So after so long after chapter 6. I finally get inspiration to write chapter 7. School has kept me busy. But here we are at chapter 7. Also just not being motivated to write.

Asami enter the meeting room to see that there were a few people already in the room. The one that stood out the most was a man that stood tall and had golden hair that was short and neat. The clothes he wore were just as neat, even if they were casual. There was an aura that was not known to most people that he gave off, but she knew it was there.

"Lawless," She said somewhat annoyed, "I don't enjoy you just showing up whenever you damn well please. And turn off your god damn pheromones! They don't work on me and you will just cause another fight with Maxi and Amelia. Quite frankly I'm surprised you aren't tired of paying for the damages."

"You know I can't turn them off Asami," He replied. "Besides everyone is going to be outside." Asami smirked.

"At least allow me to show off my new business partners" She said. "Smoke! Scorpion! Sub-Zero! Show yourselves!" An entrance to hell opened and Scorpion jumped out of it. Grey smoke came out from the vents and once there was enough, Smoke was formed from it. A person made of ice formed and once completely created broke showing Sub-zero.

"I'll admit they do look like something," Lawless stated. "But they don't exactly look like they are from this world. The little world hopper wanted new toys?" Asami gave him a harsh glare.

"Ha ha," She said with sarcasm. "Let's just get started with this meeting." Asami dismissed the trio and the walked out the door. Why didn't they just leave the way they entered? Well Asami wanted them near the door just in case something happened and she wasn't talking about herself. As the trio exited the room there were a few snickers. All three of them gave the group death glares.

"Listen up," Scorpion said, "I would suggest you all stop those giggles right now, or I will make sure you will pay!" He took off his mask to reveal his flaming skull for emphasis. That shut them all up, as well as scare a few people on both sides. No one knew what the spectre looked like, and now they knew.

"Remind me to never make him mad," Amelia whispered to Sub-Zero.

"I know," Sub-Zero responded, "Asami has something planned for him though." This made Smoke who was overhearing them think for a few minutes as to what Asami might have had planned for Scorpion. In the corner of his eye however he noticed that something seemed off with Sub-Zero.

"Kuai Liang," He says in a low tone, "Is everything alright?"

"No," He replies with some pain in the tone of his voice, "Something is wrong with Asami." He lets out a groan of pain. That made things clear for Smoke that things were not ok. Two men made their way over to Sub-Zero. They could already see that his eyes are becoming reptile like.

While the cryomancer was having his own problems there were some noises coming from the conference room. Most of the remaining people ran into the room, but as quickly as they went in they were blasted out.

"Damn it," Smoke yelled as he noticed his friend getting worse. Sub-Zero then rips off his mask to reveal that his teeth had grown into fangs. "Kuai Liang! You have to fight it!" There was a chuckle coming from Sub-Zero's mouth.

"Foolish demon," He said, "Your words mean nothing to him while he's under the curse of the serpent." He lunged at Smoke, who quickly phased away. Sub-Zero continued to chase at his best friend, trying to bite him. Smoke was unsure if knocking his friend out would cause this mess to end. Scorpion however decided to make that choice for him, as he teleported in and punched Sub-Zero in the face. When the man fell over the spectre thought it would be a good idea to stomp on his chest too. There was a sound of pain coming from the cryomancer when that happened.

"Scorpion!" Smoke yelled, "Why did you do that!?"

"To stop him," He replied, "Or did you want him to bite you?" He kept his foot on Sub-Zero to make sure he had a hard time getting up and to probably make it so Sub-Zero would have a hard time breathing as well. Just then a young man with green slicked back hair and red eyes. He was with another man who had red hair that were like flames and the same colored red eyes. They both stood about the same height as Scorpion.

"Might I ask," Said the green haired man, "Why your foot is on his chest?"

"He was trying to bite his friend," Scorpion answered. "He was also saying something about the curse of the serpent." This caused the two men to look at each other.

"Go deal with Asami," Said the green haired one, "I can handle this one."

"You sure about this Lance?" The red hair one replied.

"You can handle her more than I can Angel." Lance replied. There was a scream heard from the conference room. "Better hurry." Angel runs into the room and a burst of black flame came from the room. Lance shoves Scorpion off of Sub-Zero and picks him up.

Suddenly, both of them were covered in black flames. There was a loud cry of pain coming from Sub-Zero and the flames covered him.

"Kuai Liang!" Smoke yelled out

Lance gritted his teeth in pain as he was taking the flames as well. After a few moments the flames changed to a normal color and then disappeared. Both men were covered in burns and their clothes were mostly burned off. Sub-Zero getting the worse off it. Lance manages to catch the cryomancer despite the pain that he's in.

"That was terrible," Lance says. "I'll be able to shrug it off. He however will not be ok. I doubt Asami will be ok either."

"Just who are you guys?" Smoke asked.

"Don't have the time to explain it, he's in a lot of pain right now. I'm going to have to take him to the infirmary." Lance picks Sub-Zero up bridal style and runs off. Smoke, was conflicted as to if he should see if Asami was ok, or to follow Lance and make sure his friend was going to be ok. As he was contemplating his decisions, Angel comes running out with Asami in his arms. She was covered in just about as many burns as Sub-Zero. Smoke followed the man hoping that both his best friend and his lover would be ok. Scorpion was long gone.

AUGH! College can just drain away some time to write. Plus I got a new laptop, so I had to transfer my story files over to this one. I don't know when the next chapter will come so hopefully I didn't make anyone mad by it taking this long.
