After the death of the other Auditore men, Ezio faces a great responsibility. He must join the order of assassins to continue his father's work and avenge the deaths of his family. A face from a past event meets his again and shows him the ways of the assassin. The two slowly grow a relationship. EzioxOC; Rated M for violence, language, and sexual content. I don't own AC2.

14. LAST UPDATE!

Hello everybody!

Sorry for this terribly late update.

I am rewriting the story which will be separate from this one, which can be found on my profile (it's called Ophelia the White (Ver. 2)).

The new story will be written strictly in first person and will also contain some different plot elements that I regretfully didn't include in this story.

I want to apologize for my lack of updating; I go to school full time with three very difficult majors and a time-consuming minor and also have a job. My time has been very scare and limited.

But anyway, I have pre-written many of the new chapters, so it's a matter of posting them and writing the new chapters consecutively. let em know if you'd like to have all of the new-old chapters put up at once or if you'd like me to stagger them every few days to create some suspense.

Also, the story will arrive at the same place that I left it. There will just be some more... substance to it. I found some holes in the story when I FINALLY revisited it and think I found some pretty juicy stuff to put in their places.

So in conclusion, I am terribly sorry for my negligence in regards to this fic, but I hope to make it up to all of you with a much improved story.
