They passed the place where they met the Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise. When they reached the Viridian City Gym, they were shocked to find Gary as the Gym Leader. He took over as leader from Giovanni, and used two pokemon that he accidentally left behind in his Gym battles.
"Go, Sandslash" ordered Gary. "Go, Eevee" ordered Ash. "Sandslash, use Focus Blast." "Eevee, use Quick Attack to dodge, then use Toxic." Sandslash focused, and fired a concentrated ball of energy, only for Eevee to dodge it at a sonic speed, and badly poison the Sandslash. "Sandslash, use Fissure." "Eevee, use Endure, and focus the energy of all of your moves, and then release them." "Sandslash, use Substitute." Sandslash unleashed a massive earthquake, only for Eevee to endure it, and focus all of her moves to strike Sandslash, only for it to strike a substitute. "Eevee, use Last Resort." Sandslash fainted.
"Go, Marowak" ordered Gary. "Go, Charizard" ordered Ash. "Marowak, use-" "Charizard, use Fissure." Marowak fainted.
After Max, Jessie, and James got their badges, the group went their separate ways. Iris, Cilan, Dawn, Misty, and Brock went to Pallet Town to relax. Max, Ash, Jessie, and James went to train. And May, went to train as well, with a good friend of hers. His name? Red.
I know that this is a short chapter, but I am going to work immediately after I post this chapter (and I mean IMMEDIATELY) on the next chapter. So, Red is alive in this story, unlike in The Dragon Emperor where he's dead. Or supposedly dead (hint hint). Please Read and Review.
