Four and a half years later

Elliot and I got married at the court house with Cragen, Casey, Munch, Fin, and the kids there. Neither of us wanted a big wedding. We walked out hand in hand and we all went to a local restaurant to celebrate.

"Liv, Elliot," Fin handed us a box wrapped neatly in shiny silver paper. I unwrap it and put a hand over my mouth. It was a framed picture of us. That day in the hospital, Elliot, the kids, and I were sitting on the bed and we were all smiling or laughing. The moment rang clear in my head.

"How did you? You weren't there yet," I asked confused. He smiled.

"Yes I was. I was standing behind Casey in the doorway. I took my chance and quickly snapped this picture. I had completely forgotten about it until you guys announced that you were getting married." Fin explained taking a sip of his drink. I slid my chair back and walked around to him.

"Thank you," I whispered and hugged him.

"You're Welcome Liv."

I was currently pacing the bathroom in the locker room. On the counter sat four small white sticks and they scared me to death. Elliot and I had been trying to get pregnant for almost three years. After my six month check up the doctor said we were free to try if really wanted too, but not to get our hopes up. Three years and many pregnancy tests later and I still couldn't get pregnant. I went in to see the doctor and he told me that my one remaining ovary didn't seem to be functioning. It has been a year since then and still nothing. I had given up hope completely.

I wasn't even sure why I was here doing this. Im not even sure why I cared so much. I had four wonderful kids who were now 7, 15, and 18. They were all growing into wonderful people and I was happy. I had pretty much given up and after a while it didn't bother me anymore.

All I knew is that Finn walked up to me about an hour ago and handed me a brown paper bag with the tests in it. He told me that I was pregnant.

"You're pregnant, four months with a girl and you're gonna name her after me." He told me. I just looked at him like he as insane. After a year of sex with absolutely no contraceptives whatsoever, I figured it to be impossible. He just pushed the bag into my hands and pointed me in the direction of the bathroom. I humored him. What the hell, right?

My watch beeped and I took a deep breath. I crept up to the sink and looked down at the little white sticks. Each stick had the same result on it.

I grabbed the four tests and ran out to bullpen. It was two AM and the place was a ghost town. Everyone had turned in except Elliot. We had been working on the case of a young boy who had been abused, killed, and dumped in a sewer. Casey volunteered to watch the kids while we worked.

An unexpected sob ripped through my chest and echoed throughout the quiet bullpen. Elliot's head snapped at looked up at me. He saw me crying and jumped up and ran to me. He looked down at my hand when he saw me holding something tightly in my hand.

"Oh Liv, it will be okay." He wrapped his arms around me to hold me. I shook my head and pulled back from him a little bit.

He looked down at me and I handed him the tests. He looked at me and then took the tests. His face lit up as he looked at each test and saw the little pink plus signs.

"Oh my god, really?" he asked. I nodded. He dropped the tests on his desk and pulled me tightly to him.

"Olivia, this is great!" he bellowed. All the sudden Cragen swings his door open and walks out.

"What the hell is all the yelling for?" he asks wearily.

"Fin said I was pregnant and he gave me some tests. He was right, I'm pregnant!" I answered excitedly.

"That's great Olivia." He walked up and hugged me. "I hope you like that desk because you have just been sidelined."

"But Cragen, im still really early in my first trimester!" I argued. He shook his head.

"Nope, you're on a desk. I'm not letting you chance my new grandchild." He turned around and walked back into his office.

Elliot

I paced the room with new little girl; Harper Fynn Stabler.

Olivia had done great and was currently passed out. After a quick four hours in labor (I never had I seen labor progress so quickly, Kathy had 18 hours in with both of the older girls) my newest daughter was born. That was two hours ago and I knew people would be stopping by soon.

"Hi there baby girl," she opened her little eyes and looked at me. She had a full head of brown hair and my blue eyes. "I'm your daddy. You have a lot of people coming to see you. You are going to have a big family with four siblings, and aunts and uncles and a grandfather" She just stared at me.

"Elliot she has no idea what you are saying," Olivia's sleepy voice rouses me from my thoughts.

"I know; I'm just so happy she's here. I just like talking to her." Olivia raised her arms and I set Harper down in her arms.

Olivia stared down at Harper, a look of pure contentment on her face.

"Where is everyone?" she asked.

"Out in the waiting room, I'll send for them if your ready." I told her as I sat on the edge of the bed. She smiled and nodded.

"Yea, lets introduce her to the family." She looked up at me and I leaned down and kissed her.

"You did such a good job. You made a beautiful baby." I whispered. She laughed.

"No, we made a beautiful baby." I kissed her forehead and stood up. I walked out the door and the down the hall to the waiting room. I looked in through the door and everyone was either pacing or sleeping.

I opened the door and I instantly had eight pairs of eyes staring at me.

"Are you guys ready to meet the newest member of the Stabler crew?" I asked.

Everyone stood up and at the same time said "Yes,"

"Alright, lets go then." We all started down the corridor and Lizzie looked up at me. "Daddy, is the baby a girl or a boy?"

I smiled, "You'll just have to wait and see." Olivia and I had decided to wait to find out the sex of the baby. We figured that this would be our last child so we wanted it to be a surprise.

We got to the door and I stood in front of it. "Okay, Lizzie and Dickie, you guys have to be quiet when we go in okay?" they both nodded and bounced on their toes.

I opened the door and everyone filed in.

"Hi mommy!" Lizzie and Dickie whispered loudly. Olivia smiled.

"Do you guys wanna meet your new sister?" she asked. The twins nodded and both climbed onto the bed. I stood back next to Finn.

"So you were right about all of it; pregnant, four months, and a girl." He laughed

"Mom, what did you and Dad name her?" Kathleen asked. She was standing next to Maureen who was standing over Olivia's shoulder.

"Finn, Come over here." Olivia called Finn over and patted the bed next to her. When he sat down she carefully but firmly forced Harper into his arms.

"Everyone I want you to meet Harper Fynn Stabler," she announced

AN: The ending really didn't come together like I really wanted but I rewrote it a few times and this is the version I liked best. Anyhoo, thank you all so much for reading, reviewing and following even when I took so long to update. You guys are awesome!
