking it away.

Katsuya stood up as the creature charged back again,

"Bring it!" He thought and charged forwards as well. The little demon brought its claw up to Katsuya's face but he blocked it with the back of his fist and sent a punch into the monster's stomach. It screeched loudly in pain and backed away slightly,

"Come on!" Katsuya said while gesturing with both his hands and hopping up and down like a boxer.

The monster stood back up again and snarled, "Tamē ghaṇā majabūta ēka chō."

Katsuya looked at the demon with a confused face, "What?" he asked, "I don't understand gibberish. Speak English!"

In a flash the masked creature charged at Katsuya again, this time it extended its claws and began hurling itself towards the unarmed boy, "Well that's different…" Katsuya thought to himself.

s hands in a deadlock. The creature kept trying to break the twig with its long dark nails, s face.

"Get… off!" The boy strained to say,

"Kyārēya nahīṁ!" The monster shrieked in its native language. Suddenly

CRACK!

The pressure of the demon claws broke the stick into a thousand bits and pieces. Katsuya thinking quickly on his feet and tried running away until he suddenly felt a sharp stabbing pain go through his right arm.

He screamed loudly in pain before nearly falling to his knees. The raven haired boy looked at his injured arm and saw three long bloody scratch marks,

"Crap, he got me!" Katsuya thought to himself.

He covered the injury with his left hand before struggling to get to his feet, but then the monster jumped up and landed in front of him, "Tamē mr̥ta, liṭala bōya chō." It spoke before kicking Katsuya in the chest and knocking him on his back. Katsuya tried scooting backwards, away from the demon until his back hit a tree trunk. The demon cornered him and Katsuya could have sworn he heard it licking its chops. The sound just grossed him out in itself. The masked monster raised its long claws up in the air, " Guḍabāya sē..." Then it began lowering them.

With his life flashing through his eyes, Katsuya saw everything going in slow motion, "Is this the end?" He thought to himself, "Is he really going to kill me?"

Suddenly his eyebrows furrowed and his pupils changed to red, "No," Katsuya clenched his right fist into a ball and all of a sudden the ruby on his ring began glowing a bright red, "I won't let him beat me." He uncurled the fist of his injured arm and sent the palm of his hand towards the creature's chest,

"Get away from me!"

When he hit his target, surprisingly, fire shot out of his hand and sent the creature flying back into a tree branch. Katsuya's eyes stopped glowing as he looked at his hand in shock, "Holy…crap." He said in astonishment.

Without thinking twice he ran away from the masked monster and hid behind a larger tree, "What happened?"

"You have unleashed your kinetic power."

"Kinetic power?" Katsuya looked at his ring, "Is that what it's called?"

Yes, your kinetic power is a certain element which you can control with the help of your ring's birthstone, your birthdate, and the season you were born in," Elena's voice rang, "For example, your birthday, Katsuya, is on July 27th, your birthstone is ruby, and you were born in the summer, so that make you have-."

"The element of fire," Katsuya breathed out, "Wow…"

"Huṁ tamanē maḷē, spēka!"

"Shit!" Katsuya whispered. He stood up to run further but then the monster landed in front of him again. It smacked him in the face and sent Katsuya stumbling, but luckily he kept his balance.

The creature cackled in enjoyment, but then his enjoyment was cut short with Katsuya's foot in his gut.

It fell on its back with a loud thud as Katsuya readied himself for another punch, in a karate stance.

"Tē śā māṭē kāma nathī?" The creature mumbled as it stood up again and charged for the boy. Katsuya smirked and sent a punch towards the monster's way, allowing a gust of fire to pour from his fists.

"Luckily for me, I'm a fast learner, ya creep." The raven haired boy swanked to his opponent.

The beast dodged his attack and continued charging for him, "Tē mahēnata karī jō'ī'ē! " It screeched in its native tongue as he tried swiping his claws at Katsuya with no avail.

The teen kept using the back of his fists to block the attacks, true he did get a few small scratches but it was nothing to fret over in his mind.

The creature started jumping back when Katsuya unleashed two more fire balls from his hands and feet and it shrieked, showing off its sharp fangs, "Why won't you die?!"

"Yeah, right back at ya, Jack Napier!" Katsuya called up towards the top of the tree, "I still can't understand that gibberish you're speakin'!"

He watched as the creature turned behind him.

"What are you lookin' at?"

It then looked at Katsuya, hissed, and jumped off the tree, vanishing into the night.

"Yeah, that's right! Run your punk ass back to Mommy!" Katsuya mocked as he began doing a mimic neck moving. "Bet you scared, huh? You scared?"

CRACK!

Katsuya looks towards the direction that the creature left with curiosity. Suddenly the ground began rumbling, "Oh sh-."

In a flash a whole army of different creatures appeared before him, spears and all kinds of weapons were drawn and held close to his neck. Katsuya held up his hands, "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! I didn't do anything! I'm the victim here!"

" Tamē kōṇa chō? Tamārā vēpāra rājya! "

The teen, still confused, shook his head and said, "I don't understand what you're saying! Speak English!"

"Katsuya!" Shouted a female voice in the background.

The boy watched with great curiosity as an object pushed past the crowd of creatures saying, "Manē bahānuṁ! Manē badala khēda chē!"

A dark skinned girl was soon revealed herself in front of all the odd beings. "Katsuya, I can't believe it's you!"

"Kia?" Katsuya looked at her with shock and confusion, "What are you doing here?"

"I should be asking you the same th-. Oh my god, you're hurt!" Kia pointed at his arm, which had long, slightly bloody, scratch marks.

"Oh this! It's nothing, I'm fine…"

"Tamē phaḷanī khīra! Tēnē dūra mēḷavō, rājakumārī! Kula cēpa karavāmāṁ āvī chē!" One of the odd looking beings, that was in the form of a pink elephant with all kinds of tribal markings on his body, shouted from afar and pointed.

"Yo! We're talking! Don't interrupt, Dumbo!" Katsuya shouted back.

Kia then turned around and said, "Tē Reynaldo āra ōlarā'iṭa chē! Huṁ ā maḷī chē!"

She turned back to the surprised boy.

"What?" She asked,

He turned his head slightly to the side with a serious, yet unsure expression. "I'm not even gonna ask how you can understand them."

Kia' face turned to shock, "You mean you can't?"

Katsuya shook his head,

"Well, Reynaldo said that you'd been infected," She pointed to his arm, "My guess is by the Iblis' claws."

"An 'Iblis'? What's an Iblis?" Katsuya then thought about the masked creature that he fought with earlier, "So that's what they're called…" He whispered to himself.

"It doesn't matter now, Katsuya, we have to get that wound wrapped up, and fast! The poison usually takes around three minutes to seep in."

"Three minutes? But I got scratched about five minutes ago, so that leaves two minutes, and the poison hasn't seemed to come to effect."

Suddenly he felt a large migraine hit his head and he clutched it in pain and groaned, "And there it is."

He began to lose his stance and wobbled, sweat coating his forehead,

"Katsuya!" Kia said as she grabbed hold of him before he could fall. Katsuya's vision and hearing became garbled as he looked at Kia, "Katsuya, you're gonna be okay. Just hang in there!" She turned around to one of the creatures and said, "Samabaḍī ṭu manē bākīnā gharamāṁ mārā mitra vicāra madada! Havē!"

One of the beings put his hands on Kia's shoulders, "Prathama, huṁ tēnē pharī navuṁ banāvavuṁ paḍaśē. Parantu tamē prinsēsa pāchā ūbhā hōya chē." Kia nods and stands up.

The creature takes a small canteen and pours a forest green liquid inside of a small cup.

"Ahīṁ," it spoke holding up the drink to Katsuya's lips.

The boy weakly took it into his sweaty, shaky hands and began drinking the swill. The taste that hit his tongue was more sour then a Warhead and quite bitter, he tried pushing it away but the creature's large hands wouldn't let him,

" Pīvānā rākhō!" It commanded.

When Katsuya finished with the unknown beverage he felt his whole world begin spinning,

"Cintā karaśō nahīṁ, tamē āra ōlarā'iṭa haśō..." The creature's voice echoed.

Katsuya heard its native tongue fading away and being replaced with English. "…you can understand if you choose to listen."

"I…can…" He breathed out before blacking out.
