Now back to the past... now shown in the eyes of Cam

I laid on the hospital bed, thinking about when Michelle was little. How I first met her dad... The way her eyes used to twinkle when I would buy her ice cream... (mint chocolate chip was her favorite.) Now I thought of what she had just said... Thinking if it was my fault... I remember the day I saw Michelle again, so soon after her dad's passing. I just wished I could have made it different. I turned my head to the door. Brennan was standing there.

"Hey." I said. I stretched up on the bed to see her better. "I'm so sorry. I heard about Christine." I could see her eyes were wet still with tears and red from crying. She just sat on the chair beside me. She must have sat there for half an hour, just staring into space, until she finally said something.

"I want her back." she said, he voice croaked and tears rapidly moved down her cheeks. I put a hand on her shoulder and told her that everything would be fine.

A day went by and nothing was happening. No leads on the case. Everyone who had hurt us before seemed to have an alibi. They were releasing me from the hospital when I saw her. She was playing with toys in the waiting room. Christine.

I ran over to her and picked her up. I looked all over for someone suspicious. No one. My heart started to race and I called Brennan and Booth down to the hospital. I was so scared that I made have made them worry more because all I said was there was an emergency, and to come quick. Christine started to cry, and I rested the two year-old on my shoulder. "It's ok." I whispered into Christine's ear. My voice continued to echo in whispers, not sure I could stop myself if I wanted to.

Finally, Booth and Brennan walked through the waiting room doors. "Christine!" Brennan yelled out to her daughter's awaited return. For the first time in awhile, I smiled. relief poured over Booth's face as he played with his daughter's tiny hands.

Booth tried to get security footage of the waiting room, but the waiting room's only camera was being fixed at the time Christine was dropped off, so there was no footage of the man that kidnapped Christine. I walked back to the Jeffersonian and I was greeted with hugs and people telling me to stay home, but I knew I needed to stay and work on the case. Since my office was a crime scene, I was in Angela's office. The no-window room made me feel safer.

Angela had Michael Vincent with her. I didn't say anything. At the moment, I knew that any no kids at work policy needed to be thrown down the toilet for awhile. Angela was done with facial reconstruction and was looking through Missing people files to find the victim. I didn't look at the reconstruction, I was to busy looking through old case files. Finally it popped up, a girl Michelle's age. I studied it for a moment.

"Cam you okay?" She asked, pure concern on her face.

"I'm okay, just thinking about Michelle." Tears welled up in my eyes and I wanted to cry.

Now we see the story through the eyes of the killer... (PS I WILL GIVE Hints to who it is...)

I placed the new photo of Cam holding Christine on the wall next to my toolbox. I almost killed her, but looking into the toddler's eyes I found mercy somehow. I knew who my next target was... Angela. Although kind and sweet, she needed to go. She was Temperance's best friend and valuable to the case. She could help find me out, and I could not get caught. I only had one thing stopping me from killing Angela right away. I was on my way to the bus station and I saw her dad get off this morning, so I made a decision, I would have to kill him first.

I placed my gun in my tool box and drove off. I went to the hotel her dad was staying at. Looking into the window I saw him. He was right next to Angela. Two easy targets. I cocked the gun and prepared my gun to shoot when my cellphone rang. Temperance. "Hey Tempe." I said, putting down the gun and answering the phone. She asked me if I was okay and asked me to come to town. I told her I'd hop on the next flight over and would be right there. I hung up the phone and packed my things up. They had left the window and I had to get ready to go to Temperance's. It was like a 5 hour flight so I just went to the gym and worked out till' it was time to go to her place.

I put a pistol in my bag and then I stuffed a bunch of clothes and toiletries to make it look like I had rushed packing. I stepped out of the car and to the doorstep. She answered the door and greeted me with a hug. Booth shook my hand and then pulled me in for a hug. I was in, they didn't expect me at all.

I stayed in her spare bedroom and wrote letters to everyone. I threatened what they all loved most, and I smirked writing each one. The bastards would pay for everything they had done, and best of all I told them what they did not want to hear, that they would lose what they loved.

Hope yawl are enjoying the story so far. Next chapter will only be the letters, reactions and stuff will be in the chapter after that.
