Chapter 6

**Saturday**

"Hey Kaitlyn. Come to my house and hang out with me, my parents wont be at home till like 6." Mitchie texted her. "Alright, I'll be in 10 mins." Kaitlyn texted her back. "By the way, wear something nice! TTYL!" Mitchie said.

**Shane's house**

"Hey, Nate, my girlfriend needs something to be fixed in her room...can you come over in like 20 minutes with me." Shane asked. "Depends what kind of item needs to be fixed." Nate said. "Um..i think its her laptop or something, she didn't say what it was specifically." Shane said. "Kay bro, I got your back." Nate said. "Thanks." Shane replied. "Oh yeah, when you come, wear something...nice." Shane said.

**Mitchie's house **

"Hey Mitchie! What's up?" Kaitlyn asked. "Nothing much, I was just bored, so I wanted to hang out." Mitchie said. "Okay. Where do your parents go?" Kaitlyn asked. "I'm not sure..some kind of "grown up thing" by the way cute outfit." Mitchie said. "Oh thanks." Kaitlyn said.

Mitchie checked her phone and Shane texted her saying that he'll be over in 5 mins with Nate. "Perfect." Mitchie texted back.

"So who was that?" Kaitlyn said. "What? Oh it was Shane." Mitchie said. "Im surprised. You called me to hang over and didn't tell Shane to "hang over" instead." Kaitlyn said smirking. "Hey! I'm pregnant. We cant "hang" when I'm like this!" Mitchie said.

**Ding Dong**

"Hey Kaitlyn imma get the door, but for now just...here go on my computer and don't go downstairs." Mitchie said. "Okay okay chill pregnant woman." Kaitlyn said

Mitchie ran downstairs and opened the door seeing Shane and Nate.

"Hey babe." Shane said pecking a kiss on her. "Eww..hi Mitchie." Nate said. "So, Nate I need my laptop to get fixed. Can you fix it upstairs in my room?" Mitchie asked. "Uh..sure." Nate said. "Great..come up here." Mitchie said following the way. "Ok come in here. Ok bye guys. Have fun!" Mitchie said pushing Nate in and locking the door.

"What? Hey!" Kaitlyn said realizing what just happened. "Wait. What's happening? I'm here to fix Mitchie's laptop." Nate said. "Well, I know my friend well and I say that she's setting us up." Kaitlyn said trying to open the door. "Why would she do that?" Nate asked. "Um..long story really." Kaitlyn replied. "Mitchie! Open the damn door!" Kaitlyn said banging on it. "Shane! Get us out." Nate yelled. "Dude, Shane and his girlfriend is planning it together..its no use. They are..evil." Kaitlyn said. "But wait shhh." Nate said.

They heard nothing. Not even a single pindrop.

"Wait. Did they lock us in forever?" Kaitlyn said. "Yep. And I bet they left us meaning they're out of the house and outside somewhere." Nate said. "Ohmygod!" Kaitlyn screamed.

Mitchie and Shane laughed, sitting on the porch outside of the house. "They're screaming like crazy." Mitchie said. "It is pretty funny, and you are so mean." Shane said. "What? I'm just tryna help my friend and your bro here." Mitchie said. "Ohkay ohkay." Shane said.

"MITCHIE! SHANE GET US OUT!" Kaitlyn shouted. "Dude, they wont quit. We have to "mingle and talk" then they'll let us out." Nate explained. "Oh..." Kaitlyn said.

10 minutes later, Kaitlyn was sitting on the floor and browsing Mitchie's laptop. Nate was just sitting there resting.

"Hey you guys better tall or something or we're not letting you out!" Shane yelled upstairs.

Kaitlyn screamed in frustration. "Hey...hey no need to fuss, lets just talk and get this over with. Okay?" Nate asked. "Fine." Kaitlyn said. "Okay lets start with the basis..um..whats your favorite color?" Nate asked. "I like the color blue." Kaitlyn said. "Oh..i like the color blue too. How about your favorite food?" Nate asked. "Um, that's a toughie. I cant decide. I eat everything." Kaitlyn laughed then Nate chuckled. "Well, I like pizza the most." Nate said. "Ok my turn to ask...whats your favorite movie?" Kaitlyn asked. "Um..I like The Hunger Games. I really like their acting." Nate said. "I love that movie...i recently watched Catching Fire, and I'm planning to watch Mockingjay this year..maybe you can come with? I mean Mitchie doesn't like this movie so.." Kaitlyn said. "Sure, I'd go. Same, Shane doesn't like it either..no wonder Shane and Mitchie are together. They're compatible." Nate said smiling warmly. "Yeah..." Kaitlyn said blushing. It was quiet and awkward for a minute. "Hey, I wonder what those two lovebirds are doing?" Nate asked. "Yeah. Lets call them." Kaitlyn said. "Um...before you do...can I have your phone number? I mean its just like friend to friend." Nate said. "Sure okay." Kaitlyn said giving him her phone number. "Ok great." Nate said.

Mitchie accidentally giggled loudly and they heard her.

"MITCHIE! I HEARD YOU..WE TALKED...NOW LET US OUT!" Kaitlyn said. "Ok ok fair." Mitchie said opening the door.

"Mitchie imma talk to you later, but I gotta go now...bye Nate." Kaitlyn said rushing out the doors. "Uh..yeah me too. Bye guys." Nate said then went out.

"Ha. I guess this plan worked. Nice work baby." Shane said. "You too." Mitchie said.

"Wait..Kaitlyn!" Nate called out. "Yeah?" Kaitlyn asked. "Umm...nothing...bye." Nate said. "Uh. Ok bye talk to you later." Kaitlyn said.
