Alex: Happy very late Merry Christmas, Birthday Levi!
Levi: . . .
Alex: ...Well... this was suppose to be up yesterday but for some strange reason Yuki couldn't get onto her account. And she was very busy.
Levi: Oh please who the hell spends five days cleaning their house...
Mikasa: Shut the hell up and enjoy... please.
The man was floating in the air next to the girl. Her eyes had been wide in silent horror and revolution down at the remains of her once magnificent house burnt and black under the first rays of twilight. She had a reason to be like this. After all she was dead.
"Why are you so sad?" he had asked though he knew she would not hear him as he was little less then a wisp of air. He was not wholly alive but not a ghost either. Invisible and voiceless to anything and everything wrapped in eternal pain. The punishment for all his crimes he had committed in his world.
He didn't hold it against them. It was their job to pass judgement on him after all... Since his world did not have any true gods...
However to his shock the girl's eyes filled with knowledge again and looked up but her brown eyes seemed to pass right through his deep, hazy red eyes.
"Where are you?"
However, all that and more had been a long time ago.
The tall, pointed mountains overlooking the last of the human stronghold against the titans seemed to gut out towards the unreachable bright blue sky so desperately reached by so many. They easily overshadowed the walls below on the small but lush green valley below. It was also here where the humans water source ran down from one of the many tall waterfalls hidden within the cold, damp rocky walls that were scratched with crude and unseen drawings of white scarped against the rock. The browning trees outside unhampered and unspoiled by any human activity where the trees grew and animals frolicked on the cliffs near the ridge. But none were seen out today as a man stood on one of the ridges overlooking the wall of humanity. Anger and distaste were clear in his dark eyes. His fingers clenched into fists his jaw firm as the wind blew around him under the tainted blue sky. There was a small whitish owl perched on his shoulder, its dark silver lamp like eyes eyeing the structure just the same as its master. In an instant it had spread its wings, white and black and took flight, soaring gracefully over the sky over the hundreds of approaching titans below it. Soaring high and flying near the sun like a shadow silhouetted against the blinding rays as it flew towards the smoking walls.
The man watched the owl go. Quickly disappearing into the clouds and beyond his sight.
"Find her. You must know who she is... Even if she is now someone else entirely..." he said to the wind his his dark eyes glowing softly loosing their hate before he turned around and walked down the mountain path.
"Carlos... It has been a day late since he said he would return. Should I send Kyklo and Charle..."

They had all been separated. She didn't know how or why. The only thing she knew is that she had to run. Those were the thoughts that were going through Alex's mind as she ran through the street passed all the people running like headless chickens. From what she heard even wall Shina had been breached.
"But..." she said to herself as she watched the Titans. "They aren't eating anybody..." As she ran she came into an empty street the dead mutilated body of military policemen on lying against a structure that looked like a fountain. Alex gulped and as she was about to go back she felt a large presence behind her. She ducked and rolled just in time to escape the titans fingers. Alex looked back at the fallen Military policemen back at the titan and without a second thought ran up to the dismembered body before her quickly dragged it into a small dark alleyway and fiddled with the strap holding the 3d maneuver gear and other parts in place as the titans slowly approached her smiling that cruel happy smile.
"C'mon!" she hissed, hearing its foot steps come ever closer to her and stopped leaned down and leered at her through the small opening. Alex pulled the 3d gear free from the the mans body.
Forgive me! she thought, as she tied the straps around her body quickly but carefully feeling the tight straps cut into her chest, legs and thighs and feet as well as the weight of the sword/box cutter holders against her sides and securing the fan behind her. She looked back at the titan that was sneering at her.
"What the hell are you looking at!?" she hissed at it rather testily, before pulling one of the swords out of the holder and throwing it directly into its eyes. The titan screamed, reared back holding its eye in pain not noticing the tiny human ran past it or the fact that it was pushing the sword further into its eye blinding him. Alex looking up at the wall before her holding the switch in her hands aimed it at the ledge of the opposite roof before her and pulled the switch.
To say that it was a pleasant experience for her would have been a complete and utter lie. Alex was literally being pulled along at breakneck speed feeling as thou her entire body was going to be torn apart by the forces pulling her upwards. She watched as the roof came closer and closer to her but before she could reach it however she released the single hook and, suspended in midair with a titan reaching for her, pointing the other direction to a far away wall rose higher and higher in the air seeing the whole of wall Rose as she went watching as the people ran below her.
"Gotta find the rest," she thought, looking around not noticing that she was heading towards a low wall until it was too late and smacked head first into it momentarily dazed she fell head first to the ground below much to the shock of the two standing right below her.
"Alex?!"
It was the shouting that made her regain conciseness again and through the blood and the haze she aimed two hooks to the wall and landed upside down and hovering inches above the ground seeing two pairs of feet. One crouched down revealing that of Mike the other Atem.
"Yo..." she said, swinging a little as she dangled there before the two.
"Alex. . . what are you doing?" Mike asked, as he got her down.
"Oh... you know. Just trying to stay alive," she shrugged. "What happened?" she asked, as Atem wrapped some bandaged around her bleeding forehead suppled by Mike.
"We were attacked... I do not know by who or what," Atem said, carefully helping her up. Alex wobbled a little on her unsteady feet but stood up straight holding her forehead.
"Thanks anyway," she muttered. There was a call like a bird from above them. Looking up they saw an owl gracefully gliding down towards them.
"H-hey!" Alex said, as it landed gently on her shoulder claws just barely digging into the bloodstained shirt.
"That is... a strange thing for a bird to do," Atem commented, smiling a little at the scene. "Do you know that bird, Alex?"
"N-no." Alex said, and with shacking hands she carefully took it off her shoulder holding it under its wings and inspected it. It was a small Elf owl with neatly kept and clean darkish grey feathers, silver lamp like eyes and its wings were white and black in color. It was looking at Alex carefully before easily freeing itself from her graos flying back onto her shoulder giving it a gentle squeeze and then rubbed its head against her cheek.
Alex giggled slightly before holding it in front of her face staring into its eyes.
"Rose...?" she said softly, looking into its crystal clear eyes. As she looked closer she thought she could see fire burning in the creatures very pupils but Alex just shook her head and when she looked back it was gone.
"Mike... I think I found the scouting legions long lost mascot," she said, in all seriousness. Holding the owl under its two-colored wings towards the Scouting member.
Mike just frowned slightly. Not at the comment, secretly he had always liked owl, but at something more.
"That owl... has a strange scent to it... All most like burning ash..." he said softly, reaching out to touch the owl. It gave out a sudden ear-splitting shriek and would have bit his hand if Alex hadn't quickly brought her arm back towards her giving it a quick reprimand.
The owl looked genuinely sorry up at her hooting softly.
Mike's eyes fell on a strand of Alex's bandages that had come loose from the tight bindings and were now floating, rather oddly on the breath of the wind flowing gently past them. Like steam off of hot water.
""Well, well, still alive are you, Atem?"
Atem's eyes widened in shock. The wind suddenly died as a black substance fell over the four of them. A dark form was appearing before them.
"And to think that I believed if I sent you here with one of your most inexperienced priests to protect you you would be dead in an instant. One less god's light to deal with." Pitch sighed, as darkness spread from where he stood. Standing tall and lean his spiked staff held securely in his hands.
(...) (...) (...) (...) (...) (...)
"Ignore them, Hanji," Malik sighed, to the Scouting member and him watched Jonouchi and Kaiba argue. "They're always like that," Hanji frowned, and looked at the golden item in Marik's hand.
"Hey Malik?" Hanji said, walking a little up to him. When he looked at her Hanji took his hand pulling him closer to her. "I hear that this thing has the power to control minds right?" she said nodded towards the golden rod.
"Y-yes..." Malik said feeling uneasy at Hanji leaned in closer to him. Oh if his sister could see him now.
"Well... could you use ti to control a titans mind?" She asked in all seriousness.
"Are you kidding?!" Marik shouted. "I need for them to touch it first."
Athoris watched him eyes narrowing as he listened to the two of them talk.
"It can't be helped, sorry Hanji. You can't touch it either..." Malik said softly.
"Its fine." Hanji sighed softly thought for a moment and looked back at Malik.
"I've been wondering... what's that stuff around your eyes." she asked.
"Oh... this?" Malik said touching the black coal. "Its a sign of the people of Egypt. Its annoying actually..."
"Malik." Athoris spoke sharply glancing at him. "What do you mean by that?"
"N-nothing!" Mailk said quickly but Athoris didn't buy it.
"You are a priest in Atem's council now. A great honor to stand against the darkness. You are to show the upmost respect to your homeland and to him and the Gods. Is that not clear? Do not forget your debt. Atem may find it in his knew heart to forgive and forget but Ra is not so lenient..."
"I know..." Malik said and Athoris strengthened up still looking at him.
"Athoris, You shouldn't be that hard on him," Jonouchi said stepping forward and placing a hand on Malik's shoulder. "I mean... Its not all his fault."
Athoris glanced at Jonouchi and sighed.
"I suppose you are right. But..." his voice trailed off and then looked at Jonouchi intently. "Tell me... can you feel the red eyes at all now?"
Jonouchi's eyes narrowed. "No." the blonde haired boy said, placing his hand on his chest. "The first time I was here... it was overpowering for a time. Like the time you first gave it to me before you died... now I can just feel its faint pulse inside my soul..."
"I see. That's good," Athoris said breathing a sigh of relief looking to his left as six shadows appeared out of the smoke.
"Well... looks like we've found some of you," Rotto said as Jean, Nora, Armin, Atlas and Asher appeared behind him.
"Hanji... do you know what's going on?" Jean asked approaching her.
Hanji eyes narrowed the squad leader again. "Nothing that you don't already know or see," she said gravely.

Carlos... Carlos...!
The sad voice of a child floated into his misty mind. A reminder of the past, echoed throughout the young dark skinned boys mind and all throughout the hours his dark hair fell all over the pillow of rock under him. His head turning this way and that. His teeth gritted as if in pain as a cold sweat dripping down his face. The guards sneered at the flailing body on the cold floor chained to the wall with sharp spikes hanging above his head. Laughing at his pain just like how ones like them did so long ago not when he had defended a child. Caring not of what was causing it to him in the least. After all, why should they care about the pain of one when he was the one who has caused so much more to the "innocent?"
From his musky, dark cell Reiner gazed at the familiar figure across from his cell. His sharp eyes narrowed knowing what was causing his comrade to wither like that. He glanced quickly at Bertholdt, who still out cold on the ground but his eyes alert and fixed upon the other. Ymir was sitting with her back against the wall with her eyes fixed on the floor. Reiner turned back to the boy shacking on the cold stone ground.
"Carlos..." he murmured. softly under his breath the softness in his voice betraying him watching him as the hours passed by.
"Sina. You the one who will one day save this cruel world and make it beautiful once more. Do not worry about those people and their cruel chants and their evil worship. We are the ones who are right. Remember? Soon they will bow before you. Each of them begging to be forgiven."
"And... I will grant it to them? Father and sister says I should!"
"...Only if you wish it."
"But they worship Pitch... Just like the ones in the darkness dimension... right?"
"Have mercy... you have at least some of that. My dearest one... They do not know."
And then the young girl looked up at him. Her young dark eyes filled with childish wonder but also filled with the knowledge of her duty and smiled. And he felt as if his heart could sore into her old domain. So powerful was this goddess before him even with her power was locked away in this tiny mortal form. He pulled the goddess close to him saying to her that he would be by her side always just like Rose.
Of her being a part of the goddess Rhea reborn he was sure. They were all sure.
"I won't let father, you, Anne or any of the others down. I will be the best goddess ever... again. What's her name again?"
... Rhea... Annie, Sina... Forgive me... Carlos murmured as he opened his eyes seeing nothing but flickering light and a few blurred figures.
"Good to see your eyes a lot better!" Bertholdt smirked, winking at his fallen comrade despite the stuation.
Carlos blinked. Sleep still clouding his mind and he did not understanding the echoing words of the person a few steps away from him and then he smiled touching his green as grass eye and smiled.
"She really did a number on me?" he smirked. If Annie could see him now.
"Yeah..."
Heh. She still has it...
"Be silent, traitors!" a guard shouted.
"Traitor? Who are the true traitors!?" Carlos shouted, a look of fury about him his dark green eyes burning with anger and for a moment the military policemen fell back his gun slipping from his hand at the young boys fiery eyes. It was only after a Scouting Legion banged on the cell that he regained his composure stepping back into his own self importance.
"It's a shame that we cannot truly harm them," The man said glancing coldly down at Carlos tying a gag tightly in his mouth before throwing his down and spitting on the ground next to him. "Filthy Monster."
"I'm grow sick of you lot talk," Carlos managed to growl at him. Reiner gulped, and made a move to bite his lip but with a quick glance from Carlos. He stopped knowing the look in his eye.
Not yet... soon Reiner, Carlos thought and he and the other two heard including Ymir who looked up from her cell.
Carlos glanced to the cell next to Reiner.
Can she hear us?
Yes... and so can Eren.
Ahh yes. . . So that the name Grisha gave him... Carlos thought to himself his lip curling in a smirk, a cold fire in his eyes at the memory of his most trusted friend leaving.
Carlos... he can...
We are aware... That is why he sent me here to help. Your power alone would not help bringing what these fallen humans stole form us. We have also learned from Rose that you have been. . . slack in your mission... Is this true? Did you forget?
I... Reiner paused in his words, memories of the long ago past flooding his mind. Momories of the cell. The dark chants of the zealots, and the pains of hunger. And he felt revolted with himself.
Reiner... who are you loyal to? Carlos asked. From his cell Bertholdt looked at his partner his sharp eyes narrowing.
To the goddess, he answered.
Mmm... You also let Annie get captured though.
...Were you the one who attacked Rangako? Reiner gulped.
I though that there might still be strong minded people still alive, like Angel. Nothing but a waste of my time. Carlos sighed.
Really? And I though Annie was the only one with hope for these fallen people.
You should talk, Carlos smirked at him. But do not fear you will not be judge you too harshly for it all.
And why is that? Bertholdt chimed in.
Because I have reason to believe that Lady Sina is alive, the Spanish boy smirked as the ceeling colapsed around them crushing the ones standing below. One of the military policemen tried to run from the falling stone but found himself knocked to the ground and an instant later falling daubery crushing into him with enough force to crack his skull. There was a sound of a sharp sword cutting through the air. His eyes filled with crimson red. The last things he heard were the screams of his comrades as he lay on the cold stone ground, and the dark colored boots of the young man walked carelessly over to the two inhabited cells.
"C'mon... It's time to go," Carlos said, as he knocked down the doors to their cells holding several 3d maneuver gear in his hands. As they were climbing out Brtholdt looked over at Ymir's cell.
"What do we do? We can't just leave her here..."
"Very well... Chop her hands off and tie her to your back. And do it quickly he still have to get Annie," Carlos said, as he put the gear on. "I swear this is even less breathable then the ones Kyklo gave to us the first time."
"That... didn't really work," Reiner said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.
"She's the one who killed Berwick as well..."
Carols' fingers, busy tying the straps around his thigh, paused in their quick movement. "Oh... Is that right?

"What were you thinking leaving the Princess' side?!" a sandy haired green eyed girl, that Sasha knew had to be a boy if she knew Makoto and Minaka, was yelling furiously at the both of them.
"Well you see... It's not their fault," Sasha started.
"We did not ask you!" a strangely haired boy shouted back at her. Michiru felt on edge. This place had an evil air about it, but of course that was a given. Who knows what was happening to the princess. And these... titans... Were they not once used as instruments of Rhea to persecute the wicked? That was what the goddess Selean had told them before coming. Why were they doing this? Were they insane? Was something else going on? The water felt restless and angry.
Shasa gulped stepping back in her place to stand against the wall and eyes fell on a small boy/girl next to her who met her gaze. She had short black hair cut to just below her ears and dark purple eyes. She was dressed in purple and white in the same style as her comrades. Sasha's eyes fell on the long, thin double edged weapon in her hands and felt a very slight shiver run down her spine. She looked young younger then even the trainees herself when she first joined.
"Hey there kid, what's your name?" she asked her.
"Please do not call me a child," she said, stiffly.
"Er... sorry."
"...Hotaru... It means butterfly," she said softly.
"That's a nice name," Sasha smiled down at him/her and then looked back at the four in front of her. "Do you know those two?"
"Yes papa Harika and mama Michir..." Hotaru said, a small smile on her face, "They might seem mean but they are only trying to protect our beloved princess. Please don't hate them."
"Oh? Haruka seems too pretty to be your father."
"Haruka is a girl."
"I don't want to hear it." Uranis sighed her body suddenly stiffening and she looked towards the wall and her eyes widened in shock.
"PRINCESS!"
(...) (...) (...)
Hanji looked carefully around the corner checking it any titans were nearby. However they all seemed to have disappeared. Just like with Bertholdt.
"There's no titans for miles, Hanji," Atlas spoke up suddenly.
"What?"
"I can see you, but also not you. There's something else to it looks like Asher only not..."
"What?" Onyx's eyes widened and he looked behind him his eyes widening in horror.
"No..."
"Where the hell is he going?" Levi muttered looking to where Asher was going. "All I see it a lot of black..."
(...) (...)
"It takes more then that to kill me, Pitch," Atem said coldly, as he felt the presence as the millennium rod approach them. The puzzle glowed against his body in warning.
"So that is the one you're all up against?" Levi muttered, stepping next to Atem.
"He looks like that because his powers have diminished to the point of none existence. It is thanks to the actions of the gods, but don't underestimate him." Atem answered as Pitch servayed the scene before him. There were so many targets. His eyes falling on a disappointingly familiar figure staring at him defiantly. "Hmm... you are still alive, Onyx?" How long has it been since I last saw you? One thousand years? A week?"
"Whatever time has passed for you it's too soon for my likening," Asher hissed as a ribbon of blood ran down his cheek.
"Such impudence. You were a disappointment from the begging." Pitch muttered. There was a defining bang behind him but the bullet just went right through the specter.
"Touch him again see... what happens," Rotto said coldly as he stepped next to Asher.
Pitch smirked. So the nightmare I planted has taken shape... His yellow eyes fell on Atlas and in an instant they changed into anger. With a wave of his hand raised it into the air before him.
"You are nothing but mindless monsters without your dear "queen..." Pitch smirked tossing it to the ground fell on Eren. "Here, let me show you what killed her," he finished his yellow eyes gleaming as smoke rose from where his mark had met. When it cleared only Eren was on the ground wounded and bloody.
"EREN!" Mikasa shouted, and then charged at Pitch who rolled his eyes and stepped into the shadows. Mikasa's sword hit nothing.
"Mikasa behind you!" Eren shouted from Armin's arms as he watched a shadow against the wall move towards her.
Eirene clutched the sword to her heart offering a quick prayer to the gods of her world before approached Atem handing it to him. "Apis is with you," she said softly as he took. Atem nodded fingers clenching around the golden guard.
"You fight like she did," Pitch smirked, grabbing her by the hair which she managed to dodge and slash at him again. Pitch sighed rolling his eyes. A simple wave or thought from him could have sent this girl flying. Perhaps he would turn her into one of his slaves. The first one in thousands of years! He smirked at that thought. The boy appeared to be fond of her as well. What delicious sorrow he could preform here. True, he preferred children to mold and body to use up but... perhaps that small blonde haired boy next to him would do after he had...
A sharp blow to his back sent him to his knees. He straightened up seeing Ra's brat holding the accursed sealed sword in his hands which moved to the guard. As Atem unsheathed the sword a light as hot as the sun emitted from it and just as bright. A light so bright against the twilight. Pitch cursed hiding his eyes in pain.
"Sorry about that, Asher..." Atem said, turning to the fallen dark figure in Rotto's.
"What the hell ever... just kill him," Onyx said as Atem stepped forward.
"Are you okay?" Armin asked moving to place a hand on his shoulder. The moment the young boys hand touched him Onyx recoiled as if in pain.
"I-it's nothing..." he assured him quickly.
He knew now.
Rotto frowned. his eyes falling on Armin's left hand. Execpt for a bit of dirt, grim and blood that wasn't his own there was nothing, not even a hint of gold on it.
"Pitch... This has gone on long enough. In the name of the goddess I will avenge her death..." Atem said as he pointed the sword towards him.
"Ah... yes... the goddess. Her light was a bit of a pain to get rid of but it was worth it. True I didn't get any more nightmare horses out of it... Do you remember, Onyx? How she stubbornly held in her cries of mercy?" Pitch smirked looking over at him. Asher gritted his teeth together a remorseful look in his yellow eyes. On the ground below Eren, Mikasa and Arimin stiffened anger showed in each of their eyes each of them not understanding why. Onyx glanced at the three them his suspicions confirmed.
It all happened so quickly. There was the sound of a sword slashing through the air. Black smoke mixed with sand rose into the air where Pitch had been a mere moment before. A young dark skinned boy was standing with his legs spread apart a sword in his hands and a bloodthirsty look on his face where Pitch had been moments before. His teeth were gritted in a snarl like that of a wolf his sword out in an angle that suggested that it had just sliced through flesh.
"Damn it Carlos," Bertholdt said jumping down next to him as sweat dripped down his face as he stepped beside him. He showed no sigh of acknowledging the others before him.
"Did you not even hear him?! That self assured pig!. "He actually thought that he could kill Rhea so easily!" Carlos spat at him angrily, his teeth bared venomously eyes flashing before his eyes fell on Alex. On her shoulder Rose hooted happily at the sight of the three boy and, much to Alex's amazement, flew over to Garcia's outstretched arm.
"I see... It is you isn't it, Sina." Carlos said softly and all eyes fell upon her as he gently stroked Rose's feathers as the owl cooed happy to be in more familiar arms.
Alex felt cold sweat run her face as images of fire and decaying bodies ran through her mind. She clutched the side of her head eyes wide in horror. "C-Carlos...?" she mumbled as she fell to her knees.
"H-hey... what's going on!?" Connie shouted, turning to the fallen girl as he watched Hanji and Mikasa run to her side. He stopped and turning back to Carlos. He had no appearance of the ape titan in this form but he knew they were one and the same.
He felt his heart grow cold with blinding rage. He won't forgive them.
"No!" Alex shouted, grabbing onto Mikasa's uniform when she had knelt by her side. "Not again..." she whispered barring her face into the rigid green material clutching it in her hands. She didn't cry but her body just shook violently. To Hanji it reminded her of old comrades fresh from outside the walls.
"You do remember, don't you?" he asked softly, his green eyes looking at the girl softly moving forward only to leap backwards as a bullet was fired right at him. Rose flew for safety. Carlos stumbled back his shoulder bleeding a little. Had he not moved when he did you knew he would have been dead in an instant. Did such a small gun do that?
"Stay away from her," Rotto said calmly, stepping in front of the others.
"So you took me down back then? Sorry. It won't be so easy for you this time" Carlos smirked, his face then straightened and jumped out of the way as Mika's sword met the ground underneath his feet.
"If I'd known you were actually still a human instead of a mindless beast... well... Still I should have know. I've seen you once before." Rotto mused.
"Oh... I remember you," Carlos remarked, as his and Mike's swords clash against each other. "Yes... That man back at the castle. "The one who was saved by The Lady Sina." Carlos smirked, leaning in closer to him. "You should count your lucky stars she couldn't remember what happened to her by you people. Or else she would have left you to your fate," he hissed.
With a simple swipe of his sword he broke Mike's and with a well placed kick sent Mike on his back to the ground. As the elder scouting member straightened up he found a sword pointed to his throaght. "The thing is... Mike. I'm feeling a bit... remorseful today. And since Lady Sina looked to be quite found of you I promise your death won't be long or drawn out like it was going to be the last time... No I will kill you quickly. But what is the point when you don't even know sword combat?" the spanish boy smirked before quickly turning around and found his sword clashing against Atem's who looked at him and frowned.
Carlos eyed him conspicuously.
"I will not fight you, child of the gods. I have no reason to. Hurry up and leave our dying world." Carlos said as he blocked his attack not to easily. Quickly he jumped in the air just barely dodging Atem's sword. The next thing he saw when he landed on the ground a few meters away the sound of a sword breaking echoed throughout the area and Connie fell heavily to the ground. Quickly he picked himself up glaring at Carlos in anger. Something he was very used to seeing.
"And what are you so mad at me for? Hey, Reiner who is this?" Carlos asked turning to Reiner.
"That's Connie from Rangako." he answered.
"Ohh... that explains it," Carlos sighed exhaling a little. Careless in his manner. "Yeah. Tell me was that your mother I left on the house by the way?" he smirked.
"Y-you bastard..."
"... Blame it on your own mother for not having enough strength of mind to change back." Calos replied blandly.
That sword. Atem stood his ground as he and Garcia faced each-other eyeing his weapon closely. "Where did you get a sword like that?" he asked.
"None of your concern. Sorry but I have business to take care of," Carlos said before he jumped in the air leaping to a nearby building. Bertholdt following closely behind him.
"Reiner!" Eren shouted from the ground. The older looking man paused and glanced back at his old comrade lying on the ground eyes filled with anger and hints of betrayal.
"Tch... What is it Eren?" he said turning his head to his ex comrades general direction, "no... don't tell me. I know what you're going to say. Why I did what I did? I'm not sorry... You have no idea what you are doing by protecting this place Eren..." he muttered before turning his back on him. "I was a fool going against what we were suppose to do," he said stiffly before he left to join the other two.
"Well the shit really just hit the fan," Levi muttered, "as if it didn't already... Now the little shits have managed to escaped... Not only that but the titans broke through the walls."
"Yeah..." Kazuma breathed.
He and Kazuma both looked at each other.
"Yes Levi," Erwin sighed, "however, I think it's time we finally had some answers to all this," the scouting legion commander said turning to Alex. She was still sitting on the ground with her legs folded underneath her and still holding her head as if in a state of pain and half in a nightmare. She blinked eyes focusing and her body became still as she looked up at the legion member standing above her.
"You know more then you let on... don't you?" he said, kneeling down to her eyes level. "And you're going to tell me everything. Why did he call you Sina? Who the hell are you?"
Alex looked into his eyes a smirk rising on her lips.
"You want to know? Fine. I am Sina Moto. I lived one hundred and thirteen years ago."
(...)
Carlos' boots clicked against the cold hard stone of the underground dungeon mixed with the metallic sound of the 3d gear moving against his side. Reiner and Bertholdt following closely behind him. It was dark and musky, water and blood dripped down the cracks form the grounds above. The celling shook from the footprints of the retreating titans on the surface. He was guiding his way now, feeling the remnants of Rhea's power that were rippling softly through the air. Unseen and unheard by all but a select few.
Really she must have been desperate to resort to that technique. And from the sounds of things it had been. He made a mental note to himself to beat the hell out of Eren when the next time he saw him. Now stepping inside the now empty room he couldn't help but feel quite nostalgic as he looked at his crystal casted old partner. He felt something stir inside him as he gazed at the crystal but quickly suppress it. There was no time now. He had to tell his findings to the professor.
But first things first.
"I suspect some of them thought they could simply smash it open, but there is not a mark upon it. Such is her power." Carlos smirked as he inspected the perfect crystal before him.
"How are we going to get her out of here? Its not like we can just break it," Reiner said, as he watched Carlos approach the crystal.
"You can't break it nor can you hope to even dent it," Carlos said as his hand moved up towards the crystal his hands barely scrapping the smooth surface. "The only ones who can are the two of us." From where his hand had touched the white crystal began to to turn grey and then it spread all around until the figure inside was impossible to see. The crystal shattered breaking apart seemingly disintegrating into the air and into fine shards. Annie fell into Carlos' outstretched arms as white and grey crystals fell around them.
"See Annie? Told you it would be the other way around one day," he said softly looking down at her figure while whipping some derby out of her golden hair.
Angel Charle and Kyklo are all characters that appear in Attack on Titan's very own spin off manga called Before the Fall. I won't say anything more so go check it out for yourselves.
