A/N: When it gets to the zanpakuto's point of view, it's going to be like underlined and italicized since the majority of this chapter will be italicized for the hollow's point of view. Sorry it took so long for new chapters, I had massive writer's block. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
She was forced to hand control over to me, for which I was excited. But as I coughed out the hollow skin, it was blue and white, but not the bird shell. Either the Ban Kai training had something to do with the new shell, or the fact that Yoso wasn't inside us that did it. But I didn't care. This form was more aggressive looking and I felt more aggressive. The skin was leathery looking, kind of like a reptile with no scales. The underside of me was white, so my front, and my back was blue and my face was divided in half from what I could tell. The wings were bat like and completely blue, I had a white stripe running down my back from the top of my head, to the end of my long tail. I could see this all in my mind now because that always seemed to happen when I took form, as if to make sure I looked correct. And this dragon form was more well suited for me.
"What did you do to Saru?" Ichigo sounded pissed.
I just looked at him. "She's too weak for any of this. I'm taking my proper place in control."
Yoso suddenly had a blade and she lashed at me. I just used flash step to move out of the way and was behind her. I pointed at her with one of my claws and began charging a cero. She moved out of the way right as it fired, but when it cleared I noticed Ichigo was in Ban Kai and wearing a hollow mask. It was plain white with two black stripes running down vertically on each side of his eyes. How boring. He disappeared and reappeared right behind me but I just slammed him to the ground with my tail. Whatever form this was, I felt a lot stronger.
I heard Ichigo cussing up a storm, his voice all distorted from his hollow mask. I just laughed and then used my wings to block an attack from Yoso. I planted a foot on her chest and sent her flying backwards. Nobody was going to beat me. Nobody! I turned around to face Ichigo right as a red/black wave hit me, knocked me backwards. I was stunned for a moment, but not enough so to stop me from firing a quick cero at him, which made contact but he'd blocked it with his sword.
"Sloppy." Ichigo spat at me, and then proceeded to charge.
I howled in irritation and batted him away with my arm, hitting him hard enough he slammed into the wall and fell to the ground, dazed. Yoso came from behind but I got my tail around her and thrust her away from me. I wasn't going to let them take control. I bolted for the exit, but a sword that seemed to have extended from whoever was holding it, slammed into me and sent me backwards, then someone else landed on me from behind, followed by several others. I was pretty much face down in the dirt.
"Let Saru come back." Ichigo was absolutely livid. I was enjoying his torment.
"Nope." I said simply.
And with that, I was bored of being face down in the dirt if that's all they were going to say. I arched my back, hard and very quickly, sending whoever was on my back off and flash stepped to the other end of the room, mostly to get some ground so I wouldn't get overwhelmed again.
My first attacker this time is Renji. He's the one with the extending sword, which this time I'm more prepared for and I grab it with my hand and use it to throw him into the wall and then into the ground. I released the blade after that and waited for my next attacker. But this time Ichigo approached slower, not even wearing his mask anymore.
"What do you want?" He asked evenly; he was controlling his temper.
"I just want control. That's it. Saru is weak and pathetic. She'll never learn Ban Kai and she sure won't be beating Ulquiorra." I snarled.
"Let Saru come back." He said, as if my statement didn't even matter to him.
"I told you—she's weak. No way am I living with that." I growled, getting into a defensive position.
The rage in Ichigo's eyes was pretty clear, but his face and voice were blank and emotionless. "Saru, if you can hear me, you gotta fight back. You can't just let her win because she's stronger than you."
"She can't hear you." I snarled loudly.
"Saru," Ichigo continued to ignore me. "You need to get control back. Once you do, I can help you learn how to repress this monster." He said monster with so much hate and anger I flinched.
"She can't hear you. I told you that." I whipped my tail about.
"Saru. Come back to me. That's all I ask. Is you come back to me." He was starting to crack, the rage fading out of his eyes, being replaced by desperation.
I was about to speak again but suddenly my mouth wouldn't open. I couldn't make it open. I couldn't even move. Saru was silent, but she was slowly taking control back. NO! This wasn't fair to me. I didn't even get hardly any time. This was so not fair!
Everything swirled to black. We were both unconscious.
I hurried over to the scene, wondering if the fight broke out like I predicted. But when I reach the two, I saw the skin had come over Saru and she was lying on the ground, unconscious. Ichigo was just sitting next to her, as if he wasn't sure what to do.
"Was this the consequence for trying to train too early?" Ichigo asked as I got closer. "Her hollow overwhelms her because you're not inside her?" He looked at me.
"It appears so." I sat next to him and looked at Saru's face. Totally out. "We needed to give it at least another two weeks before we could have been able to attempt it and have her remain stable. The hollow knew we were too early and I knew she was going to take advantage of it."
"I can't even help her." His voice was full of anger, and pain. "I had this problem, but I can't help her because she has it so much worse." He went back to looking at her. "I hate seeing her having to go through this."
"Ban Kai might not be a viable option for her. The hollow will use the Ban Kai to take control. I don't even know if this is a good idea." I looked at her. "Because if I have to be outside of her for the training the hollow will learn how to use Ban Kai and I don't want that."
"But Ulquiorra will be back. We all know that. She needs to be able to do Ban Kai to protect herself."
"Ichigo, it's not safe for her to learn Ban Kai. But if we wait at least a week more, there might be a better chance she can fight off the hollow while learning Ban Kai."
"I'll tell Urahara we need to wait." Ichigo sighed. "You should probably return to her."
I nodded and the world around me disappeared.
