Sorry for the long wait guys! I've had homework and a gig to work for. I'm also writing a second story using Wattpad, if you guys want to take a quick look. So far it's only got a prologue and 1 chapter, but it's an original story and I'd like to know what you guys think so far.
I'm not sure whether it's worth carrying this on, I'm getting no reviews. If you want more chapters, please review, I have loads to give. And it would be great to get some more support on Facebook!
Thanks loads to my one non-IRL-friend-liker, Kyleen Marish. Please guys get liking!

"Uh, Jacob, could I see something? I'd like to meet your family." Jacob looked at me, confused. It was a little weird, asking to meet a guy's family when I hardly knew him. But this was important I reminded myself. I could have found the family I had lost 13 years ago.
"O…K…" he said and started to change direction. "Why?"
"Just… curious."
Shane
I flew overhead as the huge russet red wolf halted through the trees. When I spotted the edge of the trees, I let go of my shorts, swept my wings forward, posed in mid air and managed to get into my shorts just before I hit the ground. Feet first. Oh yeah, uh huh...
The wolf glanced at me and indicated with his muzzle that I should go on ahead a short way, letting him phase back in privacy. Why they had to make it so difficult for themselves I don't know. A few seconds later, Jacob jogged up behind me.
"My place is just across the road as soon as we leave the forest. My dad will probably think you're a first-phaser, so if he asked you anything and you have no idea what in geek he's on about, just ignore him." He explained.
"Firstly, that's a bit rude. Secondly, what's a road?" I mean, if seen tracks and paths but not a 'rowed' or whatever. I have been in a seemed area since I was a baby, so I have no memory of any of it.
"Oh my God... You have seriously hot no idea what a road is?" I shook my head. "You have got a lot to learn, wilderness boy." We trekked through more trees until they opened up to a long blackish-grey path. It stretched as far as the eye could see in one direction, and round a corner in the other.
"Is this a road?" I asked. Jacob nodded and jogged across. I followed suite and we stopped in front of a smallish, white and red house. I was led round the back to a field-like patch of land which must have been the garden, and through a back door into an open space. In one chair sat a man with black hair tired back in a pony tail, and a pair of crutches rested on the arm of the chair.
Billy
Jake walked in through the back door with a new face behind him. I got up with the help of my newly liberating crutches and said "So who's this?"
"This is Shane. Shane Black." Jake replied. That name triggered many memories of rather forget, but I chose not to say anything. "He's part of a new tribe in the area. Apparently they came to rid us of the vampires."
"Thing is, we can't cos you've imprinted on Nessie." I looked at Shane, who'd spoken. "But you knew that already." I'd known since the day it happened. As a father, you can feel these things. As a father wolf, you know them. When he told me who it was, I was shocked, yes, but it did make sense. He'd always felt a pull to Bella, which I could feel too. But it was only when Renesmee was born that it became clear.
"And the treaty." I added.
"What treaty? I thought the only link was the imprint..." Shane continued. His face was puzzled, and resembled almost exactly Jacob's when he was confused. Come to think of it, they were very alike. Both had deep brown eyes, were nearly the same height, had the same build, the same face shape... even the same exact skin tone. His mark was different to Jacob's, but I could tell it had changed in his past. It is hard to tell the old form of a mark, especially when it was years ago. The only main thing that made them different was Shane's blond hair.
"No, the Quileutes have an agreement with the Cullens. We don't hunt them if they don't bite a human. Nowadays we tend to let it bend around a bit. We can freely go into each other's territory, and they can turn someone to save them. Sam nearly murdered Bella and Nessie, but I split from the pack to protect her. That's how my pack came to be." Jacob explained.
"So you're the big hero in this situation. And we don't know for certain that we came to hunt, Wyllow only said she felt an attraction to this place. Skye dismissed it as first-phase instinct, but Wyllow doesn't think so. I have to agree, she's not the murderous type - Ryan, maybe, but not Wyllow. I think it was something 'calling' her here. It could have been family roots, or an imprint pull."
"So you think she will find family here?" I asked him. This boy's appearance was bringing back unwanted memories that I had pushed away for years. Memories of my wife...my son...
"Well, less her and more me. There's something familiar about this place."
"There's something familiar about you, too..." I piped up. "You look extremely similar to Jacob, and you share our surname. It's possible we are at least related..." personally, inside I thought - no, knew - that this was the boy I lost 13 years ago, when my wife and child had disappeared. It had been a hard time for us all, but I took it the worst. Rachel and Rebecca were too young to understand, so it had only been years later I told them their mother and brother were presumed dead, but I'd never spoken of Shane to Jacob. I somehow felt...I didn't need to. It was in the past, and only the future mattered to Jacob.
"Dad, are you OK?" Jacob looked concerned. I hadn't realised, but all my thinking had started to show. I was almost sure now, but was it even possible?
"Jacob, there's something you should know. Shane, feel free to make yourself comfortable." He pondered near a chair, and after a second or two, sat down. Jacob took a seat from the table and sat opposite me. "You had a brother. His name was Shane. When your mother supposedly died, she had with her this boy, only a year and a half older than you. When she disappeared, we assumed she was dead. But now we have evidence otherwise. Shane, what was your mother called?"
"Hailey."
"And your father?"
He hesitated, realizing the truth behind what I was saying. "Billy."
Wyllow
Imprinting was amazing. I saw Luke for the first time, and just knew that he was the one, the reason I came here. Apparently, we imprint to reproduce. And it has been proven male vampires can. But what if a child was half vampire, half shifter? But there is no reason for me to consider this. I must make Luke see that he should be with me and he should let go of the girl that was claimed by the wolf.
But it feels like there's something else. Shane agreed with me when I told the tribe of my interest in here. He said he felt curious about the softer pack that lived here. The fact that they settled was strange enough. His past was pretty eventful. He went through the first-phases by himself, as I did. Skye and Ryan had their families to guide them, but all we had was solitude.
A first love is the hardest top let go of. So I knew I had to use honesty and the true me. If he was happier Adobe, I would let him be alone. But I knew he needed someone, and I wanted that someone to be me.
As we walked towards the main structure in which the vampires supposedly lived, Luke took a small shiny object out of his pocket and started to tap it. A few seconds later, he put it away again. "What's that?" I asked.
"This?" He brought it out again.
"Yes, that."
"It's a mobile. We use it to communicate with other mobile all around the world."
"How?"
"Each one has its own number. You can send a written more, an image, a video or just call them. That way, you can listen to each other's choices from anywhere in the world and have conversations."
"What's a video?" He seemed to like being the one doing the explaining for once, rather than being the one to be taught.
"This mobile phone has a camera. A camera can capture single images or record what you can see and hear. Let me show you." He tapped something, pointed the thing at me, tapped again and showed me the front of the thing. My face was looking right back at me, like a reflection. Except, when I moved, the picture stayed in the same position. "That's a photo. It captures light from a single moment in time and keeps it frozen. A video, however, is easier to show than tell." More tapping. "When I say go, do something that you will recognise. Like a cartwheel or something."
Luke pointed the mobile at me again. "Go." I tried to think of something I could do, but then just decided it was easier to show him the straightest thing about me. I took a step forward, and fell onto my arms, which became legs before I hit the ground. Luke looked shocked as I straightened up again, a human one more. "Um, OK. Come and look."
I slowly walked towards him and looked at what I thought was called a screen. Again, there was me, but this time I was moving. It was strange, watching myself phase. But it made me see why I was stared at more than the others. I just managed to take it in my side, not caring at all. The others made a big thing of it, stopping to ready themselves. "That's me? Why am I on a tiny screen?" I asked in confusion.
"I don't know, something about light and sound being detected by this thing… If you like videos, you might like a movie." He said. I'd heard of that.
"What's movie?" I asked.
"A movie is a long video with a story line. Do you read books?" He asked as if trying to find out what he should show me next.
"Yes, I love books. My favourites are about vampires. They can be so far from the truth! Its good knowing that these famous writers know nothing about our race. They attempt to write books about us. Shifter books tend to be more accurate, but the ones about werewolves are almost true. Proper werewolves I mean."
"In that case… I'm going to show you a vampire movie." Luke said as he took my hand. As he did, a jolt of energy travelled up my arm and I realized how relieved I was to find my mate. I knew this would be interesting: a vampire and a shifter, mortal enemies, destined to be together forever.
He led me towards a big house, with one wall made entirely of glass. It had a very modern build, like nothing I'd seen before. He dragged me inside and took me up the stairs and into a room with glass walls on two sides and the other two walls lined with books and plastic cases the shape of books. He took one off the middle shelf that said 'Dracula' on the side. He opened this plastic box to reveal a silver disk. He pressed a button on a bigger shiny silver box, under a huge screen, and slotted the disk into a little holder that appeared. It slotted itself back into the machine and the screen showed an image of a bright-white man with huge fangs showing. The screen then went dark and the movie began.
Jacob
This had to be a coincidence. I only had two sisters and that was it. But the names of our parents were identical…
"Jacob, there's a story I need to tell you. I haven't until now because I didn't think it mattered, and there was no point grieving over something lost that you didn't know. You had a brother. He was three years older than you. When your mother supposedly 'died' it turns out she escaped with this boy. He was called Shane, and now he's found us. This is your brother, Shane Black."
"But surely he'd be a wolf. We all are, and we have been for generations." I protested. This couldn't happen, not now. If I had an older brother, I was no longer the deserving Alpha. I would have to fight for my place. I know I should be overjoyed, but I'm not, quite the opposite in fact. "This means I'll lose my right as true Alpha." I said "You will have to tell the pack, and see what they say. But I won't just back down, and I will keep my place." I warned as I stormed out of the house and phased in rage right there. Running off into the woods, I hunted Nessie straight down.
So guys, more action next chapter, not sure when I'm putting which bits of the complex story line in where, so try to keep up.
Happy reading, and I hope to be able to write again!
