Six years later, Annie was still in Beverly Hills but she hadn't heard from Liam. She hadn't dated anyone in the last six years as she was still too badly broken from everything that had happened between her and Liam. No one in Beverly Hills had heard from Liam so they were wondering would he ever show up again
It was six years to the day since Annie's return to Beverly Hills when Liam made his return. Annie had come home one night when she saw Liam over at her place. Dixon was also over at her place so obviously, he must have been the one who let Liam in. When Liam saw Annie, he looked at her then carried on with what he was doing
Annie asked, "Liam, can we please talk?" Liam coldly said, "What's there to talk about? The last time I tried talking to you, you told me right to my face that you hate me! You told me you didn't need to hear what I had to say! I also recall you slapped me in the face and walked off!"
Annie responded, "I didn't mean it when I said I hated you!" Liam said, "I don't need to hear you justifying yourself! Don't you think I was hurt by what you said? I was broken, Annie but I moved on and I'm happy now. In fact, I'm in a very good place in my life and I don't need you messing it all up!"
Annie cried, "If that's how you feel, Liam, then fine!," before walking away. The next morning, the doorbell rang. Liam answered it to see a blonde well dressed woman at the door. "Hello, Shauna," Liam said then he gave her a kiss on the cheek
Liam saw Annie was getting up so he said to her, "This is Shauna, my girlfriend. We've been dating for six years. Shauna, Annie is a former classmate of mine but we didn't know each other very well back then." Annie was really hurt Liam could write off their relationship like that but this would be nothing compared to what she would witness that night
Naomi had decided to host a huge party to celebrate Liam's return and welcome Shauna to Beverly Hills. Annie attended the party hoping she could get Liam by himself but it seemed like he was always engrossed in conversation with someone. When Liam saw Annie was up close to him, he got a microphone and said, "Everyone, I'd like your attention for a moment. Shauna, could you come over here please?"
Shauna came over as asked then Liam said, "Shauna, I thought about this for the last six years but I'm finally ready to do this now." He went down on one knee then asked, "Shauna Davenport, will you marry me?," then presented her with the ring. Annie froze in horror when she saw the ring and the box it was being carried in. It was the exact same ring Liam had used to propose to Annie. Annie felt her heart breaking as Shauna said yes and Liam had placed the ring on her finger
