Roark was still shocked as to what had just happened, a good chunk of his sabers had just fallen into a hole. He looked up and the sight of Diego standing in front of him with a smirk on his face sent him over the edge.
"Get him!" He shouted.
The sabers who didn't fall in jumped over the hole and Diego started running with them after him. Meanwhile the Peaches and the other teenagers were standing around and then they heard shouting.
"What was that?" Ethan asked.
"I'm not sure." Peaches said.
The two sabers heard the shouting as well and they knew something was up.
"That sounded like Roark." One of them said.
"Sounds like he's calling for reinforcements." The other said.
"You think we should go." The first one said.
"I'm not sure." The second said.
"We'll either way you two are still going to lose." A voice said.
The two sabers turned to see where the voice came from and they were both surprised to see an elderly female sloth just standing out in the open.
"What the heck?" One of the sabers asked.
"Granny?" Peaches said.
"Hey fellas, I was walking by and I saw what you were doing so I decided to drop by." She explained.
"How did you get away?" He asked.
"Oh it was easy, especially with the mediocre security they got around here." She said.
Her comment got the two very angry and they instantly charged at her, but when they got close the ground beneath them gave way and they fell. When the dust settled, their heads where the only part of them above ground. When they came back to their senses, they were surprised to see a smiling molehog standing right in front of them.
"You know, there are a lot of advantages to digging." He said.
"Louis." Peaches.
"Oh hey guys, I'll be right there." He said.
Louis jumped onto one of the sabers heads and then jumped off, all they could do was snarl at them, but then granny hit them over the head with her walking stick.
"Didn't your momma ever teach you manners?" She asked.
Louis walked over to the others who were surprised to see him.
"Did you guys miss me?" He asked.
"Yes, Louis that was brilliant, where did you come up with that?" Peaches asked.
"Actually that was Diego's idea." He said,
"Wait Diego, is he alright?" Peaches asked.
"He should be, if the trap worked." Louis said.
"Well either way, he could use our help." Peaches said.
"Right let's go." Ethan said.
The teenagers ran as fast as they could and they soon came into the clearing. There Peaches saw her parents and was relieved that they were alive.
"Mom, Dad!" She called.
Manny and Ellie looked and saw their daughter and they were instantly relieved that she was okay.
"Peaches!" They both called back.
The young female mammoth quickly ran to her parents and that instantly started an all-out mammoth hug fest.
"Oh Peaches, we're so glad that you're okay." Ellie said.
"I know, I was scared about you guys too." She said.
"It's okay, we're all safe." Manny said.
"Yeah, unless you can't Diego who's being chased by a bunch of angry sabers." Granny said.
"Granny, you're okay!" Sid said excitedly.
Sid instantly ran and hugged Granny, to which she responded with a quick smack on the head with her walking stick.
"Ow!" Sid yelled.
"Don't get all mushy on me now Sidney." She warned.
"Wait, what did you say about Diego?" Shira asked.
"Oh just that he's probably being chased by that Roark guy." She said.
"You mean Diego is here?" Manny asked.
"Yes what are you deaf?" Granny asked.
"Um guys maybe we should focus less on talking about Diego and actually go and help him." Louis stated.
"Right, everybody let's go." Manny said.
With that Manny, Sid, Ellie, Shira, Peaches, Crash, Eddie, Louis, Granny, Ethan and the Brat Pack go to help Diego. Meanwhile, Diego got himself cornered by Roark's sabers, and they were going at him with much ferocity, Diego knew he couldn't fight them all off, so he tried basic dodging maneuvers. Whenever any of the sabers jumped at him, he would either jump over them, slide beneath them, or use some form of counter technique to throw them off. While all this was going on Zeke, Lenny and Oscar were watching with interest.
"So what do you think, should we get in there, or should we let them have their fun?" Oscar asked.
"Gee I don't know, they look like they're enjoying themselves down there." Lenny said.
"Well I don't know about you guys, but I going for some old fashion mauling." Zeke said.
Zeke instantly jumps to join the action, however before he gets far, he's caught by a large elephant trunk and the other two were shocked to see him being held by his tail by Manny.
"You know, you really should get some help with that mauling fixation of yours." Sid said.
"What the heck are you doing here?" Oscar asked surprised.
"We're here to even to score." Manny said.
Before they could do anything else, Manny threw Zeke which knock all three of them to the ground. The others went to help Diego, who was starting to get overwhelmed.
"Hey!" Shira called out.
The sabers turned around to see the others standing across from them.
"Didn't your mothers teach you not to gang up on people?" Ellie asked.
The sabers then turned their attention away from Diego and on to the herd. Soon there was a barrage of claws, tusks and teeth everywhere. Manny was dealing with three sabers and one of them tried to jump at him while he wasn't looking, but luckily he saw him and smacked him away with his tusk, another one jumped at him and he grabbed him with his trunk and threw him at the other saber knocking them both out. Meanwhile, Sid was being chased by Zeke and is soon corned near a tree.
"Oh it's payback time sloth." He said.
"What did I do to you?" Sid asked.
"How about getting me stuck in a tree!" He shouted.
"Oh you're still mad about that." Sid said.
"Yeah, and now I'm going rip you apart." He exclaimed.
"Before you do, may I offer you an alternative meal?" Sid asked.
"What?!" Zeke said.
Then all of a sudden Crash and Eddie jumped from the tree and landed on Zeke. He tried to buck them off, but Eddie used his tail to winch his jaw open while Crash threw a lotus berry into his mouth and then they jumped off.
"Say, this tastes pretty good, and a little funny and now I feel funny." Zeke said.
He swayed a little bit and then he fell down and couldn't get back up.
"Lotus berries, causes paralysis, trust me I know." Sid said.
Elsewhere, two sabers where chasing Louis and he looked and saw that both were both coming from opposite directions, but then he got an idea. He quickly dug a small hole the second the jumped at him full speed, he went under and the two sabers collided and knocked themselves out.
"Well that was a close one." He said popping out of the hole.
"Oh you're not safe yet little guy." Lenny said from behind.
Louis turned around to see Lenny looking at him with murderous intent.
"Oh boy." He said.
Luckily before Lenny could attack, both Peaches and Ethan grabbed him from behind with their trunks and then slammed his head on the ground knocking him out.
"Thanks guy." Louis said.
"No problem." Ethan said,
Not too far away, Shira was dodging attacks from sabers when out of nowhere, Oscar tackled her and held her down.
"Well now we can have that talk you promised." He said.
"Bite me!" She said.
"Poor choice of words." He said.
Diego had just taken down a saber when he saw Oscar about to take a chunk out of Shira, he instantly sprang into action and with lightning speed he tackled Oscar and in no time he was on top of Oscar holding him down.
"Oscar let me teach you something my dad taught me, you NEVER touch a lady unless she wants you too." He said.
He then slammed Oscar's head on the ground and knocked him out.
"Think about that for a while." He said.
However, as he was doing this, he didn't notice Rico charging at him, but Shira noticed and with the same lightning speed she tackled Rico and with enough force to send him skidding on the ground and hitting his head on a rock and knocking him out.
"Nice move kitty." Diego said.
"Thanks, and don't call me kitty." She said, although she was secretly smiling.
"Got it." Diego said.
"Hey Diego, a little help here." Manny said as several sabers surrounded him.
"I'm on it." He said running towards him.
Shira saw him running, but then she noticed another saber coming for her, but luckily Ellie knocked him back with a tree log.
"You better keep your head in the game." She said.
"Got it." She said.
For the next few minutes, the herd battled furiously with the pack, Diego had managed to help Manny get the sabers off him and they continued to fight. Things were getting crazy, all the while Roark was watching patiently waiting for the proper moment to strike. He saw Diego take down another saber, and he noticed that he was a little winded, he knew now was the time.
"Ready or not here I come." He said.
He started to charge Diego who was distracted to notice him, but Shira saw him and instantly went to intercept him. Unfortunately Roark saw her coming and instantly turned to charge her and he manage to tackle her and force her on her back.
"I knew you couldn't resist me." He said.
Shira just spat in his face, although he just smirked.
"Ooh feisty, I like that." He said.
Diego looked and was shocked to see Roark pinning Shira to the ground, he knew what he was planning to do, and he couldn't let that happen. He quickly sprang into action and charged while shouting.
"ROARK!" He shouted.
Roark turned his head and before he could react, Diego tackled him which forced him off Shira which sent them both rolling into a clearing. They both got up and had a stare down, both with hate in their eyes.
"Do you always have to ruin my fun?" Roark asked.
"Trust, you won't have fun when I take you down." Diego said.
"Well then, let's end this." Roark said.
