Chapter 66 Good news

After her shift was done, Raven stayed a little longer waiting for Randy, they had plans to catch a late dinner and share stories of their day, Raven couldn't believe how fast she was falling for him, she didn't want too but matters of the heart were too big to ignore, Raven had always stayed away from matters of the heart, she just wasn't interested, until that tattooed man walked into her life, now she was thankful that she had given him another chance, it was a mistake the first time, but this time round felt right, she couldn't ignore that. Randy lent over the bar, his hand in the air waving a barmaid over, Raven appeared in front of him, that smile on her face,

"What can I get you Sunshine?"

"A beer and my girlfriend please"

Raven laughed leaning over the bar and kissing his cheek, "The girlfriend I can do but your beer will have to wait"

"Can't win it all right?"

"Well if you're nice to me Randy, I might let you have one beer"

"You'll let me?" Randy teased, he didn't pick her for one to be controlling, at least not controlling over him.

"By let you I mean when you get your's, get me one too"

"If I was allowed behind the bar, I'd happily get you one"

Raven laughed grabbing her jacket, "Before you get the urge to jump over the bar lets go and have dinner, I'm hungry"

"Raven! Wait!" Candi called out to her before she left with Randy, Raven rolled her silver orbs looking at her boyfriend.

"This should be fun" Raven muttered, her hand now in Randy's, "What Candi?"

Candi flipped her hair over her shoulder, with each passing second she was becoming more and more like Raven's doppleganger. It was now beyond creepy and weird.

"I wanted to say I'm sorry,"

"Good for you. Can I go now?"

Candi gave her a big grin, "Sure and have a good night Raven"

Raven just glared at her before taking Randy's hand and rushing out from the bar. Still creeped out about the stripper.

"I think she likes you Raven" Randy commented trying not to laugh, Raven shuddered as they walked to the restuarant down the street.

"Don't even joke about that Randy, its gross"

Randy laughed again "I think its cute how she wants to be like you, and if you ever feel like" "Don't even finish that sentence Randy, its a death sentence for you"

With anyone else he would've finished the sentence but with Raven he didn't, he believed in her 'death sentence' "So you said, you had good news?"

"Yeah, according to my sources, I'm knocked up, pregnant, with child, bun in the oven and so on and so fourth"

Randy stopped in his tracks, face draining of colour as his body started to go into shock. Raven laughed cruely, "Thats what you get for sayin that whore likes me"

Randy let out a harsh breath, "That was not funny Raven"

"I agree, you know what else isn't funny? Saying a whore likes me, you know how I feel about whores Randy"

Randy didn't say anything for a moment, he was trying to get his breath back, "Ok fair enough" Randy finally got out, it was a whore that hurt Jamie, of course saying one liked Raven would get to her. "Ok, now we're even, so what was the good news?"

Raven shrugged, "Nothin too big really, I got a promotion at work, it means that I'm now manager of the bar and I no longer have to strip, I don't even have to mind the bar if I don't want too, but still no more stripping, so yeah, thats my good news"

Randy hugged her happily, lifting the small girl off her feet, Raven laughed wrapping her arms around his neck. "Thought you'd be happy about that"

"I'm happy for you, you douche, thats great news for you"

"Thank you" Raven laughed as Randy put her down, she was going to hit him for calling her names but she let that go, apparently when you're with someone, you have to pick your battles, at least thats what Hunter told her when she asked.

"We should celebrate"

Raven laughed "So get some drive-through and do it twice?"

Randy shook his head at her, "That will do for now, when I think of something better I'll let you know"

"Sounds like a plan Randy"
