Annie was back at home later on that night and decided she would go to bed. However, she ended up finding something on the bed waiting for her. A box of letters Liam had written to her but never sent to her. The first letter she read, she saw that Liam had written what he was going to say to Annie had he got to her in time
He wrote, "I read the end of your book. The person that you made me, the guy who rides up onh the motorcycle and says exactly what he feels and what he wants, even if it's complicated. That's the guy I want to be and I'm here to say I don't care how hard it is. It's what I want because what we have is worth it. Annie, I love you. I always have. Annie Wilson, will you marry me? And it's romantic as hell and I'm not taking no for an answer this time"
Annie started to cry when she read what Liam was going to say to her. She remembered that Liam wanted to tell her something after Silver's funeral but she never gave him the chance to speak. Annie read the letters that Liam had written to her. In each letter, he had written how he really felt about her and he wished he could take back how badly he treated her. He also wrote there were many occasions where he wished he had opened up to her about how he was really feeling about her but either he got scared or his stubborn pride got the better of him
She continued to read the letters he had written for her. She then found the note Silver wrote for him. Silver wrote that maybe it was time he was honest with Annie and told her how he truly felt about her. Liam had attached to that note what he was going to say to Annie after Silver's funeral
He wrote, "I know I was a really crappy friend and I don't deserve you but you're the only person I've ever truly loved. What happened to Silver has made me realize life is too short and it's made me see I should open up and tell you how I'm feeling about you. Annie Wilson, I love you so much and I will spend everyday proving it to you for as long as I live"
Annie spent the rest of the night crying and thinking about how hurt Liam was when she hadn't let him speak. Annie then decided she would write him an e-mail where she poured out her feelings. She sent it but she never received a response
