-Butterfly Daydreams

-Chapter 12-

Tsuna was not having it. He wasn't going to go along with this whole food-to-mouth thing. It was too weird, and extremely uncomfortable. Without thinking, he stood up, slamming the table in front of him, and shoved both Hibari and the food out of his way, and stormed out of the food joint. 'Enough is enough. I understand that he may possibly trying to make things comfortable between us, but that is the kind of level I will not accept. He's sort of my friend, let alone a boy. That's it. I'm officially not working for Hibari anymore. Besides that, how long does he intend to keep me for talking back to him? It's been almost a month.' Not looking back to see if Hibari was following him, he went down the block, and tried to find his way back to the general area of Namimori that he knew well. He'd worry about Hibari's reaction later.

Hibari was shocked to say the least. He didn't think that the Herbivore had it in him to actually shove him, let alone go out into an unknown part of the town by himself. But isn't that how people showed affection to one another? He hadn't thought it was something weird, or at least something that'd get someone angry. He'd seen couples do it all the time. And then it struck him. He'd see boys and girls do that together, not two boys. 'I really hadn't thought about whether or not he was interested in another male, had I? This might just go all to hell because I got my hopes up to high without considering the circumstances.' Sighing, he began to head back to the school, thinking of his current situation. How would he approach the boy? It was obvious that Tsunayoshi didn't want to be bothered at the moment. His sudden explosion had startled the Raven, especially since he was in such a calm mood. He also felt slightly embarrassed, since everyone had looked up when Tsuna had slammed the table. Oh boy, what to do now..?

Colonnello had seen it all. From the awkward eating, to the smaller boy storming out of his restaurant. He'd never expected Tsunayoshi to have such a temper on him. He had always thought that there wasn't anything that could really piss the boy off. Sighing as he watched Hibari glumly walk out, he contemplated on how he could help these two out. But from what it seemed, Tsunayoshi was uncomfortable with how Hibari was treating him. He had to admit, even he wouldn't like if his spouse tried feeding him. Especially if it was in public. Getting this relationship to even be considered in Tsuna's head was going to take a lot of work, more than he had expected. Perhaps with a little persuasion, or maybe him always talking about Hibari would hopefully set him in the right direction towards Hibari's open arms. But first, he needed some more information from the Vongola Boss. But who should he approach about this predicament? He knew Hibari didn't want a lot of people knowing about this. Let the wrong person find out, and it could be ruined in a matter of seconds. 'I'll search for someone when I close up the shop.'

Tsuna decided to go the park. It only had taken him about forty-five minutes to find it. He hadn't been to it in a long time. He used to always go to this one in particular whenever he was bullied, and feeling extra worn. It wasn't too far from his house, so he could stay out there pretty late, and still be safe when walking home at night. But luckily the part of Namimori that he lived in was relatively quiet, and didn't have many crimes, from what he could remember, which made him feel even safer there. Sitting in his favorite swing, he quietly swung, deep into thought. Maybe he shouldn't have blown up on Hibari like that. But at the same time, there's been plenty of times where Hibari's really put him on edge, and making him wake up so early in the morning to train and stay at the school until really late. Everything was just such a mess. As a human being, he could admit that Hibari was a handsome boy. Striking black hair, and steely grey-blue eyes; what more could a girl hope for? He was the pure definition of tall, dark, and handsome. But that was the problem. He wasn't female fully appreciate all that. All he felt was curiosity that he wasn't willing to try out.

Kyoko was still at the fore-front of his mind, whether he liked to admit it or not. He's liked her for as long as he could remember- maybe even loved her. And he wasn't going to stop hoping on getting her attention all because Hibari decided to pay him a little special attention. Maybe that's all the problem really is, he could possibly be in need of a best friend, but what about Kusakabe? Agh, it was all very annoying, and he just wanted to have a normal high school life, not a high school life that included him questioning which gender he was more sexually interested in. 'This sucks. I don't want to be in this position, and Hibari sort of pushed me into it.' Scratching his head violently, he groaned, loudly. Thankfully nobody was around to hear that, because they'd have probably looked at him like he was a mad man. Standing up, he figured it was time to go home, it was getting dark, and he still hadn't checked in with his mother. 'Ahh, I could use a nice portion of dinner and a hot bath to help me relax.' Stretching, he got up and started towards his home.

Hibari had sat in his office for hours. He had been trying to figure out just how he could fix the obvious tension and wall that was obviously just built between him and Tsuna earlier. After finally getting back to the school, he found Kusakabe standing outside the school entrance, ready to report the things that had happened around the school while he was away. Nothing eventful happened, so he dismissed Kusakabe for the night, and proceeded to take his night shift. So that just left him by himself to his thoughts. 'Maybe if I had more friends, I would have known better than to have done something so bold to another male. I've seen males act affectionate towards each other, but not in that sort of manner. As much as I don't want to admit it, maybe I'm a little too inexperienced when it comes to regular interactions. I need to get friends.' Hibari nearly threw up at the thought. Would his new 'friends' want to do things like have sleepovers? Or go out to parties? Thinking aloud, "I need to make friends with people, that's my whole entire problem. Friends" and then he heard the click of his door. "Friends you say? I could be just the best of best friends with you" and then he heard that atrocious laugh. Turning to see his 'visitor', he gritted his teeth.

"Pineapple-head. To what do I owe such honor of being in your presence?"
