Chapter 13 Katie's eyes widened, then she ran towards them. "Mum! Dad! No!" She kneeled next to them, crying. But the weird thing was; Her kneels didn't get covered in their blood. When Katie noticed, she got up; "W-what's going on…" Suddenly everything around her was white, then in the place of her parent's body's stood a girl with long, golden hair and light green eyes. She looked at Katie: "I'm sorry, I didn't want to scare you. I'm Lauren." Katie looked at her for a second: "W-what was that?" "I've got the power to make people see their worst fears. That's how I kill. I make them go insane in pain from their greatest fear." "Alright then, nice to meet you Lauren. I'm Katie." They shook each-others hand smiling softly. Then BEN ran in: "LAUREN!" He hugged her and Lauren hugged back smiling. Katie stood at the side a bit awkward. "Ehm, what's going on?" BEN turned around: "Lauren is my girlfriend!" The others walked in as well. Several sounds like: "Hi Lauren!" or "Long time no see!" could be heard from them. Katie smiled, another friend. Then she noticed Jeff and Kara weren't there. She walked out of the room, and started searching along the mansion. When she passed by Kara's room, she heard a girl crying and a male's voice whispering things. Katie opened the door so she could hear the conversation. "Kara, calm do-" "No! I can't get it out of my head! You don't understand, nobody does!" "Kara please…" Kara kept on crying into Jeff's chest. "Kara I know you still have a fear for death body's since then, but-" "Jeff I can't have that kind of things and you know!" She looked at him, a tear falling from her cheek. Katie was wondering what's going on. She decided to leave them alone, so she walked backwards, tripping over a random loose wooden shelf in the floor and bumping against the wall loudly. Shit.
