Chapter 17!
Lisa looked like she was going to have a mental breakdown. After a brief moment, she stepped out.
She breathed, "You. Go ahead. Give it your best shot! Break me!"
"Oh, I see you've got a new tactic. You're pretending to be the person I most cared about. Who are your friends behind the pillars? Some of your empousai servants?" he shot back.
"Oh, you think I'm you. Get this through your head, I hate you! You killed him! The one guy who never betrayed me! He was 15 when he died! Only 15! That's not enough time to live a full life. You're even older than I am! Why is it everyone I meet has to die!"
"Oh, that a good impression of Lisa! She'd never yell at me unless she was really mad!"
"Sal would never yell at me regardless! Even the time I broke his nose, he didn't yell at me!"
"I was 14 when she broke my nose! Of course I never would have yelled at her! She was my best friend!"
"You think I didn't know that! Those were the last-" he cut her off.
"Words I ever said to you," with realization in his voice.
She kept yelling at him, "Oh, now you refer to me as a person! Well, just because I may not be immortal anymore does not mean that I can't whoop your butt!"
He clicked his tongue and said, "Well, I guess that's what happens when you've been tricked the first few times. Prove it. Show me you're not Kratus."
"Show me you're not Kratus." He pulled out a knife, and for a minute, I thought he was going to throw it at her. He made a cut on his hand, and held it up. His hand seemed to glisten, with water? He handed the knife to Lisa and she made a cut on her hand as well. Red blood with gold running through it seeped down her hand.
"Well, I know you're not Kratus. Who are you?" he asked.
"Most know me as Lisa Davis. But some refer to me as Cornelia Cinna minor or Caesar."
"No way in Hades. I know her. She's got ichor for blood. You, have really thick blood running through you. You really need to drink more water."
"That's the after affects. I recently got my immortality taken away from me. Good thing too. I'm finally mortal again." He laughed and she rolled her eyes.
"It really is you Lisa." He walked up to her and tried to hug her, but she stepped away.
"Question is, who are you? I know you're a child of Neptune or Poseidon, but you're not Sal, or at least the one I know. He died. Kratus killed him."
"I'm Sal Greenwood, son of Neptune. Born 1738 and was trained by none other than my best friend Lisa Davis. One minute I'm in a battle with a cyclops, the next, I'm in this strange place surrounded by strange people and wearing very strange clothing. I've lived this way for about a year and a half. Stayed in a hotel for about a month, been living on the streets ever since. Now, about an hour ago, I find myself unconscious on the floor here. I had hoped to find you sometime. I kept running into a ton of monsters and for the first few months, they wouldn't die like they used to. Now, they're back to normal, but it's very weird. Where am I? As far as I can guess, this is a dreamscape."
"Yeah, I came to the same conclusion. Prove you're my Sal, the one I knew."
"A flower that blooms late, is the prettiest of all."
Lisa asked, "Oh my gods! Lotus! Ok, its useless hiding you three now, come on out. It was actually useless the minute he sensed us. You could have killed us, why not?"
He laughed, "Contrary to what you believe, I don't harm someone the second I sense them. I only did that once and I got lucky that it was a monster and not one of the village kids."
"I remember that! I tried to sneak up on you and I could feel the air getting thick around you. The moment you saw me you calmed down though. Why?" She asked. Sal shifted uncomfortably.
He replied, "I really have a hard time calming down. Uh... Remember that time when I was 7 and I blew up that wagon? Whenever I get mad, I always remember what you said. 'Think about the ocean, calm and serene. Take a breath with each tide and calm yourself.' Its actually a bit easier when you're around. This past year, has been a nightmare."
She laughed at that, "You remember that, after all this time? I can't believe you actually listened. I used to call you for chores all the time and you never listened. Naughty, naughty boy..." We laughed, for the first time in a long while. He blushed red. This was the first real look I'd gotten at him, and he seemed only about 16 or 17. He reached out to hug Lisa again, but disappeared just before he made contact.
"Where-" Shannon asked, but Lisa cut her off.
"Kratus. That was to let us know he's here and to let us know that we're either going to rescue Sal, and fall into a trap, or try to get out of here and fall into a trap. He knows I'm probably going to be a logical mind. But, he is very wrong. I need to save him. He saved me a couple times, so I own him. You guys head out of here and find the exit. I'll find him and do my best to get out."
I heard myself say, "No, I'll help. You shouldn't go off on your own. He's my brother apparently and I'm not gonna abandon him, or you."
"Same. I'm sticking with you," Shannon stated. I turned to Nico.
He asked, "What? I figure that it was a given I was going with you all because we shouldn't go off on our own."
Lisa replied, "But I don't want you guys to get hurt. And we're only going to run into trouble."
Nico said, "Trouble runs into me, not the other way around." She smiled.
"What if the power Kratus wants us to beat, is Sal? What if he changed him? What if the same thing that happened to Luke happened to Sal? That'll be nearly impossible beat! I can't let you-" Lisa worried like crazy. Her brain was scattered, everywhere.
Shannon cut her off, "I'm sure that's not what happened. I can sense him. He's close. You guys have a bond like there's no tomorrow. It's almost as strong as Leo and Jason. He's your best friend of all time. I can feel it. He's alive and in good health, somewhere." Lisa took in a few deep breaths.
"That's what worries me," she was really scared.
Shannon asked, "Why?"
"If he's been possessed or something, he won't hesitate to hurt us. He has more power than Percy and Leo combined, and more than Andy, well, that he can use easily. He's focused it, and whatever happened, that thing has all his power at it's disposal. And that scares me out of my mind, because he can stop our hearts with a thought. He's highly dangerous. If you feel the air thickening, run for your life. Oh gods, I feel like I'm talking about a monster. Whatever you think, he's an amazing person. He can control himself, but he's the worst enemy you can ever have. There are many wonderful things he always does, that make you want to hug him, and then he does something stupid and you worry until your heart breaks into a million pieces. And when he comes back to you, you punch him, and he laughs at you for a futile attempt to harm him. He pulls you into a hug and you scold him. And... Well, that's the way he is. He's an idiot, but he's like my brother... and my best friend." I smiled. She talked about him like he was the greatest person on earth, well, to her, he probably was.
Shannon said, "Well, it seems we are walking to our deaths to save a man, that may possibly kill us, who Lisa thinks is the best person in the world. Puts your life in perspective. Just what is your opinion of the human race?" Lisa laughed.
"Oh, you're so lucky I am deciding to take that as a sarcastic and joking comment, and not an insult."
I commented, "Ooh! You just got burned, girl!"
"Which one?" Nico asked.
"Both."
"Yeah... True that. What would you rate each one?"
"Oh, Shannon gets a 3 in my book because that was absolutely random."
"Lisa's comment sounded like a threat to me."
"More of a warning."
"Yeah, I'd give it a... 5 because sarcastic and joking don't really sound well together."
"I agree."
Lisa shouted, "Will you two shut up?"
Shannon, Nico, and I all started smiling like idiots. "She cheered up!" Shannon applauded.
"No, I think the only thing that can cheer me up is walking barefoot on the moon."
Nico shouted, "Dr. Who! No, not you too! Hazel is obsessed!"
Shannon asked, "You watch Dr. Who, don't you?"
"Yeah, a little bit..." he confessed. We all laughed like crazy.
Lisa asked, "Ok, I have to ask this, then we need to go rescue Sal. Nico, weren't the episodes Army of Ghosts and Doomsday so sad? I mean, I thought Rose was gonna die!"
"Don't try to trick me into a fan-girl session. Get Hazel to do that. She forced me to watch it once and I somewhat liked it. Besides, Piper would kill me if I said I didn't watch Dr. Who. Or worse, she'd make me do it myself."
I asked, "What's Dr. Who?"
Shannon answered, "I'll explain later. Really kooky show."
"Kooky?" I asked.
"SAL. FOCUS." Lisa said.
"Yeah. What's the plan?"
"I can't come up with it. It has to be something hardly anyone would think of. Sal knows me too well. Wait, that's it! He expects me to let you guys come up with a plan that won't be nearly as strong as my normal ones so he can beat us easily. I need to go with my most common and the most basic strategy of all time! Divide and conquer! Ceaser, it was a hint from Sal! That's why he seemed odd! He's possessed by Kratus! The guy I love the most and the guy I hate the most in the same body! Argh! This is gonna majorly suck! We can't harm Kratus without harming Sal, unless... Boom! Mind blown! How did I not see it before? We have to shoot him with Cupids freaking bow! Kratus is filled with hate, if he's filled with love, then he'll be expelled from Sal's body! Sorry, I sound like the doctor."
"You think? I can't understand a word you're saying." Nico asked.
Shannon asked, "So we have to shoot him with my dad's bow?"
"Yeah, that's probably why Kratus took the bow. It's one of the few weapons that can cause real damage to him," Lisa answered.
I started to chuckle, "What are we going to shoot? A kiss?"
Lisa seemed relieved, "Genius! That's what we need to do. I remember hearing one time that each of Eros's arrows are someone's first kiss." My eyes widened.
I took a few steps back while stuttering, "I... uh.. I..." I noticed Nico's face turning red.
Shannon explained, "If you guys kiss, that should give us 2 arrows, but they'll probably appear by the bow. We don't want to give Kratus any advantage, if he gets those arrows, it would be bad."
"Shannon, who gave you that clip?" I asked.
Lisa responded, "I did. I got it from... Oh, gods! Draw the bow!" Shannon pulled the bow out of her hair and handed it to Lisa. She pulled the bow back. A pink arrow appeared. She turned towards Shannon. "When did you have your first kiss?"
She blushed, "When Leo came to say goodbye. Wh... Holy crap! That's, I mean, that's...?"
"Yeah. Well, lets go and shoot some sons of Neptune. Wow, never thought I'd say that. Well, I have one shot, lets make this count."
Shannon asked, "Why can't I shoot it? I'm a better shot."
"It's your arrow, you can't shoot it. Besides, I'm the only one of us who has actually shot one of these kind. If you need another reason, you either have to be Cupid, or really close to the person you're shooting. Non of you know Sal... or Kratus, closely. Here Shannon, take this." She handed her a small box that looked like a cell phone.
"Bow?" Shannon asked.
Lisa smiled, "Crossbow. Your arrows will fit it and, it has deadly accurate aim." Shannon grinned.
"Beautiful!" She replied and the thing popped into a full sized crossbow. "Let's go shoot an idiot."
Lisa said, "Hold up. Andy, I'm gonna count on you to distract him, he can't hurt you with water, just remember that. He'll have to fight you for real. Do me a favor and don't give any fatal blows. Nico, I need you to be ready to get Andy out of there and to fend off empousa. Shannon, give the empousa everything you've got. Do you have a knife or something?"
"No, I lost it a while back, when we were getting off that ship."
Lisa pulled a knife out of her pocket. She looked at it for a while before saying, "Defend yourself. If you lose that knife I will kill you. I need a shot at his heart. If he expects it, he'll stop it. You need to get him off guard. That's the only time the arrow will make it. Do NOT under any circumstances, knock him unconscious. I can't shoot him while he's unconscious. The arrow will affect me instead and I'll be useless. No, not useless, I'll start helping him, and trust me, you don't want that."
"Harsh."
She gave Shannon the knife. "Sal gave it to me. It's really the only thing I've got left of him. His home was destroyed, so when I went back, there was nothing. It was Greek fire. Some sort of conspiracy against demigods. Those monsters that were chasing me, I've been investigating it. For 260 years, I've been trying to keep the demigods safe. I have a theory to who's behind this, but I can't tell you. Not now. I'll explain later. Well, lets go." We traveled down a hall, that seemed to be made of stone, for a while. It opened up to an over sized room with columns around the edges. Lisa motioned for us to be quiet. She quickly dashed to the other side of the room. Nico and Shannon both went together to a defensive position. Lisa motioned for me to go over to the other side to reveal myself. I walked slowly, keeping extremely quiet. The boy I'd seen earlier was standing in the center of the room. A glowing gold light surrounded him. He had a pained expression on his face, like he was fighting something.
I stepped into where he could see me. "Are you Ok?" I asked. He turned towards Lisa, and nearly collapsed.
"Shoot," he said. Lisa shook her head no. "Get him out of-" He started to shake, like he was having a seizure.
A different voice spoke through the boy. The voice of the god we had met. "But you can't shoot him, can you? You can't shoot him, knowing you might kill him." I saw tears streaking down Lisa's face. She still had the bow drawn. He laughed, and held his hands up. A stream of water flowed from her face. It collected in a small ball shape, and then spread into rope. "I like this new found power. It is very-"
"Shoot!" The original voice yelled. "I will kill you!" The water dropped to the floor.
I said, "He's fighting you Kratus, isn't he? He's fighting you just like Luke Castellan fought Kronos. You can't posses him. I've studied my history, I know this stuff. You can't posses him. I challenged you to a power struggle and you don't have enough power to beat me, so you stole someone else's. Except for the fact that I can't be harmed by his power. Well, the only thing you have going for you now is the fact that I can't harm you with my power. So, that really puts us at a standstill, doesn't it? We have to fight. For real, no powers. But your afraid you'll lose in this new body of yours even though he is one of the most accomplished sword fighters my friend Lisa here has ever met." Half the time, I had no idea what I was babbling on about. I saw Lisa looked confused. At least that gave me time to thicken the air around Lisa, Shannon, and Nico, so that water couldn't hurt them.
He laughed, "No, I am in total control of this body. Shoot, and he dies. Just like Luke died when he killed Kronos." Lisa's expression hardened.
"I'd rather he be dead than be possessed by some freak!" She yelled. She drew the bow, but Kratus turned to face me.
He said, "And as for you, are you an idiot? That made no sense whatsoever. I can't believe how daft you children of Poseidon and Neptune are."
"I'm much smarter than you think."
"Let's see how smart you are when your precious boyfriend dies." He turned to Nico and held his hand up, but nothing happened. I smirked, and Nico seemed relieved.
"I think I'm very smart. How about you? It seems your the idiot now."
"Why is that?"
"Your powers won't work on us."
He drew a knife, "Fine," and threw it at me. I dodged the knife before it hit me.
"You need to work on your aim. My turn." I threw a knife, and it cut his arm, leaving a small gash.
He said, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." He made the mistake of turning towards Lisa a little. An arrow brushed by his skin. It was one of Shannon's arrows, not Lisa's arrow. I drew my sword. The god drew a blade as well. He started swinging it around like the idiot he was. I rolled my eyes. He attacked first. I blocked easily. "Did you train this one too, 'Lizzie'?"
Lisa yelled, "Do not, under any circumstances, call me that!"
"Why not?" He asked as he attacked again. I felt more strength in this blow and I had a hard time holding my own. I wasn't going to last much longer, so I attacked. My instincts came in again and I couldn't remember half of what happened until I had him pinned to the ground.
"Andy, move." Lisa said. She had the arrow drawn and pointed towards the boy. I moved so she could get a clear shot without hitting me.
Kratus laughed, "Oh, darling, I've only just begun. With you at my side, I could get this all done so much faster."
"In reference to your song title joke, we are never, EVER, getting back together." She let the arrow fly. We were all blasted back by a gold light. The form of Kratus we had seen earlier was standing before us.
"Congratulations. This was only the first test. You will have more challenges to come. And before you go, you should know, the wise are not always the most obvious." He glanced down at the unconscious boy and said, "Take him. You will need him soon." Lisa rushed over to him.
"Sal, Sal, come on, get up." She repeated, over and over, until he finally cracked his eyes open a little.
He coughed, "Lizzie?" She smiled, the happiest smile I'd ever seen stretched across her face.
"Yes, are you alright?" she asked sweetly. What the Hades?
"Go on, tell me I'm a stupid idiot and to never do that to you again," he said. She laughed.
"You said it yourself. Come on, get up. We have to go. The dreamscape will be collapsing soon."
I interrupted, "Lisa, could a dreamscape be interpreted as the deadest land?"
"I guess. The lost would definitely be Sal here. I think there were a lot of double meanings in that prophecy."
Shannon said, "I think we misinterpreted the loving too. I think that was all of us. I mean, Kratus could've killed you easily, but Sal was pretty much stopping him. Andy stopped Nico from dying. And I'm a daughter of Cupid, but I don't think the prophecy really referred to me at all. The lost also could have been Cupid's bow. But, who would the traitor be?"
"No idea, we all know I'm the thief. Daughter of Hermes. But I've hardly ever stolen anything."
"Wait, that was me! Not you! If you've hardly stolen anything, you couldn't really be the thief. I was the thief because when I was little, I was living on the streets and the only way I could survive was to steal."
The boy asked, "What prophecy, Lizzie?"
She smiled, "You shall journey to the deadest land
With the thief, the ghost king, and the dam
To a land without love, or a single wise thought
The wisest and the loving will save you of all
You will find the lost and expose the traitor
And soon all will know whom is greater."
He said, "Well, that's not cryptic at all. I guess dreamscape would certainly be the deadest land. Thief, we have figured, is you. Ghost king, son of Hades. Dam, daughter of Neptune. Kratus created this place, so there is no love, and he is definitely not wise. Loving was Lizzie, while wisest was daughter of Neptune. All means me and Kratus."
Lisa cut him off, "Can you please use proper grammar, for once?"
"And there's the Lizzie I know! Lost is the bow, traitor would be me. The last line is more of a conclusion. Trust me, I'm good at this sort of stuff." He concluded.
"We have to go, now." Lisa tried to help Sal up. I saw he was too weak to move, so I used my powers to move him. A white light had appeared at the end of the room and we went through it. We found ourselves at Camp Half-Blood.
Nico stated, "Well, this is certainly strange." I noticed we were back in our normal clothes. Sal was wearing a sea green t-shirt and jeans. How the Hades did we go from Florida, to New York in 5 seconds? We were in the stables. Great, we were so going to reek! I wasn't the worst off, Shannon landed with her foot in a pile of poo.
We went to the Big House, with Lisa mainly supporting Sal. Actually, I was supporting him with my powers, but she helped him walk and all.
Shannon said, "Random thought here, do you know our names?"
Sal responded, "No."
"Well, I'm now know as Lisa, but you can still call me Lizzie, it's just another variation on Elizabeth. Shannon is the blonde mess. Nico is the son of Hades. Andromeda prefers to be called Andy and she's your sister."
"Alright, Lisa," teasing her. "Have you changed your name since I met you?"
"Nope," she replied, popping the 'p'. He smirked. We came up on the Big House, to Dyonisis, sitting, playing a card game with Chiron and Eros. When Eros saw us, he jumped up.
"What happened! You're all a fashion nightmare!" He shouted.
Lisa said, "I don't believe I just heard a god other than Aphrodite say that..."
"Well, if you keep insulting me, I won't remove your curse." He said.
"What curse?" Sal asked.
Lisa answered, "A while back I upset him for something and he still hasn't forgiven me. He pretty much ruined my love life, or any chance I had at one. Most guys just used me."
"Give me the bow, and I'll remove it." He said.
Lisa said, "Prove you're Eros. I'm not about to hand over a bow, I might not have, to some impostor." He place a hand on her forehead and murmured a few words. She nodded and took out the bow which had transformed back into a hair clip. "The quest wasn't about the bow, was it? You knew something worse was coming, with all the monsters working together. You wanted to see who the traitor was among the gods, and that was Kratus. Nice job. I think though, we could use a little help from some triplets we know to do this. We are going to need spies."
"I'll do my best to get them here as soon as I can." he shook her hand and popped out. Lisa smiled even wider than I had seen her before.
"Do you guys think you can get him down to the infirmary? I have to do something, or I'll be stuck like this forever." She asked. I didn't understand, but agreed.
Dyonisis said, "Run along Ceaser!" Lisa laughed. I saw her head into the forest.
We grabbed Sal and brought him down to the infirmary. Will was on duty, so he naturally thought it was Percy. "What happened to you guys?" We sat Sal down on a bed. Will gave him some nectar and ambrosia, then told him to go to sleep.
Before he drifted off he said, "Go find Lizzie. She'll be in a lot of..." he didn't finish his sentence. I ran out the door and to the woods. I had an idea of what he was going to say. As I neared the forest, I could hear strangled cries. I found Lisa writhing on the ground, changing shape every instant. Only her eyes stayed the same color.
"Don't touch me! I'm changing back to my original form." She managed to say in between gasps. I sat near her as she changed form. It was sad that I couldn't even try to help her. After about 2 minutes she stopped changing form. I saw why she was cursed almost immediately. She was absolutely gorgeous. More beautiful than Psyche and Piper combined. No makeup, and she seemed perfect. She radiated the kind of beauty every girl wanted to have.
I asked, "Lisa, what exactly did you do to anger Eros?"
"All I did was give him a normal quiver of arrows when he went shooting with Apollo, and I've been cursed ever since."
"Well, I know the real reason you were cursed."
"What?"
"Did you ever see yourself in your original original form at around the age of 16?"
"I'm not sure, his curse may have changed my appearance."
I stared at her dumbfounded. "Lisa, I think there may be a little bit of Phthonus following you around. I think Psyche was jealous. Well, come on down to the infirmary, we should get you checked out."
"You too, I think you hit your head." I lead her out of the forest and down to the infirmary. When we walked in Will immediately walked over to us.
He put his arm around he rand asked, "What can I do for you, Bella?" I'm not sure what she said exactly, but I think she started cursing him in Italian. Shannon and Nico looked horrified, and that was enough for me. She was also really loud. I think she woke up Sal, because he groaned.
"Lizzie! Stop cursing in Italian. You know I hate it when you do that. A lady always hold her tongue." He shouted.
She marched over to him and said, "Got news for ya buckaroo. This is a free country now and I can curse in whatever language I want, except for Spanish, never learned Spanish..." I laughed.
"I noticed," he said while struggling to sit up. He saw her face and said, "Holy Hera! I can see why you were cursed!"
"Why does everyone say that! Mary! Can you help me? Will's being an idiot!" She yelled.
Shannon commented, "Way to be subtle." A girl with freaky blonde hair in a pixie cut walked over. She had startling blue eyes. I could tell she was a daughter of Apollo by the way she was so perky, yet serious.
"What did he do?" She asked.
Lisa said, "He's being an idiot. Taking up space, doing nothing. I could've gone through each of them by now if Sal here wasn't so convinced I was in pain. I feel perfectly-" She clutched her stomach, "Ok, maybe not fine." She ran to the bathroom and started to puke in the toilet. It sounded disgusting.
"What happened?" Mary asked.
Sal answered, "She just changed form for the very last time. She's mortal now, so it affects her strongly."
"Yeash! She'll need some ambrosia. What about you guys? Where's Lisa?" She asked.
I answered, "Well, Sal got possessed, Nico nearly was drowned, Shannon just needs to be checked for injuries, and I feel perfectly normal. Oh, and that was Lisa." I was suddenly aware of a sharp pain in my side.
Sal said, "You're not fine. You got cut with a poisoned sword, sorry about that, and Shannon has a concussion. Nico is about to collapse as well." Sure enough, Nico looked paler than normal.
Mary said, "Good work. I may recruit you if WILL DOESN'T CLEAN UP HIS ACT!" She shouted it loud enough for Will to hear.
He yelled back, "Hey! It's my last year, I'm not gonna be here next summer!"
"GOOD! We'll get more work done!" She countered. He didn't respond, but we heard faint laughter. "You guys, hop up on a bed, I'll be there in a sec." Lisa came back. "Oh, Lisa, have a seat. I need to deal with Andy first." The pain became sharper. It hurt more and more each second. I sat down and let her pull up my shirt to where the cut was. My shirt had soaked through, and I didn't even notice. She took some nectar and poured it on a cloth, then pressed it into my cut. It hurt like Hades. I did my best not to cry out, but at first, I had to, the pain was unexpected.
"Oh gods! That hurt. Please tell me there's no more." I asked.
She said, "Sorry, I have to disinfect it. The nectar got the poison out, but I need to clean the wound with alcohol. This is gonna hurt a lot more." She brought over another cloth and cleaned out the wound. I managed to not cry out, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't keep the look of agony off my face. Lisa looked at me with concern, but didn't say anything.
"Ouch," I managed when she was done. She laughed.
"Oi! I'm supposed to be cheering you up. Not the other way around." She joked. She was pretty friendly.
"Just pour some water over it, it should heal," I said.
Sal responded, "Sorry, there's a drying charm on that one. Water isn't going to cure it." I stuck my tongue out at him, showing my maturity. She expertly bandaged the gash and I could hardly feel it. Shannon got some nectar and received a clean bill of health. Lisa seemed to be fine, and Sal had to stay in the infirmary for 3 more hours, dinnertime. I stayed behind to ask about something.
"Hey, do you know what would cause me to have a freaky high temperature?" I asked Sal and Mary. Mary grabbed a thermometer and took my temperature.
She exclaimed, "109! How is that even possible? Didn't that guy who had a fever of 110 or something fry his brain." Sal laughed.
"It's alright. It pretty much means your powers are coming in. Lizzie totally freaked out, because whenever she was around, I would either be asleep, or creating so much heat, she couldn't get closer than 1 foot." He assured me that I was alright. "Go and rest."
I scoffed, "You're not the boss of me. I've been at camp longer."
I heard a familiar voice behind me, "But I am the boss of you and I say you need to go and rest after we have a little conversation." It was Percy. I smiled.
"It's nice too be back. We hardly got attacked, Only once. Kratus didn't put up much of a fight either," He seemed perplexed. Sal started laughing.
He asked, "You don't call that a fight? What's your idea? He got lucky with that one scrape and I was trying to pull back, but I couldn't do anything."
Percy said, "Tell me what happened. From the beginning."
Yeah! So I forgots to mention my awesome friend Bethany who reviewed! Yeah! #11! You get 10 brownie points Bethany.
