Hey everyone, bet you thought I wouldn't upload so fast lol, but surprisingly, my school gave us an awesome three day weekend!*throws Euro books in closet* I mean even though i'm stacked with homework, I want to ensure that I keep this story alive, and so instead of the usual sleep till dark in the afternoon, i've decided to WRITE DANG IT! I mean why not, other than watching Spongebob, there is no other meaning to life jk, *sounds really lonely 0.o. Anyways hope you guys remember to favorite and leave reviews, I love reviews :) makes me know that hey, I make mistakes and i also got a good thing going here. I made a long chapter this time :)
Chapter 12
"G-good morning Sasuke-kun" said Hinata softly as she place breakfast on the table.
Hinata was trying her best to hide the embarrassment in her eyes.
As she place today's breakfast on the table, arranging her work neatly. She had managed to make steamed rice, pickled vegetables, two grilled fish and some fresh green tea.
" hn, morning" replied Sasuke as he sat down around the zataku .
After Sasuke has seated, Hinata sat facing him at the other end of the table, that's when she realized his attire. The Uchiha was dressed in a muscle shirt with the Uchiha symbol printed in the center and a pair of black pants. A blush came on Hinata's face as she watched him take up the bowl of rice and chopsticks, maybe it was the way how his biceps flexed as he reached for the dish. He didn't a mission today.
"Itadakimasu" he muttered in his usual melancholy tone. ( by saying that they are giving thanks to the person who prepared the food)
Hinata only replied with a small smile.
It was even more awkward in the house than before, and it was honestly annoying Sasuke. Its strange that usually he enjoys the silence. He looked up at the Huyga. Ever since that incident she hasn't looked him directly in the face. And being Sasuke Uchiha he decided that he will not be put in such an awkward mood in his own home.
" Hinata are you busy today?" asked Sasuke as he raised the cup to his lips and took a sip of the hot liquid.
Hinata took a quick look up at him then back down n her still full bowl of rice. She really didn't intent to do much today.
" I- iie, not really Sasuke-kun, I only planned on visiting Kurenai-sensei and the baby" said Hinata.
Sasuke nodded at this. "Would you mind if I came along, with you, then afterward we can go for a walk"
Both Hinata and Sasuke and Hinata were surprised at his strange offer.
'Of course Sasuke-kun" she said out of kindness. She wondered why he wanted to walk with her.
Sasuke nodded as he continued eating again.
Sasuke had a point for wanting to take a walk now, it was such a beautiful day in the village. Kids were running around and happy greetings , could be heard, shouting across the street to one another.
Hinata smiled at this, Sasuke however didn't care , the Uchiha was slightly annoyed of the bursting emotion of happiness in the village, it made him quite uneasy . But he just wanted to get out of the compound, he didn't want people to think the he was some type of prisoner to his own home, and plus it was sort of too tense there, even for him, sometimes he swore he could hear his own mothers voice talking to him and then the next minute is was his fathers voice.
"How old is Kurenai's child", It was the first time he spoke to Hinata since they've been walking outside.
Hinata looked up at him and smiled.
" He's a year and few months now" she smiled
She enjoyed spending time with Kurenai-sensei and the baby. It kinda made Hinata think of what it would have been like if maybe she had her own child, his skin was so soft and he enjoyed playing with her it was like having a little brother, she wished she had.
They finally came up to Kurenai's house, just to see the former Kunoichi outside in the garden, and right beside was her small baby boy, who was having his own fun, playing with the red ball. You could here his squeals of joy from the entrance of the house.
Kurenai looked up and smiled at the two.
" Hinata, Sasuke are you two here after a mission?" asked Kurenai as she got up and removed her gloves.
Hinata blushed and shook her head.
''A-actually Sasuke wanted to come along to visit you, with me", she replied to her sensei.
Sasuke only gave the Kunoichi a nod of respect, something he hardly do.
Kurenai-sensei smiled either ways
"then come along then" she said opening the gates for them to enter her compound.
Squeals were heard coming from baby Asuma on the ground, who was now crawling towards the group.
Hinata smiled as she took him up, the baby stared laughing showing the few baby tooth he had. H took a good chunk of Hinata's silky hair and began twirling it around his hands. Kids always enjoyed playing with Hinata's hair, they loved the fact that it was so soft, and felt so silky in their small hands.
Sasuke couldn't help but notice how well Hinata handled kids, she was just perfect, it's like she had that build in nurture and love that only true mothers had.
" Hinnanana' squealed Asuma in Hinata's arms.
Kurenai laughed.
"He's always so happy when people comes by, you should hear him when Shikamaru
comes over, he will never let go of the poor guy, it was like Shikamaru was his nii-san to him" said Kurenai happily
Hinata giggled as the little boy continued playing with the her hair, he was so fascinated with it. And it made her happy that he appreciated how hard she worked to keep it so beautiful.
" Say Hinata, I have something, I must give you, do you mind coming inside" asked Kurenai-sensei
Hinata looked on her sensei and realized that it must have been something really important.
"Of course Kurenai-sensei' answered Hinata.
"You can leave Asuma with Sasuke" smiled Kurenai.
Sasuke was sort of taken back, that she wanted to leave her child with him, the same guy who wanted to destroy Konoha and kill anyone that came in his way, the one who can inflict horrible pain on people with just one glance of his eyes.
He only nodded and took the child from Hinata, not even holding him right, but the fact still remained that he was holding him.
Kurenai smiled at the awkwardness on Sasuke's face.
"Don't worry Sasuke your doing good" she said as she walked off.
Hinata smiled at Sasuke and couldn't help but feeling a little embarrassed for him.
Both females walked into the house shutting the door behind them.
Sasuke looked down at Asuma who was staring up at him with a smile across his face, drool started running from the corner of his mouth and onto Sasuke's hand. Sasuke thought if how he could have just place the kid in some sweet place with his genjutsu as his sharingan activated themselves, but he knew that, Kurenai, being one of the leaves most useful genjustu users would definitely not agree to him , putting her son under a jutsu. He lifted his hands and touched Sasuke's eyes in awe.
" hn guess you like my sharingan" said Sasuke, the baby didn't even pay any attention to what the
Uchiha had said, he thoughts his eyes were more fascinating that the Uchiha himself.
Sasuke sighed and looked around the lawn , he saw the red ball and smirked.
" we can do something after all" he said as he walked over to where the ball was.
" what is it that you have that's important sensei?" asked Hinata
Kurenai sat around the table and motioned Hinata to do the same.
"I've been told of Hiashi's decision' she said softly.
Hinata sank down in her seat, great now their telling everyone.
Kurenai noticing the young Huyga's sudden change in the girls emotions reached out and cover her hands over Hinata's.
"Hinata I know it was wrong for them to just hand you to someone like that, I still can't believe that they are still practicing arranged marriage in your clan" said Kurenai-sensei with disbelief
Hinata sighed.
" your the only one that seems to understand" said Hinata softly, she tried hard not to cry since she was going to be walking with Sasuke later and didn't want the topic to be about her red eyes, to be the center of their conversation.
"Does Naruto o know?" asked Kurenai
Kurenai-sensei was the only one in which she openly admitted her feelings towards Naruto too, she had already know that she had a crush on Naruto, ever since she was a genin and always tried to give her advice about how to talk to boys, but those all fail since she still stutters uncontrollably around Naruto or anyone for a matter of fact.
Hinata slowly nodded her to answer her sensei.
Kurenai sighed at this, why wouldn't he, he and Sasuke are like brothers. They would never keep anything from each other.
" Kurenai glanced at through the window in the garden, as she could see Sasuke actually playing ball with her son. She couldn't help but realized that he does have some fatherly emotions in him.
" Hi-Hinata, I don't know what to say" stated Kurenai sadly.
" Y- yeah me either" said Hinata as she place her head on the table and wrapped her arms around her abdomen, this is the very spot will be bearing a child for Sasuke Uchiha. She sighed.
Maybe she needed to stop caring about how she felt.
"I'm being selfish, Kurenai-sensei" said Hinata softly with her head still on the table, the wood felt hard against her soft cheeks. She was staring directly at Sasuke playing with Asuma through the window.
" all I care about is how this is effecting me, yes I would rather bear a child and rebuild a clan for a man that Itadakimasu she love, but that's me being really selfish again, and not looking at how bringing the Uchiha clan back into existence is very important role"
" I'm not looking at the fact that yes a sacrifice has to be made, for something good to happen" said Hinata as she tried her best to fight the tears .
Kurenai was shocked at what her students was saying, is this Hinata?
"Gomenasai, Kurenai-sensei, maybe this was my purpose from the very beginning, maybe I was meant to be the one to restore the Uchiha clan, at least then I might actually bring happiness to my father, maybe then he would have some sort of respect for me" she said softly.
Drops of tears fell against the hard wood as images of Naruto flashed mind she wished she had the courage to tell him how she felt about him, but now it doesn't matter, he's the Hokage and probably can have any girl he wants now, and she is engaged to Sasuke to get married in a week and few days.
Hinata quickly wiped away her tears and cursed her self for being weak as usual.
"I've got to got Kurenai- sensei" said Hinata " I'll drop by again during the week" as she got up at started towards the door.
Kurenai gave a small smile but on the inside she felt kind of disgusted with herself for bringing it up.
"Hinata..."
" Its alright sensei, I promise I'll be fine, no need to worry", said Hinata with the a smile, that smile Kurenai even more.
They both went outside to see Sasuke and the baby still playing with the ball.
" Arigato Sasuke, it looks like my son has found a new friend" smiled Kurenai.
Sasuke carefully picked up the baby and brought him to Kurenai, he was getting better at holding him.
" Arigato' said Kurenai.
The baby began to sequel with joy at the sight of his mom.
"Now say sayonara" said Kurenai-sensei as she lifted her son's had to wave at both Hinata and Sasuke.
Hinata and Sasuke smiled at Asuma
"Sayonara Kurenai-sensei" they both bow, turned and left
today while I some guys were talking about Naruto in my research they were so shocked that I knew so much about Naruto, they had no idea that I was such an anime nerd lol .. if only they knew that i'm so obsessed with Naruto, I actually make up crazy stories about them in my head 0.o
whole time writing this I think I've listened to two whole Evanescence albums love them, really sets a tone for writing, new favorite is Lies you guys should check it out and Linkin Park of course :) byeee
