Fang POV

Once everyone decided they wanted to eat at Whataburger, Iggy started to look so bad. We haven't even left yet and he is already love sick!

I won't admit it to him, but I feel so bad for Iggy! I get Max everyday but he only gets to see Ella if we are at mom's house.

I told him to say good bye with a kiss one she will not forget, it will be their first kiss. I hope he trust me. He needs to grab her by the waist and kiss her softly then harder. It needs to make her lips tingle with delight and get hungry for more. I am such a poet.

Max came sat down next to me at the biggest booth at Whataburger. As she climbed in after me her legs brushed against me. She is so sexy.

I looked at her ask everyone what they want to eat.

"Ella?" Max said with a pen at the ready. I bet she will give the pad to the person and leave two $50 like always.

"Um, a Whataburger Jr."

"Kay, the rest of the flock combine your while I write mine and Fangs"

She knows me so well, 3 double cheeseburgers and fries.

I looked at Angel telling Nudge what she wants. She is getting so old, everyone is.

Thanks Fang you too. Max thinks you looking more and more like a man, and a good one too. Gross! This power is a gift and a curse!

I smirked her way.

Nudge was adding the burger number while Ella and Iggy held hands and talked.

"Okay Max, 12 triple cheese burgers all with fries." Nudge said slowly. She ONLY talks slowly when she is hungry.

"Okay I going to order," Max said back but while looking at me saying come with me in her eyes.

I climbed out of the booth and followed Max.

"I Feel so bad for Ig and Ella." Max started.

"Yea me too, I am so lucky to have my babe with me all the time." I said leaning in for a kiss, she leaned in too, "You are so sexist," but she kissed me any ways. It was a long slow kiss. I swear she gets better each time.

"Ughhumm," the man 'coughed'. We broke up the kiss.

Dylan as the name time interrupted us with "Can I take your order. "

He looked up and saw Max, not from the back where I was kissing her.

"Well hello hot stuff can I help you?" My fist clenched and I out my arms around her waist showing do not, trespass on my property.

He looked uncomferble when I gave him the famous Fang Glare. He shifted feet.

"Yea here is the order list and here is the money if you need more or to give some back my booth is over there. " Max said with edge in her voice.

"Here is your cups," Dylan said looking at me then to her err . . . breast area

"Tha- HEY! DUDE! MY EYES ARE UP HERE!" Max said pointing to her eye area.

" ughh sorry" he mumble so quietly.

"Yeah, so get to work, jackass." Max said with venom dripping off every word.

He went to the back and started to fill our order. Me and Max went back to the booth.

"Nice job back their Max," I said chuckling at his face when she said jackass.

"Thanks yelling at raging teens is kind of my hobby," Max said back while grabbing my hand.

I chuckled and kissed her on the forehead and went back to the booth prepaired to help max tell Ella the news.

Max POV

What a ass hole that guy was, couldn't he tell that I was with Fang? Oh whatever.

Me and Fang come to the booth casual conversion was happing thankfully its not awkward.

"Okay order is in, it will be here in about 10 minutes." I said to the flock and Ellla.

"So, what's going on?" Ella said with question in her voice.

"I know you just wouldn't get me out of school for this." Ella said waving her hand showing what this was.

"Well," I said awkwardly. "I know we just got here but we are going to take off," I said so quitey on the last part of my sentence.

"WHAT...MAX! YOU JUST GOT HERE!" Ella said yelled

"I know but its not safe you and mom if we stick around. Some flyboys attacked us earlier today. I want you and mom to go to the beach house in Texas that the CSM gave us. We will be back for Christmas in Texas I promise. f anything comes up check Fang's blog. I want you to tell mom everything." I said at her searching her face for emotion. I came across a little chunk of hair colored from Gazzy and Iggy prank.

Iggy was now holding her hand talking to her silently.

Right then the dick Dylan came up and gave us our food.

He looked at Fang than to me and back to Fang.

"Max can I talk to you over their," he said.

I let go of Fangs hand and slowly and slowly get up. Wait! One how the hell does he know my name and two WHY! I just got food!

I glanced at Fang and he started to get out with me.

"No,I'll go," I said to Fang. I looked to the rest of my Flock and Ella and everyone was neck deep in their food at least Ella looked better but a little misty eyed about Iggy leaving.

So much for being on alert. But Angel, she was staring at me.

Go Max everything will be okay.

Why wouldn't it be Ang...? I looked at her with question.

Nothing now go. Angel gave me a look and I got up.

Dylan I walked over to the trash cans.

"Okay, start explaining dick. 1) How do know my name? and 2) Step BACK!" He was standing way to close.

"Sorry Max, umm... well forget about paying for the food" he said handing back the two $50's- " you need save your money for Chicago" Dylan told me carefully.

I looked over to the flock they were watching us intensely.

"How do the hell do you know me?! I said getting very suspicious and mad.

"That is not important just yet Maximum Ride." Dylan said and with that he took his name tag off and left.

I went down to the booth and everyone staring, they all heard part of our convosion.

Before anyone could ask me questions, I put up my hand to show we will talk later, and I dug in to my burgers.
