I'm baaaack! Hello everyone! Is so good to be back posting, it's actually been a while but I was out of ideas and I really wanted to try something new. I've been trying a lot of things lately and I decided that it's time I make return. You should check my profile since I put in there all I want to do for the future.

Cloud, Ignis, Prompto, Gladiolus and Nanaki stood outside the throne room. After the battle, Noctis was called by his father to be scolded for disobeying orders. Thirty minutes past since Noctis told them to wait outside.

" How long does it take for a parent to scold their child?" asked an annoyed Prompto. "I mean seriously, is it hard to say 'I'm sorry dad, I won't do it again, pinky promise'?"

"Knowing Noct he will argue that a king should never hide while his soldiers die on the battlefield and then his father will tell him that if the king dies so does the kingdom and the argument will continue like this for at two or three hours" said Ignis

"Aw, man!"

While the two were talking (well, mostly Prompto whining), Cloud was resting his back on a wall thinking about Sephiroth. He had a head start and Minerva only knows what he is doing out there. Had he destroyed the planet yet? Is he too late? Where there any humans left? All this questions were poping in his head and they were making him feel sick. Deciding that it's no good thinking of this stuff he decided to think about his family that he had left behind to follow a mad man. A pang of guilt formed at the bottom of his stomach. How were they? Will they be okay? They hadn't heard from him in almost a day now. Speaking of time he remembered that he hadn't slept for a while now. During the road to Luce he tried to sleep, but the nightmares wouldn't leave him alone. The nightmares…just when he thought he got rid of them they were coming back at him. Why Sephiroth can't stay dead? What is the desire that always makes him to beat death and come back to life? Is it to haunt him? To torment him? To make sure he would never forget about his past? Why is Sephiroth so obsessed with him? Is it because he was the one who killed him? Suddenly the throne door opened and pulled Cloud out of his thoughts. Looking up he saw Noctis making his way towards them.

"So what happened?" asked Prompto

"He said that I'm the future king of Luce and I shouldn't play hero, and that he will think of a punishment for me later and other things. Anyhow I lost interest in listening to him a long time ago." he told him. "Why can't he understand that I know what I'm doing and that I can't just sit on my ass while people around me die?!"

"Well now that the city is safe and we found what we were looking for I think we should make our leave" said Nanaki and then he turned to Cloud. "Especially you, Cloud since Sephiroth is still at large."

Cloud only nodded and turned to the other four."Thank you for everything".

"No problem, man! Now go get that freak!" said Gladiolus throwing his fist in the air. Cloud only smirked and left. Noctis was deep in his thoughts. Should he or should he not ask Cloud to…

"Go talk to him" Ignis voice brought him to reality.

"Huh?"

"I know that you have something on your mind regarding Cloud so why don't you talk to him, you may never see him again."

"Don't say that, Ignis!" Prompto yelled at him.

"You know that I'm right, anything can happen when you travel through time"

Noctis knew that he was right. He may never see Cloud again and he would leave in regret if he didn't ask him. Making up his mind Noctis caught up with Cloud.

"Cloud!" he called him.

They said man turned, surprised to see his friend. "Noct, what's wrong?"

"Will you fight me?"

"What?"

"I just what to see the power of a SOLDIER, the elite group of Shinra."

"But I'm no SOLDIER…"

"But you have the same powers as one…"

Cloud stood there silent for a second. He thought about what Noctis said. Why shouldn't he grand Noctis wish? After all he helped find a way to Sephiroth. "All right, I'll take you on. Where do you want to fight?"

"In the desert, so that no one could get hurt."

After leaving Luce, Cloud and Noctis stood in the middle of nowhere, ready to fight. While Nanaki, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus stood away so that they could watch this battle. Cloud took all his swords and fused them together. He wasn't going to hold back, neither would.

(Everlasting Crystal-Final Fantasy XV)

Cloud made the first move by charging towards Noctis. He tried to chop his legs but Noctis blocked the attack, then he tried a vertical slash but failed again. With one mighty swing he sent the young prince flying. He chased after him and they exchanged some hits in the air. When the warriors touched the ground they took two swords in hand and attacked each other relentless. They performed a deadly ballet. Dodge, block, slash were the only steps in their dance. When they clashed their swords it was obvious that the blond-haired hero was stronger. Kicking Noctis in the gut, Cloud took the chance and quickly performed Cross-Slash and sent his opponent meters back. Cloud then used Meteorian but Noctis dodged the projectiles. The hero of Midgar used sent a beam at Noctis from his blade. Noctis saw the attack coming and he easily moved out of the beam's way. What threw him out of guard was that the beam slip into two and it hit the prince while he was in mid step throwing him back.

'He wasn't joking when he said no holding back' he thought as he stood up. He equipped his costom made rocket launcher. 'But neither did I' he aimed his weapon at the golden haired warrior and sent a missile towards him.

Cloud side stepped the coming projectile and it exploded behind him. 'A rocket launcher? Seriously?' He charged towards his friend and jumped into the air to avoid another rocket. Noctis aimed his weapon at Cloud and fired. Cloud was about to cut the rocket into half but then he saw Noctis's smirk. His gut told him something was not right and a moment later the missile split into small pieces. Cloud cursed and quickly grabbed a smaller sword and began to cut his way through the rockets. When he was near the ground he fussed the swords together and dove towards Noctis. He slammed his sword in the ground sending debris flying everywhere. Seeing that Cloud has to take out his sword from the ground, the prince charged but was caught in Cloud's Finishing Touch. After that Cloud followed with an Omnislash Version 5. After Noctis got up he had a hard time deflecting Cloud's attack. Clashing swords again, Cloud pushed Noctis back again and with a kick in the gut he made the prince lose his weapon. Noctis was about to get up but was stopped by Cloud's foot on his chest and his sword who was a few inches from his face.
"Give up." said Cloud in a monotone voice. Seeing that he lost Noctis admits defeat.

(End of Everlasting Crystal)

"Well that was an interesting fight to watch" Ignis said out loud

"Cloud was kind of ruthless on Noctis" Prompto commented

"Perhaps Cloud was taking this as training for his battle with Sephiroth." Nanaki offered as an excuse for his friend. Truth was that Cloud only fought this way when he was facing a real enemy, this was only a sparring match.

"Still he could have hold back a little, I mean sure Noctis overdid it when he used the rocket launcher but Cloud never let Noctis took a breather. " said Gladiolus

"Cloud is used to this kind of fight because of his fight with Sephiroth. Sephiroth never held back when he fought and when he did he was mocking you so that you would make a mistake."

"I see."

(Back to Cloud and Noctis)

"I guess that the rumors are true then." Noctis stated

"What rumors?" Cloud asked

"That SOLDIERS are very tough opponents. Not many people can say that they fought a SOLDIER and lived to tell the tale."
Cloud merely nodded. He agreed that SOLDIERS are extremely tough. That was one of the reason he wanted to be a SOLDIER. He fought Sephiroth and those Underground agents and they were very hard to beat. He remembered the fear that he had two years ago when the Underground threat appeared. He feared that there would be Kadaj incident all over again. Cloud came back to the real world when he saw Noctis's hand glowing and after he pressed it against his chest all his injuries disappeared. 'Injuries?' Then the hero of Midgar had a revelation. He gave the prince the beating of his life! He even used Omnislash Version 5 on him! How could he do that?! This was a sparring match not a fight to the death!

"Don't worry Cloud, I'm fine." the prince said after he saw his friend's expression. "See? Not a scratch left." he gestured to his body. Cloud couldn't see any sign of scar. If not for the shirt who had been ripped in a few parts no one would have guessed that Noctis had been through a fight. "Now that's settle it's time for you to live."

(At the gate)

Cloud stood before the gate that will lead him to where Sephiroth. He didn't what he will find there but he was prepared for the worse by taking the Curaga and Firaga materias plus some potions as supplies. Truth was that Cloud didn't need material or potions but this was a special case. Behind were Nanaki, Vince, Noctis, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus. "I trust you that you will take care of Tifa and the kids." he said towards Nanaki and Vince who nodded. Turning his head to Noctis, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus. "Thank you, for everything."

"No prob, man." Prompto said "Besides you helped us out too."

"Yeah, if it weren't for you we would have had a hard time to stop the destruction of Luce." Gladiolus added in.

Cloud then exchange a look with Noctis. They were both smiling because they knew they would meet again and probably fight once more. Turning to the gate Cloud held the artifact near the gate and suddenly there was a blinding light than Cloud was no more.
