Hanna Marin was in the bathroom of the Slytherin common room, reapplying her light peach lipstick. She was happy to notice that there was salad for dinner, which was ok for her. She promised herself that she wasn't even going to taste bertie botts every flavoured beans no matter how good they looked. Her binging was just a bad habit which was going to stop no matter how stressed out she was. Even though all that firewhiskey had gotten Hanna a bit drunk, she could tell that Malfoy was totally into her. He was mysterious and hot – what more could she ask for?! Hanna had already decided that she and Pansy Parkinson were to be great friends. After all what was friendship without a little cat fight? Besides, Hanna had a mirror and could see that she was a hundred times prettier and thinner than Pansy, and Malfoy was already all over her. However, Hanna knew that she could totally run Hogwarts being Pansy's friend. They could laugh at the Slytherin-wannabe Hufflepuffs staring at their fashionable touch to the Hogwarts uniform, bag all the cutest boys and play mean practical jokes on the school's biggest nerd boys by sending them owls with anonymous love letters. Hanna left the bathroom and went back into the common room, where Draco, Pansy and Crabbe and Goyle were waiting for her. Malfoy put his hand on her thigh and she let him. She also liked him enough to continue kissing him moments later. If she tried hard enough, they could be the school's most liked couple. Right after Malfoy kissed her; she turned around and winked at Pansy. "Who's up for some more firewhiskey?" Hanna asked. Everyone cheered and Malfoy refilled everyone's goblets "My father says that he knows for a fact that the Dark Lord's not really gone. That mudblood Harry Potter can't shut his mouth about how he conquered and destroyed the Dark Lord, can't wait to see his face when he realizes that all his work was in vain." Crabbe and Goyle started giggling behind him. "Think it's funny do you?" Malfoy challenged, "Your parents haven't exactly been the most loyal death eaters now, have they?" That completely shut Crabbe and Goyle up. From the little Hanna had heard about Voldemort, he was the most dark and yet powerful wizard to ever step foot on earth and made sure to gain immortality. "My father told the dealer at Borgin and Burkes that he has proof that Voldemort wasn't really dead. He gave him a box and warned him not to open unless he wishes to die a most painful death. He said that at times like these, the ministry was at its most incorrupt and that houses of former death eaters are being checked." Everyone was dead curious about Malfoy's story, and the whole Slytherin common room fell silent, except for some first years who kept on bickering upstairs. "I kept on asking father what was in the box but he told me that it was safer not to know, and begged me not to question further, criticising my skills as an occlumen. The only thing he let slip was that he can guarantee that Voldemort wasn't really dead, and when he comes back to power, our family will be praised more than anyone else for our loyalty and be gifted. I reckon that a last piece of Voldemort's soul is in that box. That's what Father's hiding." Everyone remained silent for a few seconds; everyone suddenly began praising his family and bravery, telling him how loyal he was to the dark lord all along. Malfoy seemed to enjoy this treatment, and opened another firewhiskey, pouring half of it into Hanna's goblet and toasted to the immortality of the dark Lord.
