Notes: My apologies for the hiatus. College does tend to take over one's life.
Olivia marched over to Massie in her new mocha brown Ralph Lauren riding boots. Today the brunette was flipping through A Separate Peace. It was no wonder Hadley had made Massie the homework pledge. It would take Olivia at least a month to get through the classic novels that Massie was finishing in two days flat.
"Your decision?" Olivia hissed. Massie peered up at Olivia with an expression of pure boredom on her face.
Massie sighed. "Unlike you, Olivia, I'm a good friend. I could never do that to Claire."
Olivia gritted her teeth, resisting the urge to smack Massie across her smug little face. Weren't new kids supposed to be total pushovers that were desperate to make friends?
"Don't you care at all about the Legacy?" Olivia hissed. "What about your sisterhood in Tri-Theta?"
Massie smiled sadly. "I'll sacrifice my membership if it means I get to keep Claire as a friend."
"You'll regret this, Block," Olivia snapped, silently hoping that her words might intimidate the girl into submission.
No, Olivia, Massie thought to herself. You're going to regret this.
The bell sounded, leaving Olivia no choice but to shuffle back to her seat in, for the first time ever, defeat.

"Are B days always drama-filled?" Massie whispered to Dylan and Kristen as they hid behind the trash cans near Olivia and Alicia's coveted lunch table.
Dylan snorted. "Only for you. But your Olivia-filled B day schedule has made things kind of fun."
"Shhhh!" Kristen hissed. "I see Alicia!" Kristen's fingers scuttled across the keypad of her iPhone.
KRISTEN: Alicia sighted. Distract Olivia.
CLAIRE: done. Josh wishes dylan good luck.
KRISTEN: save your flirting for the playground, hotz.
The second Alicia's toned butt hit the bench, Dylan was on the move.
"Hey Alicia! Mind if I sit here for a moment?" The redhead asked, innocently twirling a red curl around her index finger. Alicia smile-shrugged, and Dylan slid onto the bench.
"Who made your shirt? It's super cute…" Dylan began rambling on to Alicia, who didn't suspect a thing.
CLAIRE: Olivia is stalled. Go massie!
Massie casually strolled by Alicia's table. Her Chloe bag was waiting patiently under the table's bench. Massie spotted Alicia's pill bottle in an inside pocket.
"Oh my god, Alicia," Massie gasped. The sultry Spanish beauty looked up, confused at the sudden amount of attention she was getting. "I am in desperate need of some gloss. Could I pretty please borrow some?" Alicia nodded, and Dylan quickly brought the ditzy girl's attention back to her.
Massie rifled through the bag, dabbing on some of Alicia's MAC Lipglass on for good measure. Finally, she snatched up the orange bottle of hydrocodone from its side pocket and tucked it into her Juicy hoodie.
"Thanks, Alicia," Massie cooed.
"You're welcome!" Alicia called back happily. Massie felt a twinge of guilt. She had no idea how that girl was always so happy. Massie would have jumped off a building by now if she were best friends with Olivia Ryan.
CLAIRE: Olivia's coming. ABORT. Is the bottle secure?
MASSIE: the bottle is secure. Done.
DYLAN: Done.
KRISTEN: And done.
"It was nice talking to you, Alicia, but I gotta go buy lunch. See you later!" Dylan blurted before jumping up and rushing off towards Claire's table before Alicia had a chance to say goodbye. Kristen, Massie, and Dylan made it to their table just moments before the cafeteria doors swung open and Olivia strutted in, looking beyond annoyed. Claire tiptoed in after the angry blonde.
"I couldn't think of any way to distract her other than 'accidentally' drawing all over her with eyeliner," Claire snickered. The girls and the soccer boys swung their heads around to glance at Olivia, whose knit chevron sweater was covered in black marks. The LBRs were furrowing their brows in confusion, trying to figure out if this was a new trend, while those who knew better snickered behind their palms.
"Nice one," Plovert congratulated Claire. After a round of high-fives, Claire got back down to business.
"Cam, you remember the plan, correct?" she asked. Cam nodded.
"All I need is what Massie so expertly stole," Cam said with a sly grin. Claire glared at the two as Massie handed off the pill bottle to Cam under the table.

Massie crossed her fingers, silently hoping this would work. Olivia was bound to be suspicious by now, if she hadn't already caught on.
At the moment, Olivia was standing at her locker with a Tide-To-Go pen, trying frantically to flush out the eyeliner stains.
"This brings a whole new meaning to 'long-lasting coverage'," Kristen murmured as they watched Olivia from an empty classroom across the hall.
Massie grinned. "Claire's Maybelline works like a charm."
"C'mon, Cam," Claire muttered under her breath, ignoring Massie and Kristen. Finally, Cam strolled up to Olivia and leaned against the locker next to hers.
"Hey Olivia," Cam greeted the blonde.
"What do you—oh!" Olivia squeaked, her cheeks turning a faint shade of pink. "Hi Cam!"
"That really sucks about your shirt," Cam continued, gesturing to her messy sweater. "Claire's such a…loser for doing that to you."
Claire almost burst out laughing across the hall. "That's the best he could come up with?" she snickered. Massie rolled her eyes.
"But I thought you two were, like, going out," Olivia asked, confusion masking her face.
"We are," Cam explained. "But it's getting close to 'we were'. You know, it's you that I've always really liked."
"Seriously?" Olivia breathed as Cam slowly and discreetly slid the pill bottle into Olivia's locker. Massie silently thanked God that Olivia was so in love with Cam that she was oblivious to anything but his bright green eyes.
"Seriously," he replied. "What's your number?"
Olivia blushed furiously as she scribbled down her phone number on a sheet of purple stationary.
"I'll call you," Cam murmured before kissing Olivia lightly on the cheek.

Claire knew that if Leticia or Hadley even remotely suspected that she had a hand in what she was about to do, she and the girls could all get kicked out of Tri-Theta and banned from the Legacy forever. But Olivia had been a thorn in her side for too long, and there was no way she was going to let the girl come between her and Cam.
It was time to knock Olivia off her pedestal for good.
Claire entered the administrative office with Olivia's purple note in hand.
"I need to meet with Headmistress Burns immediately, please," Claire said to her dumpy secretary.
"Do you have an appointment?" the lady asked without looking away from her computer screen.
"It's a Code 420," Claire said. The secretary immediately jumped up and knocked on Headmistress Burns's door. OCD's drug and alcohol policy allowed for a student to meet with any administrator at any time about a substance-related issue, so long as they called it in as a Code 420.
"Miss Lyons," Headmistress Burns said as Claire settled down into her plush leather guest chairs. "What can I do for you today?"
"I just didn't know who else to tell," Claire said in a small, sad voice. "I found this in the hallway." Claire handed Headmistress Burns the purple note.
Moments before arriving at the administrative office, Claire had taken the note that Olivia had written her number on and expertly forged a new message: Call me about the pills. xo, Olivia Ryan. Her number was still scribbled at the bottom.
"I've known her since I was little," Claire sniffled. "I never thought she would start up with something like this."
"Don't worry, dear," Headmistress Burns said in a soothing voice. "We'll do a routine search of her locker and get this problem taken care of."
Claire nodded and excused herself. When Headmistress Burns searched Olivia's locker, they would find the pills. And when they found the pills, they would suspend her. And when they suspended her, Leticia would call Olivia in front of the standards committee and kick her out of Tri-Theta.
Claire grinned to herself and wondered what 'pledge leader' would look like on her resume.
