A/N Sorry I didn't say this before but I DO NOT OWN MAXIMUM RIDE! JP does I wish I did but I don't so... read on my Flock mates!

Max POV

We all ran upstairs to pack our back packs. When I got to my room I digged through my err cleanish- chough err worst looking closets in the world- and finally came across my blood splattered backpack.

Mental Note get new backpacks.

After I packed my backpack I went to check on the rest of the flock.

Iggy and Gazzy were packing there clothes in one backpack so the other pack was filled with explosives. That's a good idea because explosives in each bag was a good idea (NEVER give two boys who love explosives a box of matches to hold...EVER!).

I silently walked out and into Nudge's and Angel's room.

Nudge had a billion pink and purple bags spread all over her bed.

One for makeup another for hair clips and another for nail polish.

Gosh where did she even those bags?! But I got to say even we are on the run she looks good! I haven't quite mastered that, but I don't really give a crap what I look like.

Angel was packing her shirts. She was picked up a blood splattered shirt also just like everyone else so far. Hmmm we really need new clothes.

I walked out of the room and down to the kitchen, Iggy was packing Fangs bag with little drops of heaven FOOD!

Some homemade granola and some trail mix was always awesome for us.

Fang was sitting at the table watching me.

"So Chicago," he asked.

"Yep you good with that?" I asked starting reconsider Chicago.

"Oh yeah yea,that's fine but we have to start being on our toes again."

He leaned in for a kiss. I gladly returned the kiss just as the flocked barged in.

No alone time... normal life starts now.

"Okay I am going to write a note to mom and then we will go to Ella's school then we will on the way," I said cheerfully.

Everyone one was glad to be on the run again. Staying in one place was weird to us but it was a nice change. But we couldn't do it forever.

Dear Mom,

Thanks for letting us stay but we are going to take off. We will be back for Christmas hopefully.

"Okay lets hit Ella's school then-"

"TO CHICHGO!" Everyone but Fang and I cheered.

Iggy POV

When Max got everyone up and away I started to feel really guilty about leaving again!

I mean come on! We were only there about a month and I never got the spend any time with her. Max said we will be back for Christmas if all goes well, so I hope I can get Angel to think of a present for her.

D to the U to the H! Iggy I think its sooo sweet that you feel that way about Ella. She loves you, Iggy.

No it cool I do anything for love.. OMG I feel like Nudge.

I glanced over, she was smiling.

Oh my god. Angel said that Ella loved me! Oh MY GOD OH MY GOD.

I fell the same way and -

"IGGY!" Everyone screamed.

"Yo Ig you okay? You were like out of it 1) We have been talking to you this whole time and 2) We are here." Max said with a hint of worry in her voice.

"Yea.. yup-err- lets go." I said sounding unconvincing as ever.

I hope Ella's not mad at me.

Max POV

Hmm... something's up with Iggy.

Reading my mind Angel said-

No Max, its okay he is fine he is just sad about leaving Ella again.

I looked her way a gave her a half smile and a half frown. She nodded.

We landed by a payphone and I gave Gazzy two quarters.

"Your time to shine Gazzy," I said with a half smile.

The Gasman ran up to the phone, put the quarters in and dialed Ella's school.

"Hello?" A board man said on the other line. We all gathered around Gazzy and listened with our raptor hearing.

"Hello, this is Doctor Martinez, Ella Martinez's mother," Gazzy said with my mom's voice, I swear this kid gets better and better.

"Oh, hello , can, we do something for you today?" The man said way to cheerfully.

"Its Doctor Martinez and yes I will be at the school in about 5 minutes I am picking Ella up early today." Good god, Gazzy you know my mom so well!

"Yes-yes DOC-tor Martinez. She will be up in the office." The man popped the Doc in doctor and now talked annoyed like now.

"Thank you." Gazzy said as he hung up the phone.

"Well done Gaz," Nudge said giving him a round of applause. He gave a short bow as I rolled my eyes.

"Come along now, children " Gazzy said in my mothers voice.

After a minute walk to her school I turned at the doors and glanced at Fang and Angel.

"Okay Angel go in with me and Fang and talk them in to take Ella. Iggy watch the kids Kay?" I said walking inside.

Right when I walked in a deep shiver ran down my spine.

The first time I met Ella was here... I tucked in my wings tighter than they should be.

Fang and I meet eyes. He looked right through me feeling the same I feel I could see it his eyes. I locked hands with him and he rubbed my wing right were the bullet scar was...

We got to the office and I saw Ella to my right. She looked confused than happy so see us, she started to get up and I held up my finger showing her to wait.

She nodded her head at me.

I turned the front desk.

"What are you kids doing out of class!" A short, no hearted man said, he had a bald head with sweat making it shiny.

Angel looked at him with wide eyes in concentration.

"We need Ella, " Angel said way to sweetly.

The bald man looked confused well nodding his head.

"Umm..we can't let-" Angel tilted her head down further, "Okay..." He said hesitantly. "Go a head then."

I headed out of the office and everyone followed.

Ella started to talk but I interrupted, "Lets go get some grub then we will go,"

Ella looked confused but nodded as every-one cheered.
