The next morning I woke before Bella who was taking up the whole bed. Her hair was a giant tangled mess around her. I kissed the top of her head.
"Darlin time to get up." she groaned and pulled the fluffy covers over her head. There was a long loud honk from outside. She jumped up and looked at the clock.
"Shit" She yelled as she fell out of bed and began hopping around the room looking for her clothes. I got up and waved at the window and saw an annoyed Rose in papa's truck. Bella had managed to put her bra and tank on and put her hair in a very messy pony tail. I watched her little butt stick out from the bottom of her under wear.
"Where is that damn boot." she growled looking under the bed. She found it and tugged it on and ran towards our door. I took a seat on the bed.
"Bells you forgettin sumthin." I could feel my eyebrow raised. She rolled her eyes and ran towards me and kissed my mouth. She took off towards the door again.
"Darlin?"
"Babe i'm late."
"Alright, did you grab your phone." she went to pat where her pocket would be and then had a shocked face.
"Smartass" she stomped over and picked up some cut offs. I laughed and gave her a giant hug.
"Love you darlin." she smiled and kissed me again then ran out the door. When I rolled out of bed I noticed her ring was on the night stand after I got dressed I put it in my pocket then went downstairs just to be greeted with a large box.
"Bout time sleepy head, now go joined that oso in the yard." Maria hurried back into the kitchen before I could ask about breakfast. I went outside and saw Jack and Emmett in the yard.
"Look who decided to grace us with his presence." Emmett growled as he hammered a steak into the ground. Papa was gnawing on the cigar again. I dropped the box by the others.
"Now son, you start untangling those light."
"Why does he get the easy job?" Emmett whined as he went and got another steak.
"Shut it boy." Papa growled as sat in a chair and held his chest a little. "Jas, I need you to take the truck into town again. One of my friends is loaning us an arch. Plus as best man you need to go pick up the rings from Frank."
"No problem." I started untangling the lights as Emmett finished putting the steaks in. A couple of ranch hands came and helped us put the huge tent up. We heard a honk and saw the party rental truck had brought the chairs and tables. I was helping when papa said it was time to for me to go. I followed the direction and picked up the arch and then headed to the jewelry store. The guy I remembered as Frank waved at me as I came in.
"Is that the Whitlock boy." I heard a woman voice say from the back.
"Yes ma'am." I shook both their hands, Frank went a got the small box from the back.
"Well I got it resized and cleaned, I also found a band that matches it." Frank said as he handed me the rings.
"Resized?" I asked as I opened the box. It was grans ring. Rose was really close to gran.
"So how's little lady you told me about." The woman said as she handed me a bag for the boxes. "She still have that ring."
"Yeah, wears it as a friendship ring." she gave me a sympathetic look. "It needs a good cleaning though, going to purpose tonight."
"No problem I'll get started right away." she took the ring and disappeared back to the back.
"So big day tomorrow, Jack is having us bring our grandkids out tonight." Frank said leaning against the counter while we waited for Lily.
"Yeah Rose wanted a flower girl and ring bearer. Thank you for letting us borrow them."
"No problem, Jack is an old friend, and honestly son I'd be afraid to cross that Maria." We both laughed as Lily brought back the ring. It looked brand new.
I made it back to the ranch and told Jack what I was planning. He chuckled and asked me to follow him. We went to the barn and grabbed our horses.
"Papa, do we have time for a ride?"
"Son there is always time for a ride."
We rode for about ten minutes to a small thicket of trees and Jack got off then tied his horse to one the trees.
"Your dad made this for your mom. They use to come here all the time." He walked into the small group of trees. Behind the small group of trees was a clearing with a small gazebo in the middle. He took a seat on the old bench. I took the seat across from him.
"After your daddy died your mom never came back here, but she didn't want to destroy it." he paused and sounded a little choked up.
"I wish I knew him."
"You're a lot like him. He was a good man. He loved you and your sister." I just nodded and bit the inside of my mouth.
"Papa we should probably head back."
"Don't worry son, we'll head back soon." He got up and put his hand on a post by the entrance of the gazebo."Yeah, he loved her something fierce but he also loved his country. It got real bad where he was out and he sent me a letter. I got it a month after they told us he was killed in action."
"You okay papa?' I whispered as I joined him. He had his hand over a carving and was trying to silently steady himself.
"He wanted me to tell you." He was starting to choke on his words a little. " He, I think he knew he wasn't coming home."
I was a little worried, my whole life no one ever talked about what happened. Jack gripped the post and started to talk again.
"He wanted you to know he loved you. And that if you ever met the love of your life hold onto her. Don't let anything come between you." He moved his hand and I saw a heart with my parent initials in it. "Marriage is the hardest thing you'll ever do. Are you sure you're ready?"
"Yeah" My fingers were tracing the carving.
"Good because I really like that girl." He patted my back and went to the horses. He huffed a little as he got on his horse.
"Papa, you think dad regretted leaving?"
He paused and thought really hard. He looked at the ground looked like he bite his mouth.
"I think he regretted leaving while you were so young, but I don't think he regretted joining the army." After that we chatted about the wedding tomorrow and how he was going to shoot Emmett if hurts our Rosie. After we got back to the group I grabbed a couple strands of lights and a small battery. I put the lights up in the small gazebo and swept it out a little. My phone went off realizing how late it was.
If you're late to my wedding rehearsal I'll make sure I never have any nieces or nephews. Love-rose

I ran back to the house, and listen to Maria yelling something in spanish to some people running in and out of her kitchen.
" , is here." She yelled as I clomped up the stairs. Bella had already left but her perfume still hung in the room. I smiled and changed quickly then half ran downstairs. I made it over to the wedding area were Emmett was playing with catch with a pillow and a small boy. Bella was showing a little girl how to throw petals from a basket. She was so good with kids. She looked up at me with a smile.
"She is a beautiful girl." Frank sneak up behind me. He really was sneaky.
"Yeah, and now I know why Lily said she was going to get you a bell." We both chuckle and he goes over to the small kids. Bella gave me a sad smile and walk over to me slowly.
"Jasper, please don't be mad I'm so sorry." She was on the verge of tears. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head.
"Oh my darlin girl, what's wrong." She started crying and was mumbling into my shirt. "Darlin" I held her face in my hands and wiped away the tears with my thumbs. "Hey, hey. What is it my love"
"I lost my ring" she finally manage to puff out between sobs. "I don't know where." I chuckled softly.
"Darlin,it's okay. Don't worry about it. We can deal with that tomorrow." I kissed her for head again and wipe some more tears.
"Why do you do that?" Her voice was so soft I could barely hear her.
"Do what my love?" pulling her back into my arms.
"Turn an end of the world problem into nothing. It's very annoying" She laughed at the end and kissed my nose.
"I'm sorry?" I was confused by her words. She just kissed me again and ran off to wrangle everyone.
I watch her show the kids what they need to do tomorrow then escorted her to the front. After everyone was up front and the minster they found told us what we were going to do we all went inside to have dinner. Once dinner was over Bella stood up to give her toast.
"I would like to thank Jack and Maria for putting everything together so fast. I would also like to thank Frank and Lily for letting us borrow their adorable grand babies. Now Rose you have always been like a sister to me, and tomorrow we will finally be sister for real. Emmett, my brother bear. I'm so happy for you and wish you many years of happiness." She sat down and nudged my arm.
"I didn't know I had to have a toast for tonight. Um well. Congratulations I guess. I promise
I'll do better tomorrow sister." She glared at me as I sat down. I leaned over and whispered in Bella ear.
"Can we sneak away now?" She smiled and grabbed my hand with a nod. We excused ourselves and I sent a wink to Jack. He smiled and nodded as we left. I went and took her to the barn to grab Ciarra.
"I'm in a dress." She gave me a most serious look and played with the hem of the dress. I scooped her up and put her side saddle on Ciarra. "I'm going to fall."
"I'll never let you fall." as I got on behind her and kissed her neck. I wrapped my arms around her and took the reins.
We made it to the little thicket and I help her get down and told her to close her eyes. I lead her in the dark to the gazebo.
"Okay here a couple steps. Okay now keep them close." I went to the generator and turned the lights on. I pulled her ring out of the box and put it in my shirt pocket. I went and stood in front of her holding her arm slightly. " Open them" She slowly opened her eyes and gasped.
"Jas, did you do all this." she kept looking all around then at me. Her large eyes were twinkling from the lights.
"Just for you." I kissed her lips and she greedily takes more kisses from me. She broke the kiss and walked around as she came to the post with my parents initials.
"J D W and M A H" Her finger tracing the letters as she said them aloud. I went behind her and wrapped her my arms.
"My parents" kissing her neck as she turned to kiss me.
"Its beautiful here." She sat down on the bench and I knell in front of her.
"Jasper what are you doing." I took her hand in mine and kissed the knuckles.
"I love you Bella. I have for a long time." She smiled and just nodded.
"I love you too." She whispered her cheeks were bright red.
"When you were sixteen I actually bought a wedding set for you. I know then I needed to spend the rest of my life with you." Her eyes were filling up with water. "I've loved you from the day I met you and every day I find something else I love about you. Please Bella Marie Swan say you'll be my wife." She started crying. Not quite the reaction I was expecting.I stayed there frozen in place. Her saying no honestly didn't enter my mind. Things had been going so good.
"Darlin?" My voice cracking from try to hold a sob back.
"The ring you gave me was an wedding ring?" She finally asked, I nodded I didn't think she would get so mad. "The ring I lost." She erupted in more tears and sobs. I smiled a little to myself. "I'm so sorry Jasper." She put her right hand over her face and cried quietly. With a quick movement I took the ring out and quickly put it on the correct finger finally.
"You mean this ring?" She looked at the ring then smiled at me as she threw her arms around my neck causing me to fall over. She began kissing me her little tongue exploring my mouth. Things were starting to go a little to far so I broke the kiss and cleared my throat.
"So that's a yes?" I laughed as she hit my chest and rolled her underneath me.
"Yes, that's yes. A millions times yes." She ended each word with a kiss.
"We need to get back to the others my love." She agreed and we turned off the lights and went back to Ciarra. As we rode back she was almost vibrating from happiness.
"Darlin, you're going to spook Ciarra." I kissed the outside of her ear.
"I'm sorry I'm just so happy."
We made it back to the rehearsal and after I helped her down she ran off to Rose. They both started hopping together. Girls are strange. I saw Emmett charging at me like a bull seeing red. I threw both my hands in the air.
"I'm sorry I love her." I half yelped as I covered my self and closed my eyes. He started laughing and gave a hard playful punch in the shoulder.
"I'm just mad you didn't ask me or Charlie first bro. Congrats though." He boomed out still laughing at my flinching. Rose and Bella joined us, both mocking me. I looked at Bella and smiled at her.
"I did ask Charlie. He said yes." I said, she gave me a confused look.
"When was this?" Emmett slapped my shoulder again but had stopped laughing. I could feel my cheeks burning.
"Ten years ago." I answered softly, she came to me and wrapped her arms around me.
"I think I'm going to throw up." Rose said with a disgusted look on her face.
"Oh thanks," I went to go give her a hug when she puked all over my boots. I groaned but still pulled her into my arms. She was crying and apologizing. Bella appeared with some paper towels and a water. Emmett brought a chair.
"You okay baby?" He looked worried. He helped her into a chair since she was still crying.
"I don't know what happened. I'm so sorry Jas. Oh my god I'm so embarrassed." She was rambling while Emmett rubbed her back and Bella tried to clean her up a little.
"Hey, don't worry honey,boots are made to get dirty. And everyone is inside so no one saw." I crouched down to her eye level. "pretty girl don't you worry." She smiled and stopped crying. I gave Bella a quick kiss on the cheek then helped Rose to the house to change.
