It was the quarter finals of the Indigo League, and Jessie was facing James. "The blue corner (James) will choose first." Said the referee.
"Go, Weezing" ordered James. "Go, Arbok" ordered Jessie. "Weezing, use Will-O-Wisp" ordered James. "Arbok, use the Fire and electricity from Thunder Fang and Fire Fang to strike Weezing, then use Protect." Weezing exploded, and Arbok protected himself.
"Go, Victreebel" ordered James. He had found his old Victreebels, and they had given him their son. "Arbok, use Fire Fang" ordered Jessie. Arbok bit Victreebel with a flaming jaw, burning him. "Victreebel, use Stockpile" ordered James. "Arbok, Stokpile" ordered Jessie. When Victreebel got three Stockpiles, Arbok used Thunder Fang, paralyzing him. Arbok then used a final Stockpile, and used a combination of Gastro Acid and Spit Up to knock out Victreebel.
"Go, Cacturne" ordered James. "Arbok, return, go, Yanmega" ordered Jessie. "Yanmega, use Bug Buzz" ordered Jessie. The super-effective attack struck Cacturne. "Cacturne, use Payback and Revenge" ordered James. Yanmega was struck hard. "Now use Destiny Bond, Cacturne" ordered James. Before Cacturne could use it, Yanmega knocked him out with a full power Bug Buzz.
"Go, Cofagrigus" ordered James. "Go, Arbok" ordered Jessie. "Cofagrigus, use Destiny Bond" ordered James. "Arbok, use Stockpile three times, then use Spit Up wrapped in a Gunk Shot" ordered Jessie. Cofagrigus fainted, and then Arbok fainted.
"Go, Arcanine" ordered James. "Go, Jellicent" ordered Jessie. "Jellicent, use Rain Dance, and Water Spout. Arcanine fainted.
"Go, Carnivine" ordered James. "Go, Seviper" ordered Jessie. "Carnivine, use Power Whip" James ordered. "Seviper, use Poison Fang" Jessie ordered. The two rivals hissed with happiness that they got to face each other, and attacked. Seviper was hit hard, and badly poisoned Carnivine. "Seviper, use Venoshock, then use Sludge Wave and Flamethrower. Use Sunny Day as well." Struck by all the attacks, Carnivine fainted.
A/N Next Chapter will be Ash versus Ritchie and Max versus Jessie. Then will be the finals. Then will be the Elite four one after another, and when Ash reaches Lance...
