Ch. 7

"I…um…well you see…" I said as I stared into Enchanted eyes.

There was no way of getting out of this situation. I didn't know what I was going to do. I couldn't lie, because how was I going to explain me turning from a falcon to a human again. There would be no way she would believe me if I said that this was part of a movie set. I couldn't tell her she was drunk or that she was imagining things for she was way, too smart for that. It looks like I had doomed poor Enchanted to death.

I let out a gentle sigh before I called Maggie and the others outside. I watched them rush out to see what the matter was. I had a feeling I was going to be in big trouble for this. "She knows." I said gently.

Hannah gasped and looked at Enchanted. "How?" she asked.

"She saw my transformation." I said.

"Miles, you know how many times Thierry tell you to be careful about your transformation?" Maggie scolded.

I sighed and looked down at the ground. I already felt bad as it was. I just doomed this poor girl to death and she isn't even my soulmate. Well, I haven't touched her to be sure yet, but she didn't like to be touch, however, I was hoping that would change when I became friends with her. Like that will ever happen now, since she knows that I'm a freak.

"What in the hell is going on?" Enchanted asked sounding pissed and crossing her arms.

"Why don't you come inside and we will explain everything to you." Delos said gently as he was glaring my way.

I watched her sighed and followed everyone in. I followed in after her, but I kept getting glares and hated looks from everyone. However, it was my fault and I will take any punishment that would come my way. I would even take Delos's and Maggie's long lectures that make my ears bleed-not literally-again if I must.

We all went into the living room and sat in the sofas and chairs. Enchanted seemed to sit far away from everyone, but I didn't blame her. If I was in her position, I would be sitting far away from everyone, too. I kept watching her as she gave everyone a dark look, however, she didn't look my way.

That upset me for some reason, however, I didn't know why. I didn't want to be ignored by her and I didn't want her to hate me. I wanted her to look my way and I wanted her to notice me. I didn't care that she looked at me with hate as long as she looked at me. That was all I cared about, however, it didn't seem like that was going to happen.

"Now, mind telling me what the fuck is going on around here!" Enchanted said that almost sounded like a yell.

"What you saw was Miles transforming into a falcon. You see Miles is a shapeshifer along with Keller and Galen. While the rest of us are vampires, werewolves, witches, hybrid, and human. You see we are part of the Night World, which exist all around us, and we have existed for a very long time. There are rules of the Night World and they are that we are not allowed to tell a human about our existence and we are not allowed to fall in love with a human. However, all of us in this place have broken those rules. We are Circle Daybreak and we want to live in harmony with the humans and we want to live happily with our soulmates. In order to do this we must hunt down the Wild Powers before Hunter and the others get the last one. We have three out of the four, however, we need one more. For without all four, darkness will win." Thierry said. "So Enchanted are you with us or are you against us?"

"I have a couple question first." Enchanted said.

"Sure, ask right away." Poppy said.

"Are faeries, unicorns, demons, angels, werecats, or aliens real, too?" she asked. "What are soulmates?"

Everyone started laughing about the first question. It was not every day someone ask if those creatures were real.

"No, none of those creatures are real."Morgead said wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Good, because if they were real, then I would have some problems. I can handle werewolves, shapeshifters, witches, vampires, and hybrids, but I can't handle those creatures." She said with a smile.

My mouth open in shock when she smiled. She hadn't smiled since he been here. It wasn't a bright smile, but still it was surprising she smiled at all. I was glad I wasn't the only one with their mouth open. It had seemed she had taken everyone by surprise by just one smile. I noticed she was getting uncomfortable so I started to speak.

"Oh, to answer your soulmate question, a soulmate is a person predestine for us. We only get one and some of us never even meet them." I said.

Enchanted looked over at me and tilted her head to the side. Her eyes seemed cooled towards me, however, I do notice they are warmer towards me than anyone else.

"Then I will keep your secret." She said gently.

"So since you know our secrets, will you tell us yours?" Quinn asked.

"Quinn!" Thea gasped.

"It's not nice to ask people about a history that they don't want to talk about." Hannah said.

"Why did I have to be soulmates with such an idiot?" Rashel asked moaning.

Everyone was so busy arguing with each other that they didn't see Enchanted sneak away and I found that highly amusing. I got up and started to follow her out to the back of the house. She was looking up at the sky with the moonlight shining down on her. I thought she looked very beautiful with the light shining down on her. I started move close to her before someone pushed me into her.

I fell on top of her and felt her bare hand touching mine. All I could see was a pink haze and I felt like I was being struck by lightning. At that moment I knew exactly what happen to me and I was finally get what I always wanted.

Enchanted was my soulmate.

Person~ Well, it does happen believe me. I will go head and tell you what my person reason is. My mom died September 21, 2013 when was around the time I stopped writing. It took me time to get over it for I'm only eighteen. If you don't believe me, my mom's old funeral info is the link below. That is my proof, but if you don't believe me, then that's fine with me.
