I own only the OCs!
Read this part! Order from author.
Now, before I continue with this story, I'd like to note that I have been reading other fan fics with Bunnymund in it for inspiration. And I have a very specific question. Actually, it's more of a request.
Can somebody explain to me what the heck is with the pairings JackRabbit/FrostBunny/ Preggy Jack/Bunny?
THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONE PAIRING I REALLY DISPISE! (However, some the people who write fan fictions about the pairing are geniuses with great stories. I still think the pairing sucks though. The authors are brilliant.) Somebody please explain to me why people would pair up a dead teenage boy with a insert cussing word here, you may choose to your opinion Australian rabbit the size of a basketball player and throws boomerangs! And even more, there are some who even have the dead teenage boy get pregnant! (Side Note: I have read one fan fiction that had Bunny pregnant.)
Why would anyone have Jack Frost, a "teenager" (Because some will make the argument that he's really 317), who is technically dead, pregnant!? With Bunny, I could understand to some degree. He's spring, I can go with that. But a insert cussing word here boy granted immortality after dying!?
Here are the reasons why this idea would not work:
1)Jack died before becoming a spirit, therefore making no sense to him even being able to reproduce.
2)Jack is a winter spirit. Winter is usually the time of year where everything quiets down, or "dies" before being "reborn" in the spring.
3)Jack would need female organs to even be able to give birth to the child!
4)Even if he did have female organs, I'm pretty sure that he would still not be able to give birth due to reason 1 and 2 above!
If you manage to pull this idea off brilliantly, I highly doubt Jack would want to go through all that again.
Leopard the Warrior of Africa
Bunny slowly opened his spring green eyes, his head hurting beyond belief. He slighting perked his ears at the sounds that were coming into focus with the images that were clearing up.
"He's alive!"
"Of course he's alive, you idiot. He's immortal."
"I know, but Pitch and I had a bet on his outcome."
"Jack, why did you have a bet on Bunny in this situation?"
"No, not on if he would live or not! You see, I betted that he would have a broken rib or two, and Pitch betted that all his limbs would be broken."
"You. Are. A. Senseless. Dumb head."
"Cupid!"
"Ow… my head…" Bunny moaned out, trying to sit up before feeling a shot full of pain that made him hiss. He felt heavy hands, obviously North's, make him lay down. The Pooka looked around, his vision starting to clear up as he noticed that he was in one of the emergency rooms at North's workshop. He also noticed that most of his chest and arms were covered in bandages. Almost everyone was in the room and around the bed, the people missing being Roux, Rabbie, MiM, and Tooth. Besides that, everyone else was here, even his egg minions, Jamie and the other believers (minus Sophie), and Roux's foxes. "What happen' mates?" he asked, his ears now on alert.
"Summor sent you over the cliff," Pitch said, sitting in a chair while reading a black covered book. "North managed to catch you in the sleigh half way down. Roux nearly went into a rage against Summor." Bunny closed his eyes for a moment, remembering falling off the cliff and the great thud of wood that made him fall into unconscious.
"Where is she? Roux, I mean."
"In another room. Tooth and MiM are helping her with cleanin' up the new pup," Nandalia said, walking towards the slightly opened door. Bunny eyes shot opened for a moment. Rabbie hadn't made it through the battle. Koleyn climbed up onto the bed and looked at Bunny from the headboard.
"What happene' between th' two of ya' in the cave?" the snow fox asked, her frosty ice narrowed at the larger Australian. Bunny blinked in surprised. "Excuse me?"
"Ya heard me, rabbit. When yar able to get a look at our new little lad of a brother, ya going to see just wha' I mean."
…..
Roux groomed her new kit before curling up next to it. Aileen was sleeping softly, nuzzling up to the Guardian's fur. Roux looked down at her in confusion before making sure Tooth and MiM had left. Maybe she didn't have as much control on how her command leaders looked as she once thought. She glanced at Aileen again.
The new (future) command leader of Roux's foxes of spring had a bluish pelt with a white underbelly, legs, and muzzle, and had little darker gray-blue tints on her back. She looks so tiny when compared to the red fur she was next to that Roux was almost sure she could hold her with only one paw. Roux sighed and laid her head down, curling her tail around Aileen protectively before hearing somebody entering the room. Lifting her head again, the giant vixen perked her ears at the sight of Bunny limping on all fours towards her. The Pooka looked at Aileen carefully before looking at Roux.
"So this little ankle biter is the reason why Koleyn wanted to know what went on between us?"
Roux huffed out slightly, being a bit amused before looking at the kit. "Aye, I suppose. It's a first though." Bunny stared at her before returning his gaze to Aileen. "You usually had control on what they looked like?" he said, nudging the small kit a tiny bit. Roux moved her eyes to him, thinking hard on how to respond.
"When Seamus and Nandalia came, I had thought of a summer Lokcore pup, gray as we usually are at that age and a little mini me without all these markings," she said quietly, laying her head down. "With Koleyn, I had gazed and tried to memorize all those little ice prints that Jack had made in the early winter."
"What about Rabbie?"
"What we Lokcores are usually born lookin' as. Dark gray little bundles of fur," she said, a small content smile on her face. Bunny moved his eyes to her now, her ear perking painfully at this.
He said, "What about you? Didn't you mention back in the cave about all the being born with markings and the rare black fur and red fur of Lokcores? If normal Lokcores such as those in that clan are born a dark gray," Bunny paused for a moment before continuing, "then what about black Lokcores and red Lokcores?"
Roux refused to make eye contact as she spoke. "First off, if you're be born wit' markings, you're born wit' markings. Second off, Lokcore adult colors come in after the kits' third spring. Black Lokcores are born such a dark gray, they're almost black. And they're always male. Red Lokcores are almost always female, and are born white. Chances of any red Lokcores that are lads are about 1 in 9,999, mate."
"So," Bunny began looking back at the bluish little fox kit as she sniffed over to him, "there was a time where you had pink fur?"
SMACK!
"No, mate. When we get our adult fur, it looks like we're molting like birds. And you're lucky that was your head I tail smacked."
Bunny made a face at the vixen before placing his head down on the bed to be eye leveled with Aileen. "Back on the topic of your control of your little command leaders, if you thought all of that with all the others, does that mean that if you were thinking of me while this little one came…"
"Shut up. I was worried."
Sorry, for the long wait, and also….. I have no comment on this. Please review.
