The Unknown
Liany's POV
Liany had been at camp Half-Blood for 5 days already and she still didn't know shit. When she had asked the centaur who her godly parent was he had just changed the subject. It was getting annoying. And to top that she hadn't seen Nico since the breakfast she had been 'clamed', she had interrogated Leo but he wouldn't say anything at all. She had was on her way to Bunker 9 to have another 'talk' with Leo when a certain daughter of Aphrodite jumped in front of her.
"Liany I've been looking for you" she said with a friendly smile "since you skipped breakfast Chiron wanted me to tell you that we're having an emergency meeting at noon"
"But it's only eleven, we've got an hour or so right" she answered while she walked around her and past her
She was about to enter the forest when Piper grabbed her arm "Liany please come with me"
"Piper, you know charmspeak doesn't work on me" she answered rather annoyed "now I'll make sure to be there on time so don't worry" she said as she pulled her arm free and kept walking "also, you should stop trying to protect Leo, if I wanted to hurt him I would have done it a long time ago"
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you" Piper's voice was now apologetic "it's just Leo is one of my only friends here and I don't want anything happening to him"
Liany smiled and nodded "so Piper, where are you taking me?"

Leo's POV
Leo was on his way to the Big House for the 'emergency' meeting Chiron had ordered. Seriously he had other things to do, and he REALLY needed to work on the Argo II if he wanted to get done on time.
As he walked in he noticed that most people were already sitting down and waiting for the few missing; Nico was still missing, the beauty queen was late for some unknown reason, and to his surprise Liany wasn't there ether. He was just getting comfortable on his chair when Piper and Liany walked in… everybody's jaw dropped.
Liany was wearing a long white skirt with a baby blue blouse, she was wearing makeup but it seemed so natural it looked like she wasn't wearing any. Her hair had been curled… she had a crown of flowers sitting on top of her chocolate curls. Leo looked at Piper awestruck and puzzled. How had she gotten Liany to agree to that?! Charmspeak was indeed a powerful weapon. He made a mental note to himself; keep the beauty queen on your good side.
"I'm sorry we're late" said Piper as she sat down on the Aphrodite chair "we didn't notice the time"
Leo was about to comment on their lateness and looks when another pair of people walked in; the worst absentee friend, Nico, and the Oracle of Delphi, Rachel.
"Sorry to call all of you to an emergency meeting, but I'm afraid there is something very important I need to tell all of you" Rachel said as she stepped forward and green mist started to flow around her
"The word of darkness they must seek
To find what by mortal eyes has not been seen
Three shall go, but not come back
For a lost hero one shall find
Ghost of the past will come back to life
To reveal a future only the wise can understand"
There was an astonishing silence after Rachel collapsed right next to Liany; for some reason the oracle had walked in that direction. Thankfully Liany had good reflexes and helped the dazed red headed to the couch where they both sat in silence waiting for Chiron to talk. It might have been Leo's imagination, but the two girls seemed to be having a full on conversation with their eyes.
"A new quest has come up" said the centaur with a grim look on his face, whatever was going on Leo knew it wasn't good "who will step up for –" Chiron was interrupted by Rachel who was now on her feet and standing right next to him
"I'm sorry to interrupt you Chiron, but I believe we both know who needs to lead this quest" she said as she gave a quick glance to Liany who nodded in approval.
This meeting was getting weirder and weirder. How did they know Liany had to be the one leading the quest? He was seriously going to… wait a minute… if she was gone that meant he wouldn't have to worry about getting him latter! That was perfect!
But then again, he DID like her… it was all because stupid little Nico had decided to vanish for a week that she had been after his head. Well, now Nico was back, looking sexy as fu… I mean, he was back and now he could face his problems.
Leo had to scold himself for being distracted by Nico instead of paying attention to whatever was going on with the meeting.
He only looked back to see a crown of flowers been thrown at his face. He panicked for a moment swinging his arms in front of his face, and then looked at the direction they had come from; Annabeth had her dagger at Liany's throat.
"What do you mean I shouldn't go?" the blonde asked in an angry tone
"Look, all I'm saying is that this quest might not be about Percy. You know what Jason said, if he is here than that means that Percy is in the Roman camp" Liany said in a calmer more logical voice "it's not to be mean or anything"
"The prophesy said 'To reveal a future only the wise can understand' and last time I checked I was still a daughter of Athena"
"Well, you know that doesn't mean you're wise!" Liany snapped "it just means your mother is, get over it"
Everyone seemed shocked, Leo was pretty sure no one had ever messed with Annabeth before. Leo was almost glad he was standing at the opposite side of the room when Liany grabbed Annabeth's dagger with her bare hands and threw it at the leopard on the wall (who apparently decided that it was better to be lifeless for a while). Annabeth seemed a surprised by that but didn't have enough time to react; the next thing everybody saw was very annoyed brunette punching an angry blond on the face.
"Anyone else wants to tell me I'm stupid because I'm not a daughter Athena?" she asked while shaking her hand "damn, she's got a thick skull"
Leo was unable to move, Chiron made Piper and Jason take the unconscious blond to Argus while he calmed down everyone else. No one really seemed to mind that Liany had knocked out Annabeth, well Leo didn't even know how it had all started; Nico was just so distract…. Nico had just come back and that had distracted him… yeah, that's what had happened.
"Everyone please take your sits" Chiron said once everyone was calm "Liany, I'm afraid that you WILL have to take Annabeth with you regardless of your difference. I know you already know this"
"Yeah, but it doesn't mean I like it. Besides she is the one who has a problem with me"
"Liany, this is your prophesy and your quest" said the oracle with a small smile on her face, for some reason Leo couldn't shake the feeling that Rachel had enjoyed the mini fight and Annabeth's bloody nose "I'm sure you already know who your companions are and where you must go"
"Sadly I think I do understand" she said as she turned around, for a moment there Leo thought she was going to look at him, but her gaze stopped on Nico "son of Hades, looks like we're going to have to deal with a very bitchy blond during this quest" she said as a smirk formed on her face
Leo had never been good with organic forms of life, but he knew some of the campers were afraid of her; maybe it had something to do with her getting along with a son of Hades and punching Annabeth on the face… just maybe…
"It'll be annoying, but I think we can deal with it" a dark grin formed on Nico's face, complemented by a very sarcastic voice "we're going to my house after all, I bet my father will be pleased to see us"
AN: there I finished, you guys have no idea how hard it was for me to finish this chapter, well anyways I wanted to let you guys know that I plan on doing some time jumps just to get the story to flow better, and yes, it is also because some of you really want to see Percy… well not really see, but you guys know what I mean. If I made some grammar errors I apologize, but is 6:30 am and I stayed up all night to write this chapter just because I write better at night.
