IGGY POV

After everyone finished their Whataburger we though we would walk Ella home. I am SO dreading said those words... Good bye.

I can't see (you know what I mean) her for, like, 3 months. Christmas is so long away.

"Iggy," Ella said with sorrow in her voice.

"Yeah?" Oh Ella im going to miss you so much!

"We are at the house, " she said back.

"Oh." I said sadly I was about to say some thing but I was cut of by her.

"Iggy I. . . I" Ella started.

Instead of finishing her sentence I could feel her lean in closer and closer and then... Kiss me for the first time... ever.

This is not at all what I expected a kiss to feel like. Her lips slowly touched mine, I leaned into her more closely. I put my hands around her waist I could feel her curves I am glad I landed on her waist...

At these moments I hate being blind Hell every moment I hate being blind. I can't see the land or the sky only in images Angel sometimes sends me. I can't see my friends faces. I can't see my love of my life's face... I can't see her face when I tell her jokes or say anything or now when I am about to say the words I feel towards Ella.

"Ella," I started breathlessly but she just kissed me harder.

"Ella," I said more forcefully.

"Yeah," she said dazed.

"Ella, before I leave I have to tell you something." I felt her nod her head ever so slightly. I wonder what she is thinking.

"Ella I-I-I- I am not happy about leaving you again. These last few times I have been at the house I feel like I know you even better. I can't imagine not seeing you for 3 months now. Yea I put up with it before but now-now Ella I - love you Ella" I wish my heart and soul she feels the same way about me.

A moment of silence.

"Iggy I love you so much too I wanted to tell you for so long but..."

She crashed her lips to mine once more. Ella twisted her head so we could kiss better. She is a great kisser. I don't want to leave I want to stay in her arms forever. Maybe I don't won't have to...

MAX POV

Jesus Christ,when we coming to the house to say good-bye and tell Total what was happing, because he just got back to the house not an hour ago ( he was visiting his wife), Ella and Iggy were talking and looking sad but now they are making out right now right here with out a care in the world.

"Look at the lovebirds," Nudge said to Gazzy and Angel pointing to the happy couple.

"God Iggy needs to slow down before he sucks Ella's face off," Gazzy said in reply.

"Well, he is not going to see Ella for what 3-4 months?" Angel said to Gazzy.

Just then Total came trotting outside.

"Where were you guys I was getting worried- whoa WHOA... finally Iggy! God it only what a year!" Total yelled running over to Angel.

Across the yard Iggy and Ella were still making out. Fang came over to me and locked hands with me.

"At least its a good goodbye." Fang said to me.

"Yeah I feel so bad now." Fang hugged me and gave me a reassuring smile.

I smiled back and kissed him and the check.

"TOTAL!" Angel screamed and gave him a hug. While I rounded everyone up minus the happy still kissing couple over, Angel filled Total in. His face looked sad.

Ella and Iggy were under a tree holding hands and talking. I will let them be together right now, they need it.

I dragged Fang over to the others and Angel questioned Total, " So are you coming with us or staying with Dr.M and Ella... Oh they are going to Texas soon too. " Total wondered off in thought.

I looked over at Fang while we sat down in between Nudge and Gazzy. He looked ready to leave.

"I think you should stay and protect Dr.M and Ella, Total" Nudge said and Gazzy and Angel nodded her head in agreement.

"Okay I will stay then they need at protector," he said bravely.

"Good!" I said at him.

Just then Iggy and Ella decided to come join us.

"Guess what Ella!" Total said excitedly.

"Hmm.." Ella dazed from Iggy.

"Im going to stay with you and your Mom for protection," He said happily.

"Oh good Im glad Total!" Ella said back.

"Okay Gang lets start and hit the rode guys," I said to the flock seeing the hurt in Ella's eyes.

Everyone cheered but Iggy.

"Speaking of that... " Iggy said carefully.

"hmm.." I said back. I wondered what he wanted now?

"I want to stay here, with Ella and , what if there is an attack I would die if something happened to Ella they need protection and I will help Total." Iggy said VERY seriously.

Everyone looked and was shocked even Ella. Iggy looked at me right into my eyes.

I thought this would happen one day. I did think that was a good idea, I would to die if something happened to Ella and my mother.

I hesitated for a while. Everyone eyed me and Iggy.

"Umm... Yes.. yes I think that a good idea. I want you to protect Ella" I said. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy except Fang, he smiled. A full smile. He knew it was a good idea also. I winked at him and turned back to Iggy.

Iggy looked shocked I don't think he think I would say yes.

Before I knew it I was embraced with Iggy. He hugged me so tightly and thanked me in my ear.

"Okay guys it time to go now." I said looking at The rest of the flock.

Ella and Iggy of course was kissing now.

"Say goodbye now," I looked to Iggy now holding Ella's hand.

After about 5 minutes of goodbyes. I walked over to Ella and gave her a hug.

"Be good to Iggy he loves to you El," I gave her another hug and a smile.

"I will see you a Christmas." I gave her a pat on the back and went over to Iggy.

"I love you Max," Ella said to me as I went to Iggy.

"Thanks Max. I will take care of them I promise. I will see you soon" I noded ang gave him a hug. He embraced me once more. I tensed I still hate hug and mushy feelings and goodbyes from anybody.

"Be good to her, she loves you Iggy." I gave him a hug and he went over to Ella and wrapped his arm around her waist.

Gazzy went over to Iggy and put all his clothes into the expulsive bag, it added a layer of protection, I am glad of that.

Iggy hugged Gazzy and say something I couldn't really make out but they laughed and Gazzy ran back to Nudge and Angel

"Bye," The flock said to Ella, Iggy and Total.

And with that we took a running start and headed North-east towards Chicago.
