"Beep! Beep! Beep!" I groaned. It was my first day back to school, but I smiled and said to myself: "Caroline and Bonnie will be
to call up the fact that they probably have been missing me like crazy!" I stretched, got off my bed and walked to my
dresser to do my hair, before Care could freak out about it. I frowned when I saw how much of a mess I looked like. I whispered
"Care is going to kill me!" I got myself cleaned and dressed, went down stairs to find Aunt Jenna making breakfast. "Good morning,
Elena…Where's your brother?" she said as she put some eggs and bacon on a plate for me. I sighed and said "He locked himself in
the bathroom again." I sat at the counter and ate while Jenna went upstairs to get Jeremy. Just then the doorbell rang, "I got it!" I
yelled, I went to the door and opened it. "Good morning, Elena." "Damon!" I said, I shut the door but Damon pushed on it, he was
strong, I could tell you that"Go away!" I screamed. Jenna came running down stairs, "Elena! What's wrong?" she came and grabbed
my arms, pulling me away from the door…away from Damon. He was still standing in the same spot, he hadn't even moved pass the
threshold when pushing the door. "Make him leave." I said, she looked at Damon and said, "I think you should go now, hon. You can
come help when Elena's not around." Bonnie came up the steps as Damon walked away, she looked at me, then him, then back at
me, "What's up? Oh, I'm taking you to school, by the way." She said with a smirk. I gave Jenna a look that said "we were going to
talk tonight." I followed Bonnie down the steps and to her car. We drove in silence to school. I looked out the window and
remembered the last time I has been in a car with my parents…the night they died. "Okay, tell me what's wrong," Bonnie said, I
looked at her, "With Damon, I mean." I sighed and said "Nothing, I just don't like him, at all." Bonnie gave me one of her looks, the
one that says "I know your lying, spit it out!" I pretended no to see it.
