~NORMAL POV~
"I want to know the truth...how did Lucy came back from the dead." Lisanna asked
"Well...why not ask Minerva?" Master questioned
"No need to look for us...we're here" Minerva said
"And why are you here?" Erza asked
"Well our little Lucy wanted to talk to the fairy you're with" Sting answered as Lucy skipped all the way to the bar
"Just answer the question" Levy said
"Well...Lucy is a Dark God slayer...Lucy Heartfilia was revived by the dark God and served as his apprentice but her adult body takes up too much magic so she transformed herself into her child form" Minerva explained
"And how did you know about that?" Gray asked
"We asked the adult version of her...if she's in that form she remembers everything from her death up until now...although when she returns to her child form she forgets what happened each time during her transformation times" Rogue explained
"That explains everything! So will she return here?" Natsu asked (A/n: I do not know how he teleported O.O)
"In your dreams fairies...'coz this little girl isn't coming back...even if I was a part of this guild once" little Lucy said with her cute voice that made everybody go 'awww' even though they knew she was angry
"Let's go guys!" Lucy cheerfully invited the tigers as they exited.
"So what did you guys talk about?" Master asked Mavis
"That little girl is unbelievable! She blacked mailed me!" Mavis angrily said
"She did what?! No one ever dared" Master said
"I know! She sure is brave" Mavis said
"So what if she's brave? She couldn't possibly beat the first" Gajeel said
"Wrong...although she looks like a child she possesses unlimited magic powers with unbelievable strength" Mavis informed
"If her magic powers are unlimited how come she easily gets tired?" Charles asked
"Well...her small and frail body can't store all of that power so she releases those excess magic through her transformation from a child to an adult or doing magic releasing technique...and transforming strains the body...unlike take over magic, transformation can completely copy, transform and even create a different person" Mavis explained.
"So that's why...she uses as much magic she can when fighting in battles" Lily said
"Yes...and her keeping herself in her child form 'coz her true form consumes too much magic is a lie...she uses her child form to forget everything she's been through" Mavis added
"Oh..."
"Well...forget about that and let's party!" Cana said while drinking beer
~1 HOUR LATER~
"I'm drunk~" Natsu sang
"HEH...you're pathetic flame brain (hiccup)" Gray laughed
"Stop it you two..." Erza said while drinking her beer
"You should stop drinking Natsu" Lisanna scolded
"Lucy...is that you?" Natsu asked
"No...It's me Lisanna"
"Where have you been? We've been worried sick of you" Natsu said
"Okay that's enough...let's get you back to your room...Happy help me will you?" Lisanna said as Happy carried Natsu.
"You know...I really want you back on our team Lucy...I'm sorry I kicked you out of the team..." Natsu mumbled
"Oh Natsu...you look okay but you miss her so much don't you?" Lisanna asked
"Yup...I miss Lucy...my one and only best friend...well there's Lisanna...But you're different...I really missed you..." Natsu talked while half asleep
~NATSU'S POV~
I can see Lucy right infront of me, she came back!
"I really missed you Lucy" I told her. And she was smiling softly at me
"You know...I regretted the day I quarrelled with you...But you're back" Natsu smiled
"Natsu...I'm dead, remember?" Lucy asked
"No you're not...I can see you standing infront of me"
"I'm dead...Because you kicked me out of the team knowing I was weak and fragile...I took up a mission and died trying to fulfil that mission..." Lucy explained
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean is I'm just an illusion made by guilt and loneliness" Lucy smiled
"No...You're real" Natsu cried
"No Natsu...I'm afraid I'm dead...goodbye Natsu" Lucy said as she disappeared slowly
"You're not dead...You just got back...why? It's my entire fault..." Natsu cried
"Yes Natsu it's all your fault...if only you didn't kick Lucy out of the team...if only you didn't ignore her existence...she'd be still alive" an unknown voice said
"It's my fault she died...it's my fault she's gone...and now even my own conscience is blaming me" Natsu cried
~THE NEXT DAY (NORMAL POV) ~
Natsu woke up earlier than anyone else in their cabin. He cleaned himself then headed out for the garden. He was planning on taking a walk and think about his dream last night. As he walked through the woods he saw 2 familiar figures. As he walked closer to those figures he easily recognized them, the grown-up-version Lucy and Sting.
"Lucy...Tell me truth...why do you always insist that you stay in your child form? Everybody in the guild knows that you're Lucy Heartfilia...and Minerva accepted you as family...so why go through all of the pain that the transformation brings you?" Sting asked
"So you got up very early just to ask me that?" Lucy asked
"Sort of...oh just answer the question will you" Sting complained
"Well...it's to forget all of the my painful memories...living with the pain of my memories is more painful than transforming now and then...besides...my temper as a kid really helps me in battle..." Lucy answered while looking at the dark sky.
"You really are too kind...if I were you I'd take revenge on them" Sting said
"Well...if you look at it it's my fault as well I took the job knowing it was suicide..." Lucy said
"Why do you wake up so early in the morning, to watch the sunrise?" Sting asked
"Nope...I just like the early morning mist...and I don't like the sunrise...I like the sunset...It represents my life...from light to darkness...I always knew one day I'll turn into a cold person...since my father was one...it's already in my blood" Lucy said
"Whatever...let's go...everybody must be worried..." Sting said while Lucy transformed into her child form that was sleeping. Sting carried her on his back and departed knowing that Natsu was listening
"You can come out know salamander...we're leaving" Natsu emerged from the bushes
"Wait! Sting...Tell me if she hates us that much" Natsu asked
"Not only she hates you...she doesn't wanna remember you" Sting answered
"Is that so...well thank you for telling me" Natsu said sadly. Sting quietly departed
~A FEW DAYS LATER AT THE ARENA~
"Alright everyone! The battles these past few days were exciting but the most awaited team battle is here! Like the previous years the team who earns the most points is the winner...5 points for the team leader and 1 point for the others...this game determines whose team will survive...Saber tooth is currently in the lead followed by Fairy Tail then Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus and Fairy Tail team B...the other guild backed out because they're afraid of facing the now known as the scariest mage Lucy of the tigers!" The pumpkin head announced
"It seems to be a lot easier...it's all thanks to Lucy showing how powerful we are...now they're trembling before us...well it's mostly because of Lucy but who cares they're still trembling" Sting laughed
"So who are we going to eliminate first, the leaders or the subordinates?" Lucy asked
"Why not start with the leaders? And let's save the weakest one trembling...but we should reserve the Fairy Tail teams...let's show them that even though they have team work, power still prevails" Minerva suggested
"Let's go guys...everybody's already hunting for us" Rogue said
"Well...here's the plan...first we eliminate the other guilds if a fairy is there just eliminate the other mage then run...besides the fairy can't predict our movements now..." Little Lucy said
"So where will we meet?" Rufus asked
"Near the open area there...we have only 30 minutes to destroy other guilds...alright guys move out!" Lucy commanded
~AT THE BENCHES~
"There seems to be some kind of trouble...I can't predict the movements of the Saber Tooth guild..." Mavis said
"We're doomed" Master said
"It may be a big problem...but as long as the team defeats the other guilds before the tigers do it's a sure win" Mavis said
"What's this, the Saber Tooth guild is making their move! It seems that Minerva, Lucy, Sting and Rogue are defeating the Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus teams and are letting the Fairies escape!" The pumpkin head announced
"Team assemble!" Erza commanded. Then the Fairies gathered and ran into an open space
"It took you long enough to get here..." A familiar voice rang
"Why are we hiding by the way? Where's the other two?" Another familiar voice rang
"They took care of the others" another voice rang
"Why don't we show ourselves? They look confused" another voice rang, and then the 4 came out from the 4 dark alley ways. The fairies prepared for the fight but, they were surprised to see a very familiar face.
"Remember me?" The real Lucy asked
"Lucy..."
"Yes...take a good look at me...and remember me as the one who defeated you all and humiliated you all...what do you think Minerva-san should I torture them or defeat them quickly?" Lucy asked
"Defeat them quickly but make sure you beat the daylights out of them" Minerva answered
"Quickly it is...come on now...attack me with all you've got...I promise I'll hold back" Lucy said. Then the fairies attacked one after another but Lucy deflected them all.
"Take over magic! Satan soul Sitri!" Mira transformed
"Reequip! Heaven's Wheel Armour" Erza yelled as she transformed
"Bring it on!" Lucy smirked as Erza, Gray, Mira, Laxus, Natsu and Juvia attacked.
"Attack my blades!" Erza commanded, and then all her blades started attacking Lucy
"Dark God Slayer Magic...dark deflect" Lucy chanted then the blades stopped inches away from her face and backed away a little then started attacking Erza back. Erza deflected them just in time
"Lucy...what's taking it too long?" Sting complained
"I guess it's about time to stop messing around don't you think?" Rogue asked
"Alright...sorry fairies...play time is over...Dark God Slayer Magic...Dark Prison" Then the fairies were surrounded by dark clouds and couldn't get out
"And now the Grand Finale! Dark God Slayer Magic...Flames of Hell" Lucy recited darkly; screams were heard from the inside of the dark clouds. Lucy released the now unconscious fairies then walked out triumphantly. The other Fairy Tail members ran to the injured team.
"Get them to the hospital quick...gosh what kind of demon did Hades train?" Mavis asked
"Demon? Lucy is not a demon...well she is when she's mad but she is not a demon" Master Makarov defended
"Did you take a look at her while she fought? That's a part of her magic...by the way she uses it...I think she almost mastered the art of the Dark God Slayer Magic and is on par with Zeref's magic" Mavis said
"Yes...she's very powerful indeed...and if the council approves it she might take up a position in the Ten wizard saints as a replacement either for Jellal, Ultear or Jose" Master said in agreement
~WITH THE SABER TOOTH GUILD~
"Today we celebrate! We are now known to be the strongest in all of Fiore! We owe our victory to our Saber tooth's strongest team! Especially to our very own Lucy!" Minerva announced. Then the tigers partied. Lucy, who was in her original form walked out of the party into a garden followed by Sting and Rogue
"Hey...why aren't you partying?" Rogue asked
"Because it's a bit noisy in there...and I hate noises and parties...reminds me of them...but this guild's more disciplined and sane compared to them...that's why I love it here..." Lucy answered.
"By the way...yesterday the salamander asked me something...he asked me if you hate them so much" Sting informed
"And your reply is..." Lucy said
"Not only hate but you don't even want to remember them" Sting answered
"Good answer" Rogue complimented
"Indeed...what a nice answer" Lucy said with a smile of contentment
"We had a rough day today...why are the three of you here outside?" Minerva asked
"Oh we were just taking a walk...you know me I hate noise" Lucy answered
"So is Lucy-Chan contented with Fairy Tail losing to us?" Frosch asked
"I am actually happy that I got the chance to beat the crap out of them..." Lucy smiled
"Hell yeah! Next year...we'll make sure we beat them up real good...we'll beat not only the crap out of them but even their internal organs" Sting yelled
"That's a little over board Sting..." Rouge reminded
"Well with Lucy-San here...she'll make sure that happens" Lector said
"Yeah! Lucy-San is so powerful" Frosch seconded
"You all flatter me..." Lucy said with a giggle
"So are you planning to return to your child form?" Minerva asked seriously
"I don't know" Lucy said
"Please don't" Yukino interrupted
"Why?" Lucy asked
"Well...we all know that you're suffering extreme body fatigue just because you transform from a child into a fully grown adult...we would all like to see the beautiful grown up Lucy" Yukino said
"Not me...I like the child form more...she's a lot more adorable" Sting said
"So you're saying I'm adorable?" Lucy snickered
"No...I said you child form is a lot more adorable" Sting said.
"Sure, whatever...well...I'll think about it...for the mean time...I'm going to be in this form and observe what is going to happen if I stay like this" Lucy said
