When I woke up in the morning, I noticed Ichigo was still sleeping. He actually had me held to him pretty tightly with his one arm, making it impossible for me to get up or move at all. I didn't mind that though, I was still really comfortable. I just watched his face, waiting for him to wake up. His mouth was slightly open, drool hanging out of his mouth and dribbling onto his pillow. I snorted softly at that. His eyes fluttered half open and then he yawned, loudly.

"Good morning." I said to him with a smile.

He smiled sleepily. "Morning."

He released me so he could stretch his one arm out. I sat up so he could stretch his other arm, then he sat up rubbing it.

"You put my arm to sleep." He snorted.

"Whoops." I snorted back.

I proceeded to stretch my arms over my head, and they popped, loudly. Then, right before I could drop my arms, Ichigo jabbed me in the sides. I squealed and jumped, then quickly wrapped my arms around me to prevent him from doing it again. He has this smug grin on his face, and I knew he knew I was ticklish. Crap. I leaped off of the bed and then, to my dismay, tripped over myself and ended up on my face on the floor. I cursed myself silently for being such a klutz and how Ichigo would most likely use this against me sometime later on. Oh how could I let this happen to me?

I finally pushed myself up into a sitting position, and turned around. Ichigo was still sitting on the bed, just watching me. I would have thought that he would have come after me, but instead he let me make a fool out of myself. That's embarrassing. I felt my face heat up so I bowed my head, letting my hair fall in front of my face to hide the fact that I was blushing. It was embarrassing. I hated making a fool out of myself, especially in front of Ichigo. That was even worse, although I really doubted that he cared…or noticed.

"You alright?" I heard him ask.

"Fine, just being a little klutzy, apparently." I said, then hiccupped. Perfect way to top off the morning.

"That's cute." He softly snorted.

I felt my face get even hotter. I didn't know why I was acting like this. Maybe it was just from the embarrassment from falling on my face. After all, it was kinda pathetic that I tripped over myself getting out of bed.

"How was that cute? That was pathetic. I mean, who trips and falls on their face getting out of bed?" I snorted.

"You do apparently."

I scooted over, and apparently just in time too, because Ichigo's dad came crashing in, his foot aimed at Ichigo's face.

"GOOD MORNING ICHIGO!"

Ichigo instantly got a pissed look, grabbed his dad's foot and thrust him to the ground, then kneed him in the stomach and elbowed him in the face, before finally just walking away from his dad, leaving him groaning and rubbing his face on the ground.

"That's gotten so annoying, old man." Ichigo growled at him.

"Have to keep you on your toes Ichigo." Isshin said, his voice muffled because of his hands.

"Well if you hadn't noticed you about bowled my girlfriend over." Ichigo snapped back at his father. "That's why I told you to knock it off!"

"I didn't think she'd be sleeping in here!"

Ichigo's face actually turned a little red. "Still doesn't mean you should wake me up with a kick to the face. You're lucky she was on the floor and not on my bed, otherwise you would probably be even more beat up."

Isshin finally sat up, still rubbing his nose, which was bleeding pretty badly. "Sorry Saru, if I had known you were in here, I wouldn't have done that."

"You could have figured it out when we came home last night." Ichigo was still upset.

"It's fine." Is all I said.

"Alright, dad, out please." Ichigo pointed at the door. "Can you let Yuzu know we'll be downstairs for breakfast in a minute?"

"Yeah, and by the way, the school called again." Isshin finally rose to his feet and headed towards the door. "Just so you know when you return to school I'm pretty sure your sensei is not going to be happy with you."

"Wait, what's today?" Ichigo asked.

"Friday. I told them you would both be returning to school Monday." Isshin left the room.

"Great. Tatsuki is going to kill me." Ichigo groaned. "I told her I would be back Monday and then that didn't end up happening. I bet she'll kill me for worrying her."

"It wasn't your fault. If anything it was my fault." I sighed.

He stared at me. "How was it your fault?"

My stomach growled loudly. "Never mind." I started for the door.

"Don't do that." Ichigo moved faster than me, kicking the door shut and standing in front of it. "Don't do that thing where you act like it's nothing and then leave."

"It's obviously my fault." I snapped at him, suddenly irritated. "If I…" I furrowed my eyebrows, trying to think of a good reason.

He snorted at my effort, raising an eyebrow. "You make me think you aren't so sure that it's your fault."

I sighed in defeat. "Fine, whatever. I want food."

He smirked and stepped sideways, opening the door. I stepped out of it and started walking down the stairs, somehow got my foot caught on who knows what, and nearly went tumbling down, except Ichigo grabbed my arm, preventing me from falling and possibly breaking my face.

"Wow you are really klutzy today." He snorted.

"Yeah well, did I forget to mention how uncoordinated I am?"

"You didn't seem like that…until today."

"Yeah yeah." I rolled my eyes as he pulled me upright, then without warning, he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, preventing me from moving. I huffed, and attempted to break free. Nothing. He had a tight grip. Not tight enough that it hurt or choked me, but tight enough that I couldn't break it.

"What are you doing?" I turned my head to the side to ask.

"Nothing." He said, then kissed the top of my head.

"You call keeping me hostage on the stairs nothing?" I smirked.

"I am not keeping you hostage. If I wanted to keep you hostage, I would have just locked you in my room." He whispered this in my ear, and it was creepy how he said it.

I shuddered. "You creep."

"I am not a creep." He protested, a little too loudly.

"What are you guys doing?" Yuzu shouted from the kitchen.

"Nothing. We're coming." Ichigo shouted back, and we very slowly got down the stairs, and he finally released me at the bottom of the stairs.

"By the way." He said to me. "Thanks for giving me the hostage idea."

He said this right in front of his family. I felt my face heat up, and it turned a very deep shade of red. I very slowly turned to glare at him, while he just wore this big grin, looking straight at me. I just glared him down, then watched him go into the kitchen, rethinking my need to eat. But then my stomach growled loudly again, and I trailed him into the kitchen, sitting in a chair next to him. Yuzu put breakfast on the table, which was eggs and sausage, and we ate in silence, with me still sitting there simmering with anger. Ichigo seemed to pick up on that, but he only seemed to be amused even further by that. I was finished before he was, but Yuzu was finished before me and took my plate before I could do anything, so I fled up to my room. I was quick to grab clothes and hurry into the shower, trying to get everything done before Ichigo decided he wanted to keep me "hostage".

I took my sweet time showering, letting the warm water relax my tense muscles, and it helped to soothe my anger. I kept my mind as blank as possible, just let myself be calmed by the nice hot shower. But I knew I couldn't stay in the shower, and I eventually twisted the knobs so the water was off, wrapped myself up in a towel, and stepped out, being careful because with my luck this morning I would most likely slip and fall. I slid the shower curtain closed, and quickly changed into clothes, taking my dirty ones up with me to my room. I dumped them in the laundry basket, sat on the edge of my bed and ran a brush through my pain in the butt thick wet hair. I was staring out the window while brushing my hair, so I didn't notice that Ichigo had silently snuck in, closing the door soundlessly. I still hadn't noticed him, mostly because I was spacing out at this point. When he got close enough to me, he poked me in the sides, and I jumped violently, nearly throwing the brush at him.

"Dude, really? What's with you this morning?" I scowled.

He shrugged and sat down next to me. "Just really happy I guess."

' I couldn't help but smile at that. "Explains how you're acting."

"Well, today should be a relatively normal day, which is nice." He put an arm around my shoulders.

I set the brush down off to my side. "I'd hope so."

He smiled then sighed. "There's not really much we can go out and do since we're supposedly both sick and that's why we haven't been at school."

"Your dad really said that we're both sick?" I snorted. "I don't see how well that's going to sit with Sensei."

"It's not going to. At all." He rubbed the back of his head. "Eh well I'm sure staying here we'll find something to do."

"We could watch a movie." I shrugged.

"We fell asleep until 3 am last time we did that."

"We could watch one like now, so we don't fall asleep."

He smirked. "I can't promise you that I won't fall asleep."

I rolled my eyes. "You like your sleep don't you?"

"Maybe." He shrugged.

"A movie might be a bad idea for you."

He laughed. "Oh yes, it probably would be."

Then there was suddenly a really loud banging on the door and we both jumped.
