I own nothing and only one more chapter after this!

It was finally the end of the school year and everyone was seated for the end of year feast with the guardians sitting at the Head Table. As everyone finished eating Dumbledore stood up tapping his glass.

"As our year finishes on one of the most strangest and exciting school year we've had I would like to take a moment, as I do every year, to have a little chat with you all before you leave for summer break and forget everything.

"We've had a dangerous enemy threaten our friends and us, freed a falsely accused man and have made new friends and allies in the guardians. We've also learned how love and friendship is the most powerful type of magic, not to mention some new pranks from our good friend Jack which I'm sure you'll all try next year. So as you leave for summer don't forget how precious and magical love and friendship is. And as we bid farewell to our new friends I want them to know we'll never forget their help in saving us from Pitch Black. Thank you."

Everyone clapped loudly cheering for the guardians who blushed under the attention, except for Jack who bowed enjoying the praise. As the guardians made their farewells and left the castle, followed by the students and teachers, North's sleigh pulled by his faithful reindeer appeared. As the guardians, even Bunny, got on the sleigh Sandy made fireworks from his dream sand spelling the words 'Goodbye' and Jack created a final wave of snow and snowflakes to softly fall. Dumbledore strangely then waved his wand over the guardians muttering something before placing it back in his pocket.

"Ah mate what was that?" Bunny pointed out

"Oh since you prefer not to be seen by everyone except your believers," Dumbledore said, "I thought I better remove the revealing spell before you leave. It's now back to the way it was before with only your believers being able to see you."

At Dumbledore's words everyone looked around to see if anyone couldn't see the guardians anymore. But though no one knew it except for a certain Man in the Moon who was smiling widely, everyone in that courtyard could see the guardians without the use of a spell. At the last minute before leaving Jack quickly flew back, hi-fived the twins, hugged Harry and hugged Jamie.

"I'll see you soon little brother during the summer," Jack whispered, "I promise."

Then Jack flew back to the sleigh and with a crack of the reins the sleigh took off into the sky and out of sight. The next few days were surprisingly quiet without Jack around until that one day where all the Professors, minus Dumbledore, opened their office doors to have tons of snow and firecrackers burst out.

"FRED AND GEORGE WEASLEY!"

Needless to say Fred and George weren't seen for the rest of the day.

The Hogwarts Express left the station back on the way to London. The Golden Trio had a cabin to themselves as Jamie was sitting with Lauren and some other of his classmates he had become friends with.

"Do you think your uncle will let you stay with us this summer Harry?" Ron asked

"I'm sure they will. They'll be overjoyed to get rid of me, the quicker the better."

"Well Harry," Hermione said, "Until the month is over I will write to you regularly."

"I will too mate," Ron added, "You need any distraction to make life at your relatives more bearable."

Harry smiled at his best friends, no one he felt could have better friends then he did. Though Jamie came in closely with the guardians. Harry let his mind drift back to the conversation he had with Jamie before Jamie left to go sit with Lauren.

"Hey Jamie you gonna sit with us?"

"No thanks Harry. Lauren and some other classmates have saved me a seat. But thanks for the offer". Jamie then started to walk off.

"No problem and Jamie!"

"Yes?"

"Thanks. For renewing my faith in the guardians and helping me save my godfather."

Jamie smiled, "Thanks for being my friend."

TAP! TAP! TAP! Harry snapped out of his memory to find a small puffball of an owl tapping insistently at the window. Opening it the owl swooped in and dropped a letter in Harry's lap. Apparently it was so ecstatic at delivering its letter it chirped excitedly and flew around the cabin, Hedwig gave an unimpressed hoot from her cage and Crookshanks watched the flying bird with wide eyes. Ron swiftly snatched the owl from the air away from Crookshanks holding it firmly in his lap before gesturing for Harry to read the letter.

"Hey guys it's from Sirius!

"'Dear Harry,

I wanted you to get this letter before you reached London, as I'm not sure how your relatives react to owl mail. Black Manor is being fixed up quickly on schedule and I've started arranging with the Ministry to take custody of you, which is going very slowly! But I'll see you at the Weasley's as Ron's father has very kindly invited me to attend the Quidditch World Cup with you and his family; Hermione has also been invited too.

Look forward to seeing you cub! And before I left I signed the Hogsmeade permission slip and handed it to Dumbledore so you'll be able to go to Hogsmeade.

Love Sirius.

P.S. Tell Ron he can keep the owl as I feel I owe him a pet.'"

"My very own owl?" Ron said, "Cool!"

Then shockingly to his friends he held the perched owl on his arm out to Crookshanks, "So what do you think? A normal owl?"

Crookshanks purred contently, "Good enough for me! Now I can stop borrowing Percy's!"

Hermione chuckled getting out a pack of cards from her bag, "Well we've got a couple of hours before we arrive. Who wants to play Exploding Snap?"

Harry waved goodbye to his friends as they left with their families, Mr. Weasley had assured Harry he would come and get him after a month to stay with them at the burrow. Spotting his uncle Harry made his way towards him when Jamie rushed in front.

"Didn't think you could leave without saying goodbye," Jamie teased before hugging Harry, who returned the hug happily.

"Jamie!" called a kind looking woman standing with a young blonde girl.

Jamie waved at them, "Coming mum!" He picked up his bags, "Good luck with your relatives Harry. Oh and don't forget, look around your neighbourhood this summer, you might have an invisible friend hanging around."

Harry was puzzled by Jamie's words but quickly grabbed his bags and approached his uncle. As they were driving back to the house in silence Harry caught the meaning of Jamie's words and couldn't stop the chuckle that broke through.

"What's so funny boy!"

"Oh just an inside joke Uncle Vernon," Harry replied quickly

As Uncle Vernon huffed and went back to driving, muttering loudly that any magical jokes weren't funny. Harry smirked to himself. This summer might not be so bad after all.

Almost finished! I know this is a short chapter but I really wanted the epilogue to be its own chapter, which I plan to upload with this one so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Enjoy the next chapter and since you probably won't review on this chapter I'll ask you now to please review the next and final one!
