We took the early shift at the booth around noon we were out of wine and it was time to get ready for the awards ceremony. Bella disappeared into Rose and Emmett's room while we went to the bar in our suits.
"Ed texted me said he got our seats moved over to his families table." Emmett said as we drank our beer. I growled and rolled my eyes. "Bro what's your problem? I thought you were okay with him."
"It's still weird." I swigged my beer as we continued talking about the trip. The plan was to go to the show right after the ceremony. If the girls every got downstairs. As if she read my mind we saw them enter the bar. Rose was in dark green dress and my Bells in a short long sleeve sliver dress. I smiled and kissed her head as we walked to the room the ceremony was in.
"That is a beautiful dress my love. You look fantastic." She smiled with a small blush.
"Thank you Katie let me borrow it."
"Well then I must thank Katie." I kissed her hand as we found the table and I helped her in her seat.
"Thank me for what cowboy." Katie voiced chirped from across the table. Bella explained I liked the dress.
"She looks better then me in it. I don't have curves like bestie. She needs to look perfect tonight." Katie was a little to honest. She had a devious smile on her face.
"You look amazing in anything you wear my dear." Ed kissed Katie ear and she turned her attention back to him.
"She is right sweetheart. You do you look very nice." Esme patted her hand and began talking to Bella about her partnership with her brother, whom was at another table.
"By the way thanks for the heads up about Marcus and Caius." I mumbled to Edward. He choked on his wine and laughed.
"I swear I thought my mom told you. Yeah Marcus wants to beat Aro so much because he said some less then tasteful things about Caius." Ed apologized profusely and I laughed a little and told him not to worry about it.
The ceremony started and I watched Bella look so interested and happy. She loved this business and I was proud of her. It was finally time for her award and they called her name as the winner of best new wine. She blushed and made her way up to the stage as we all cheereed for her.
"Thank you so much. This is such an honor. I would like to dedicate this to Jack Whitlock, he is the one who encourage me and helped me. I would also like to thank Jasper, for being supportive of me and believing in me." I could feel myself blush and had to punch Emmett when made the aww noise. She joined us at the table and I pulled her into a hug and kissed her lips forgetting everyone in the room. We heard a small cough and broke up the kiss.
"Congratulations sweetheart, I knew you would win." Esme pulled her into a hug then passed her to Carlisle who said pretty much the same thing and gave her a hug.
"My baby sister is wining awards and being awesome." Emmett half yelled picking her up and twirling her around. Rose rolled her eyes at him and gave her a hug as she congratulated her.
"Really, Bella you deserved it." Edward gave her a small hug but Katie gave her a big hug and whispered in her ear. Bella looked confused but nodded.
"I knew it was a wise decision to partner with you Miss Swan." Marcus shook her hand but Caius hugged her. They chatted with Esme and asked them to go to a show with them. Esme and Carlisle excused themselves and left with them.
"Katie said she has a surprise for us and canceled our tickets to the show. " Bella whispered into my ear before she kissed my cheek.
"I want go to Margritaville." Katie exclaimed as we left the ceremony. I raised an eyebrow at Edward.
"She heard to song last night and decided she wanted to go there. Then she found out there's a restaurant with that name at the Flamingo." He explained as Katie went with Bella to put the award in our room."Hey Bella still likes tea roses right?"
"Um, yeah, but I am really not comfortable with you giving her flowers." He started laughing.
"My mom wants to send her some flowers for winning. Thanks for the trust." I sent him a glare. "Yeah I know I have to earn the trust. No worries." he texted something on his phone.
"Maria said the kids are angels and that without Emmett around nothing has been broken in the last two days. She also wants us to give Bella a hug and tell her congratulations for her." Rose put her phone back into her purse.
"Dude I think that's your sister." Emmett said pointing to a group of security guards and a few cops leading a small thing out of the casino. Edward looked and turned crimson.
"Yeah, I'm not going to deal with it. Tonight is Bella and your night. I'll call our lawyer in the morning." I was about to ask him what he meant when we saw Katie and Bella come out of an elevator. Bella was holding her hand and Katie was looking at her with awe and concern.
"What happen darlin." I took her hand in mine and saw there was a little blood on her knuckles but it was mostly just pink.
"It's not my blood." She said smugly. Rose handed her a wipe from her purse. You have to love moms.
"She punched stupid pixie." Katie beamed as Edward check her for injuries. "Bella really is bestie." She wrapped her arms around Bella.
"Bitch called us Edwards whores after Katie refused to give her money." Bella smirked out and kissed my cheek. Rose laughed and high fived Emmett who was just beaming away. "Security guards took her away and thanked me. Apparently she had been propositioning some of their high rollers."
We all laughed about as we got into the limo Edward had rented. I tried to argue with him but he said limo made the most sense for the amount of people we had. Once we got to The Flamingo we went to the bar but Katie and Edward disappeared for a few minutes as we order margaritas. They returned just as we got our drinks.
"So cowboy, why you no marry bestie." Katie voice startled me a little and I turned a little red.
"I don't know, we just never really talked about it I guess." I looked at Bella who was blushing too.
"Bestie?"
"I don't know either, it just felt like we were already married and living in our own little bubble." Bella was blushing hard.
"It's true, they do everything together. A lot of people just assumed they were married so it never really came up I guess." Rose tried to help us out.
"Cowboy you love bestie." I smiled and gave her a kiss.
"With everything I have." Bella blushed and snuggled into my arms.
"Bestie you want to marry cowboy." Bella laughed and nodded.
"Ok good." Edward said as he stood up letting Katie out of the booth. Katie started laughing and clapping. She dragged Bella out of my arms, then her and Rose disappeared.
"Sorry man, this was all Katie's idea. Feel free to say no and back out."We went to a small room near the garden outside. "Also I had Maria overnight me this." He handed me the small box with the wedding band inside it.
"I don't know what to say." I stood there staring at the ring.
"Hey, if you aren't ready bro we can leave right now." Emmett said patting my shoulder.
"If Bella wants to I'm fine. I think one of the biggest hurdles is neither one of had a lot of extra time to plan a wedding." Emmett nodded and started putting the tea rose boutonniere on. "Just wish she had made up with your dad, I know he would want to walk her down the aisle.
"Funny you should say that." A woman voice said from the door way. It was Sue and my mother. I hugged them both. "Cranky man is upstairs begging her to let him." Emmett laughed and excused himself upstairs to see it.
"Thought the world had ended when Eddie here called me." My mom sad as she straighten my tie, now I know why Rose insisted on this tie. "About time you two did this, wish I had a little bit more of a warning."
"Me too mom."
"Seriously man, if you want to wait that's fine, Katie said Bella is waiting for your answer." Ed said holding the phone.
"Let me talk to her please." I said reaching for his phone.
"Now cowboy it's bad luck." Katie russian voice warned.
"It's only bad luck to see her. Please give her the phone honey." I heard the phone shuffling.
"Jas, what do you think?" She sounded a little scared.
"Darlin, I'm ready if you are." I could her her smile then laugh a little.
"Duh, stupid. I mean about my dad walking me down the aisle." Of course she's ready she honestly thought we were already married.
"Um well that's your decision, I don't want you to do something you'll regret because you're mad. I mean you are only getting married once." She laughed again and said she loved me. I handed Ed his phone back.
"Looks like we're having a wedding." the moms squealed and hugged each other. Sue then left to go help Bella.
"Well kiddo, proud of you." she hugged me tightly. "Now I'm going to go catch up with Esme and Carlisle."
"So how much do I owe you for all of this." I motion around the room. He threw his hands up.
"Nothing, this was all Katie's idea. It's our gift to you two." He seemed almost offended that I ask.
"Seriously man, how much do I owe you." He shrugged.
"Fine, how about you and Bella come to our wedding next month if you can. We'll call it even." We shook hands and had a small laugh.
"How about you be my ring bearer unless my nephew is about to come though the door?" I half joked.
"No, Maria said Vegas is no place for babies. So I'd be happy to help. Besides I think katie appointed herself flower girl. I am sorry she's so bossy." He seems to always be apologizing to me.
"Alright brother let's get this show on the road." Emmett bellowed opening the door. I went up to the front and shook hands with a minster. I saw that Marcus and Caius were sitting in the auidence with Esme and Carlisle.
Some music started and Edward helped Sue to her seat then went and got my mom and took her to her seat. He stood at the edge of the gazebo with a pillow. Rose and Emmet came down the aisle next. He stood next to me and punched my shoulder. Katie came prancing down the aisle throwing petals everywhere, she joined Edward at the edge. His kissed her nose and they both smiled at me. Then the music changed I knew she would be coming out now.
"Relax brother this is the best part." Emmett whispered as he nudged me. He was right. I saw her smile and it took everything in me not to run to her. Charlie gave me her hand and I silently thanked him. He nodded and went to sue.
"You ready?" She mouthed as the minster started talking. I nodded and asked her the same. She mouthed "Hell Yeah."
"Do you Jasper Daniel Whitlock take Isabella Marie Swan as your lawfully wedded wife?" The minster asked interuppting my internal laugh.
"Yes sir I do." I said loudly ,grinning at her and she shook her head softly with a laugh.
"Do you Isabella Marie Swan take Jasper Daniel Whitlock as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do." she stuck her tongue at me when the minster looked back into his book. He asked for the rings and Edward handed them to us. We said the vows and exchanged the rings. Her the band I bought her all those years ago. Mine a simple white gold band. She mouthed sorry to me. I shook my head and smiled.
"Now by the power invested in me by the great state of Nevada I pronounce you husband and wife. I kissed her lips then lifted her and spun her around. Everyone cheered as I set her down. She playfully hit my chest as I kissed the top of her head.
We went to the back part of the garden and had cake while everyone made toast. Emmett made everyone laugh with stories of how long it took us to get here. Rose made every one cry with stories of us being in love. I was watching Bella dance with her brother when Charlie sat down next to me.
"Thank you for letting me be apart of this." He whispered lowly. "I've messed up and I just hope my children can let me back into there lives."
"I think they will if you ask." I said I put my hand on his shoulder. "And thank you for coming." He went and asked Sue to dance. I decided I needed my girl so I interrupted her and Emmett dance.
"I love you ." I whispered as I wrapped my arms around her. She snuggled into my chest and sighed. After all the hurt and all the years I finally had all that I ever wanted.
