Tobias pulled away, chuckling quietly. "I love you too, Tris." His eyes locked with mine.

And just like that, nothing else mattered. I grabbed his shirt, pulling him closer and pressed my lips to his. Tobias held the back of my head deepening the kiss and I wrapped my arms around his neck, tangling my fingers through his hair. Pushing me back, Tobias pressed his hands to the window behind me, locking me in his embrace.

It was as if from all the arguing, this is what we needed. But then, all of our problems shouldn't be solved with a kiss, that's not right, is it?

I pulled away, my breathing heavy and looked up at him.

"Tobias, I-"

I was cut off by the constant ringing of my phone. I sighed and picked up.

"Hello?"

"Miss Prior? I'm calling about your house. Everything has been repaired and clean. You can go back home."

Caught off guard, I hesitated to reply.

"Miss?"

"Sorry. Uh, that's great. Thank you so much."

I hung up and slowly looked at Tobias who was already looking at me.

"I can finally get out of your hair." I joked. "The flood has been drained from my house and I can move back in."

I faked a smile, unsure of how this really made me feel.

"You're going back?" Tobias questioned

I laughed softly. "Well, yeah. I cant live with you forever, Tobias."

He frowned. "I was kinda hoping you would." He said the words so quietly, I almost didn't hear him.

A smile crept across my lips. "Are you serious."

"Did you not hear me tell you I love you." He chuckled.

I laughed. "But I thought- We were arguing? You couldn't possibly want to live with that."

Tobias laughed and kissed the corner of my mouth. "Yeah, we were arguing, but I only said what I did because I care about you. It doesn't change anything."

When I didn't reply, he continued.

Whispering, he spoke. "But you're the one I want to take home with me every night."

I smiled instantly. "Can we please just forget everything that happened? I know you were trying to help, and I'm so lucky to have you." I said while gliding my arms around his neck. "But you're all I need."

Tobias looked into my eyes and nodded. "Lets go home."

As we were about to walk through the door I glanced over at Tobias. He was discreetly covering his mouth, trying to hide a smirk. I raised my eyebrows at him.

"What?" I asked slowly.

He shook his head. "Nothing."

I threw my bag over my shoulder and slid the key into the door, throwing it open.

"SURPRISE!"

I jumped back in shock, landing safely in Tobias' arms. Looking up at him, he had a cheesy grin plastered on his face.

Christina came running over to me. "Soo, are you surprised?"

"Of course I am!" I shoved her lightly. "I cant believe you done this."

"Your operation was a opportunity for a party, do you think I would miss that?"

I shook my head. "I guess I should have known better." I smirked, then whirling around on Tobias I scowled at him. "You knew about this?"

"Of course I knew, this is my house." Then he leaned in close. "Or should I say our house."

I smiled and kissed him quickly before rushing off to greet everybody. It didn't take long before Zeke had gotten the alcohol out and party games. I tried to watch what I drunk as I didn't want anything to happen like last time.

"Tris!"

I looked through the crowd as I heard my name being shouted. Spotting Christina, I walked to her as she beckoned me.

"You playing?"

I looked down at the polka dot mat on the floor. Twister. I nodded then spun around as I noticed Tobias.

"You're playing too."

He laughed. "Well, okay then."

Within minutes we a mass of tangled limbs and loud laughter.

"Lyn, right arm, blue." Christina shouted over the music.

"Are you freaking serious?" Lyn moaned while stretching her arm out.

"You're leg moved from the spot then, you're out!" Christina giggled.

"What?!" As Lyn protested, Zeke underneath lost his balance from her sudden movement and fell down.

Tobias burst out laughing to which Zeke growled, tugging on Tobias' arm. He came crashing down on me, knocking me face down on the floor.

"Ouch." I groaned, laughing.

Tobias flipped me over and kissed me on the lips. "Sorry." He whispered.

Before I could respond, Christina was tugging on my arm. "Okay, we don't need to witness a make out session."

I blushed and pulled Tobias to one side. "If they don't want to witness it, then fine." I smirked, leading him down the hallway that was currently empty.

He backed me up against the wall and pressed his lips to mine. Immediately my arms went to the back of his neck and my hand to his hair. Tobias slid his hands around my waist, pressing himself closer to me. I broke away for a second to lead him into his bedroom for more privacy. But now I guess I should say our bedroom.

He lifted me onto the bed and I lay with him hovering over me, planting kisses on my shoulder.

In this moment I felt happiest. To have supportive friends and the person I truly love, here with me.
