Disclaimer: Nope, I don't own it
"So what do you think we're dealing with. A shifter?"
"Most likely." Sam agreed. They had guns and silver knives laying on the beds in front of them.
"I just realized that this is the nicest place I've slept in for years..." Dean said looking around the room, "and I'm not about to spend it with you." Dean smirked.
"Well I doubt Caeli will let you anywhere near her, let alone spend the night" Sam smiled at Dean's annoyed look.
"I don't mean her Sammy. It's Vegas baby! I can get with who ever I want, whenever I want... wherever I want." Dean winked suggestively at Sam, earning him bitch face number 94. Before Dean could continue to gross out Sam, someone began to pound on their door. Dean walked over and glance through the peep hole to check who it was. He stepped back (while slyly fixing his hair and adjusting his shirt) and opened the door to let in a still slightly pissed off Caeli.
"You look nice." Sam commented at Caeli's show girl costume.
"Thanks. It's kinda tight in some awkward places. Do I look like I belong in Vegas?"
"Definitely." Sam assured her as Dean stood there dumb struck. Caeli didn't even bother to turn around as she told Dean to stop staring at her ass.
"You've got nothing worth staring at." Dean grumbled.
"So everyone knows what, the plan is correct?" Caeli asked as she adjusted her head piece.
"I don't want to be stuck in this get up any longer than I have to. Next time one of you can be the decoy."
"Whatever. Do you think you can stall the manager long enough for us to look around? We don't want any more sweet showgirls getting massacred." Dean said sarcastically
"I can do my job just fine," Caeli snapped, "as long as you don't screw up yours." With that she turned and walked out of the room.
"And stop staring at my ass!" Caeli yelled over her shoulder. Dean smirked and shook his head, before grabbing his weapons and stalking out of the room.
"So you boys are her manager?" asked the large sweaty man that was the manager of the show Caeli was substituting for.
"Sure are." Sam replied acting like he knew what he was doing.
"Never meet a show girl with a manager before." the manager questioned suspiciously, squinting his eyes a little as he looked up at Sam.
"Well she does, and for good reason." Sam retorted, standing up straighter and glaring at the little sweaty man in front of him. The man grumbled then stuck out his hand.
"Mark Douglas."
"Sam Smith."
"Well now that the meet and greet is over, get your pretty little ass backstage and start learning the routine. Your on in fifteen minutes." Caeli smiled sweetly and walked past them to where the other girls were getting ready.
"Stop staring at her ass." Dean growled at Mr. Douglas, who flinched and then scurried off in the direction of the girls.
"Ugh, I hate guys like him." Dean complained as he and Sam walked towards Caeli.
"I'm pretty sure you were doing some staring earlier as well." Sam chuckled at the annoyed look on Dean's face as he was reminded.
"You guys know what you're looking for?" Caeli asked Sam, as the guys glanced around, determining where to look first.
"Ya, we got it covered, don't forget to ask the girls about anything suspicious."
"Will do." Caeli walked back over as the other began to line up to get on stage.
"Too bad we're going to miss this…" Dean sighed; staring at the skimpy outfits that each was wearing.
"Come on, let's start with the dressing room now that it's empty." Dean and Sam scanned the dressing room and prop room but neither had any traces of supernatural activity. Mr. Douglas's office seemed like the only reasonable place left to check.
"We'll have to wait till later to come back and check it." Dean nodded in agreement.
"So if anyone asks we'll say I forgot something." Caeli whispered as they groped their way to the manager's office in the pitch black of the backstage.
"In the manager's office?" Dean asked sarcastically.
"Shut up both of you." Sam hissed as he quietly tried to door and found it locked. He knelt down and picked the lock, opening the door slowly after he heard the faint sound of the lock clicking. They all slide carefully inside the door, shutting it softly behind them. Dean flipped the lights and they looked around.
"What an idiot…" Dean said, shaking his head. Sam and Caeli nodded in agreement as they all looked at the recently shed skin of Mark Douglas.
"He must have figured out that we were hunters and figured he had to change skins quickly before we figured out it was him." Sam said as he picked at the gooey mess that was covering the floor.
"Well let's go see if we can sweet talk the security guards into letting us bower their monitors till we find a guy with silver eyes." Caeli sighed, than noticed the look Sam and Dean were giving her.
"Fine! I'll do the sweet talking but you two are doing it next time."
"There are way to many people…" Sam huffed in frustration. Caeli had easily persuaded the guards into letting them have a "little look-see" at the security footage of the hotel and casino.
"Wait a second," Dean said tensing up, pointing at a monitor on the far left, "see that guy in the empty hallway, wait for him to turn around again." Just as he finished the sentence, the man turned quickly walked past the camera but it was all they boys needed to confirm that he was their shifter.
"Let's get him!" Caeli almost growled, "He grabbed my pretty little ass." With that she bounded out of the room towards that section of the hotel Dean had spotted him in.
Dean and Sam waited at the opposite end of the corridor as Caeli emerged from the other side, acting as a distraction. She stopped to ask the man if he knew directions to a show while Sam and Dean crept silently behind him. Just as they were almost behind him, the man turned to point and noticed the glint of Deans knife out of the corner of his eye. He shoved Caeli against the wall and began to run down the corridor but Dean took a running jump and tackled him to the floor. He punched the shifter in the face
"That's for the girls you killed." then he stabbed him in the chest,
"That's for grabbing her ass." he growled then shoved the knife the rest of the way in. Dean stood and help Caeli up from were he had knocked her over.
"Thanks," Caeli said softly, then slapped Dean lightly across the face.
"That's for staring at my ass," she said, then kissed him and went to pull back, but Dean stopped her and deepened the kiss till she gently pushed him away.
"And that's for defending my ass." Caeli blushed slightly and looked quickly at the ground but then smiled at Dean as he entwined his fingers with hers.
"Wow…" Sam said looking back and forth between the two of them.
"You'll have to excuse my idiot brother," Dean said looking sadly at Sam, "he's still coming to terms with the fact that he never gets laid." Caeli shook her head sadly then laughed with Dean as Sam shot them bitch face number sixty.
"Well now that are job here is done, lets head to the Roadhouse for some R&R and maybe find a new hunt. Dean you can driver for the first twelve hours." Sam huffed as he roughly brushed past his laughing brother.
"Whatever bitch," Dean chuckled, then smiling at Caeli "I have someone I'd love to get to know better in the next twelve hours.
"You better start driving then" Caeli smiled as she headed after Sam, her hand still entwined with Deans.
