Probably I'll make more, but I'm doing shorts from the story. Just to entertain the readers from the main story. These will be about relaxing, and will mostly be on the summer. Here's the first short of Our Senior Year!

Our Senior Year

Short 01: Summer Fun!

As the summer went by, both teams were doing their own things, and all were relaxing in the days of August. By next month, September's near and the only thing that keeps them screaming; School.

Sonic groaned as he sat down at the chair as he went to the Pizza Parlor. He placed his head on the table, and shook his head. "I... Hate... School!" Amy went by as she heard him say that. She skated backwards, and looked at him curiously.

"Why?" She asked, grabbing a vacant tray as Tikal was going by next to her. Amy placed the tray on top of the tray she had, which was vacant as well. "You said that you wanted to get a good Scholarship when going to College." Amy told him, grabbing another vacant tray and glass from Rouge who was passing by.

Sonic growled, and raised his head. He rubbed his neck, and shook his head. "That was when I was Freshmen, summer passes so quickly when you have so much fun." Amy nodded, and gave all the dirty trays and plates to Blaze, who had more trays than Amy.

The lavender cat struggled as she tried to go to the kitchen. She went inside carefully. Amy looked at her, and sat down next to Sonic at the table. "Well, all of us agreed to go to Emerald Mobious University, you know." Amy told him, letting her long quills go down her back.

The blue hedgehog nodded, but then looked down at his hands. "But then again... We can use our last four years together at parties and casinos." Sonic told her, smiling at her. Amy looked at him, and shook her head.

"Nuh-uh. I don't want to win ten-thousand dollars each night at a casino." Amy told him, raising her nose to the air, "But then again... I made it sound so awesome..." She said again, looking down. "Is that a good thing? Or a bad thing?"

Sonic rolled his eyes as his girlfriend kept on blabbering. "You know, now that I think about it, what will school be like when we be as Seniors?" Sonic asked, looking up at the ceiling, "There's been so much stuff that has been going on, what more can we get?"

The pink hedgehog turned her head towards Sonic, who was thinking deep. She blinked, and leaned in towards the blue hedgehog. "Who are you and what have you done to my Sonniku?" She asked, staring at him.

Sonic turned his head towards her, and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know..." He said plainfully. "I have no idea..." Amy backed away, and crossed her arms as confusion went to them. For a few minutes, Rouge came in and crossed her arms as she saw Amy.

She stared at the pink hedgehog. "Amy, we have to get to work! Blaze and Tikal won't always help you around when you're talking to your boyfriend!" Amy frowned, and got up from the chair. She turned her head towards Sonic.

She smiled at him. "I'll be back, I'll also bring some Chilli Dog Pizza if it makes you happy." The blue hedgehog looked at her, and nodded slowly as he had drool slipping out of his mouth. Amy laughed, and went to the kitchen with Rouge.

Few Hours Later, at the Mall

"Hm..." Cream said to herself, looking down at the a crossword puzzle she was working at, "What's white and squishy?" She looked down at the crossword curiously as she placed the tip of the pencil on her mouth. So hard...

"It's lip balm, girly." Cosmo said out of nowhere, looking at Cream as she looked up and looking at her surprised. "Everyone knows that some lip balms are white." Cream sweatdrop, and nodded slowly.

Cosmo looked down at the crossword puzzle, "Hm... What's big, round, and heavy?" Cream looked at the crossword puzzle again.

She snapped her fingers. "A yoga ball!" Cosmo raised an eyebrow.

"Yoga balls aren't heavy though."

"Hm... True..." Cream said, looking at the puzzle again. She sighed. "Break time takes forever when my mom is out, having a romantic lunch with Vector!" Cream sniffed, "I want my Tails." Cosmo looked at her, and had her eye twitched when Cream said 'Tails'

She stared at her, and rolled her eyes. "So anyways, I have to get back to work." She grabbed her cap from her pocket, and placed it in her head. It was Mickey Mouse hat. "This job isn't even hard!" Cosmo exclaimed, walking away.

Cream looked at the green seedrian as she left, and looked at the crossword. She wrote down 'Yoga Ball' in the boxes, and it was correct. "Yes!" She exclaimed, going to another question.

Tails was on his break, and took off his name tag and went over to the store in front of him. He looked at Cream, who was still in the crossword puzzle for over the last few minutes. He smiled. "Heh, how come your doing puzzles?"

The cream-colored rabbit looked up to Tails, and smiled at him. She closed the book and pencil and placed in the drawer. She smiled at him lovingly. "I was bored, since the store is closed for about an hour and it's my break time."

The two tailed fox smiled at her. "Great, it's nice that you get a break time over an hour." Tails told her, "I only get three hours." Cream looked at him with disbelief, and shook her head.

"Shush you!" She exclaimed, pushing him off playfully. Tails was unaware of Cream pushing so he fell down the floor. The cream-colored rabbit looked down to Tails. "You okay?" She asked, seeing as he got up, and rubbed his back.

He smiled at her awkwardly, and kept on rubbing his head. "Yeah, I'm okay." He told her, "You got some hand you got their," Cream blinked, and blushed.

"Yeah well, I got from my dad." Cream told him, "I'm still sorry, didn't mean to push you that hard." Tails nodded, and turned his head as Amy, Blaze, and Rouge came in to the store.

Amy smirked as she saw Cream and Tails together. "Heh, who's buying the stuff?" Amy asked, elbowing Tails' arm, and raising her eyebrows up and down. Tails and Cream looked at her confusingly, and blushed.

"Amy!" They shouted at the same time, staring at her. Amy laughed, and backed away from the couple.

"I'm sorry, I got carried away." Amy told them, smiling nervously. Cream calmed down, while Tails had his eye twitched.

"What stuff?" He asked, looking at her, trying to confirm what she had meant. Amy chuckled nervously, and waved her hand lazily at him.

"It's nothing, just a joke." Amy told him, smiling. "So, how come your here, Tails?" The two tailed fox looked at her, and looked at the cream-colored rabbit when she asked the question.

"I was just dropping by, since I'm on my break." Tails told her, "Also, Cream's on her break as well." Amy smiled, and looked at them.

"Yeah, us too." Rouge told them, being the tallest out of the group, "Actually, were on a shopping spree." The two tailed fox and cream-colored blinked, and looked at her questionably.

"Shopping-" Tails asked, but Cream beat him to it.

"Spree?" She asked.

Amy, Blaze, and Rouge nodded as they whistled. Sonic, Silver, and Knuckles went inside of the store, and were holding many bags from many stores. "Can we leave now?" Silver asked, having a bag in his head.

The lavender cat looked at Silver, and placed a finger at her lips. Amy and Rouge did the same. "Hm..." They all said at the same time. Sonic was pleading Amy with no words as he was about to fall to the ground.

Amy crossed her arms. "Well, it's lunch time... So why not?" Blaze nodded, and grabbed half of the bags that Silver got.

The white hedgehog looked at her confusingly. "You? Helping me?" Blaze rolled her eyes, and pushed him towards the food court.

"Just go and buy me some Chinese food." Blaze told him calmly, sighing. "I'm always the mature one in this." Amy rolled her eyes. and grabbed almost all the bags from Sonic's grasp. The blue hedgehog looked at her surprisingly.

"Wow Amy, being helpful, aren't you?" Sonic asked to her, laughing as he saw her rolling her eyes. Rouge looked at how helpful Blaze and Amy was, and turned her head towards Knuckles. The red echidna was about to collapse.

She went over to him, and grabbed only two bags from him. "Off we go, Knuckles!" Rouge exclaimed, stalking off and going towards the others. Knuckles glared at her, and was staring at her as well.

"Wow, how helpful." Knuckles said sarcastically, walking right behind her as he tried to get all the bags and boxes in one piece as he tried to walk normally. Cream and Tails looked at them, and the cream-colored rabbit took off her name tag, and placed it in her pocket.

"Lunch, how wonderful." Cream said, smiling as Tails started to laugh. They both walked together as a couple as they went to the food court with the others.

The Next Day

"One more day of summer vacation, closer to the new school year." Tikal said to everyone as they were in a tree, which was outside of the school dorms. She was sitting on the tree, and sighed. "Seniors..."

Sonic and Tails nodded as everyone was in a branch, having a 'meeting' (As Tails recall) about the new school year and events. Amy was sitting next to Sonic, and Sonic was next to Tails. "Also, school uniforms were free last week, which was awesome."

Cream was pealing an apple, which Rouge grabbed when she was done. Knuckles was craving something on the tree, while the others were sitting together or by their selves. "But also, I heard rumors about Comet 4."

Amy rolled her eyes, and looked down as she saw Sally Acorn, Sonic's ex-girlfriend, going down the tree and was sitting down. "Hm... It seems that Little Miss Breaking Hearts is there, sulking." Amy said, crossing her arms.

Sonic turned his head towards her, and rolled his eyes. "Amy, just because she dated twenty guys after me doesn't mean that she breaks... Actually, it does." Sonic said as he heard himself talk.

They heard a soft sob, and they all looked down to Sally. She wiped her tears, and sniffed. Amy smirked, and grabbed a rotten apple from a branch. She looked over to the girls, who nodded, and guys, who just shrugged their shoulders.

The pink hedgehog smirked, and placed the rotten apple in Sally's head. "Ow!" Sally shouted, rubbing her head as she felt pain. She looked up, and saw nothing. She growled, and went down to her phone.

Silver chuckled as he let everyone down from his telekinesis powers to make everyone float, and sat down to the branch next to Blaze. Sonia and Wave snickered, and went to their phones. "Hm... Says here on her status report that she's single, again." Sonia told everyone, rolling her eyes.

"The slut." Wave said, scoffing, "First, she was with Sonic. Then Scourge. After that, so many guys that I don't care about." Sonia nodded, and looked down again to the chipmunk. She placed her phone on her pocket, and saw her friends going to her way.

Amy looked down, and saw that Bunnie, Mina, and Julie-Su all went over to her and sat down on the ground with her. "Julie-Su..." Rouge muttered, gripping her hands as she remembered what happened when she asked out Knuckles.

Amy rolled her eyes, and began to hear the conversation.

"Sal, you were so wrong this time." Mina said, making her hair go away from her face, "I mean, sure you were going to dump to him last night, until he actually broke up with you, at the same time you were suppose to."

Sally nodded, and looked down at the floor. "I don't know why I'm so depressed right now..." Bunnie rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms.

"Duh, Sally. You were actually in love with him." Bunnie told the chipmunk with her accent, "Now, you were breaking up with him, and you were going to ask that hottie out-"

"Shadow~!" Mina and Julie-Su said at the same time, sighing heavily. Bunnie nodded to her two friends, and went back to Sally.

"-but now, you can't since your heart is broken!" Bunnie told her, "Jeez, you were happy with him, now he broke up with you, not even two weeks since you guys dated!" Sally sniffed, and looked down with her eyes about to tremble.

Amy heard the whole conversation, and felt Sonia gripping on the tree's bark, and was about to break it. "Shadow..." She muttered, breaking it. Over the years, Sonia had liked Shadow since they were Sophomores, when they were in all the same classes together.

But now, hearing that Sally was going to ask him out, she would actually kill the poor girl. "Now, now, Sonia... Don't have to be so feisty." Blaze told her, laughing nervously. Mina picked up a flower, and began the conversation again.

"You know, I heard from a few Juniors that we'll be getting new students for the school year in campus." Mina told them, changing to another subject, "Since their from the School council, they know all the latest deets."

Bunnie and Julie-Su looked at her, while Sally was still looking at the ground. "Really?" Julie asked, smiling. "Heh, so what? Are they guys or gals?" Mina was about to answer, until Sonia fell off the tree and no one from the tree could hear her answer.

Sonia had her hands on her mouth, so that she wouldn't make a sound, and felt that Silver used his telekinesis powers to pull her up and not letting the group of girls see Sonia. "Phew, thanks." Sonia whispered to Silver.

The white hedgehog nodded. "Don't mention it." He told her.

"Guys, huh?" Bunnie asked, "Hm... Nerds or hotties?"

Mina shrugged her shoulders. "Don't know."

"Maybe nerds."

"Yeah, that's so tacky."

Sally, saying nothing in the conversation, rolled her eyes and laughed. "Come on, let's go. I have to ask Shadow out unless someone else does." Sonia's left eye twitched.

When they all walked away, Sally felt a hard apple hitting the back of her, again.

"Ow!" She exclaimed, rubbing her head. She turned her head, and like last time, nothing was there. She stared at the suspicious tree, and scowled.

Sonia smirked when Sally and her so-called friends walked away from the 'meeting's tree'
