7. Liam Learns About Hugh

After Christmas, Dixon and Annie said their goodbyes as he was heading back to Beverly Hills. Dixon knew he would have to tell Liam about Hugh but he knew this would devastate him. When Dixon was back in Beverly Hills, him and Liam met for a drink at the bar. Dixon tried to act calm and be himself but Liam knew he was hiding something

Liam asked, "Why do I have a feeling there's something you're not telling me?" Dixon said, "There's something about Annie I think you should know and I'd rather you heard it from me. Annie, she's...seeing someone." Liam asked, "Annie's...seeing someone?" Dixon responded, "Yes, Annie's been seeing a guy for the last four months"

Liam remained silent for a while afterwards but that was because he finding it hard to sink in that Annie had really moved on with her life. "So much for true love finding it's way to me and Annie," he sadly said. Dixon responded, "That's because you left it too late, dude." Liam responded, "Don't you think I don't know that?"

Liam was alone at his place that night. He sadly thought, "If this had been some tacky Hollywood production, then I'd have stopped her from going on that plane which was what she wanted but of course, I only found out when it was too late. Now she's moved on and found someone else." Liam then took a six pack of beers from the fridge and said, "I might as well. Nothing will bring Annie back to Beverly Hills or most of all, to me"

However, the gang were to hear news that was to bring Annie back to Beverly Hills. One evening, Silver was over at Dixon's place when she started to feel faint. Dixon brought her to see a doctor who told her the cancer treatment was not working and the cancer had spread everywhere so she didn't have much time left to live. Dixon felt Annie should know about this so he called her and told her the news
