Jessie and Ash locked eyes with each other. Once, they were enemies. Now, they were rivals. They both would give it everything they had. "Go, Pikachu" ordered Ash. "Go, Arbok" ordered Jessie.

"Pikachu, use Volt Tackle" Ash ordered. "Arbok, you know what to do" Jessie said. Pikachu wrapped himself in electricity, and then struck Arbok. Arbok used Ice Fang, freezing Pikachu, and then used Fissure, knocking Pikachu out.

"Go, Latias" ordered Ash. "Go, Cloyster" ordered Jessie. A/N Jessie had found her old Shellder, on a Slowbro. She returned it, devolving the Slowbro, and after lots of training, gave it a Water Stone. It still knew all the moves it had learned as a Slowbro, however. {Latias, use Psychic} ordered Ash. "Cloyster, use Blizzard" ordered Jessie. Latias's eyes glowed blue, and she struck Cloyster with a burst of Psychic energy. Cloyster then unleashed a blizzard, freezing Latias. "Now use Sheer Cold." Latias fainted. A/N Yes, I know that Cloyster can't learn Sheer Cold.

"Go, Charizard" ordered Ash. "Cloyster, use Rain Dance, then use Hydro Pump" ordered Jessie. "Charizard, dodge by going up in the air, and use Focus Blast" ordered Ash. It began to rain, and Cloyster shot a jet of pressurized water at Charizard. Charizard flew up in the sky, dodging the Hydro Pump, focused, and shod a concentrated blast of energy at Cloyster, knocking it out.

"Go, Jellicent" ordered Jessie. "Charizard, use Shadow-Dragon Slash." ordered Ash. Charizard used a combination of Slash in a Dragon Claw and a Shadow Claw, knocking out Jellicent.

"Go, Arbok" ordered Jessie. "Charizard, land and use Fissure" ordered Ash. "Arbok, use your own Fissure" ordered Jessie. The two one hit knockout moves wrecked the field. "Use Toxic, then use Venoshock" ordered Jessie. "Charizard, use Sunny Day, then use Fire Blast" ordered Ash. The weather turned back to normal, and Charizard was badly poisoned. Then, Arbok shot a jet of poison at Charizard, striking him hard. Then, Charizard shot a kanji symbol of fire at Arbok, knocking him out.

"Go, Seviper" ordered Jessie. "Charizard, use Sunny Day" Ash ordered. "Seviper, use Venoshock" ordered Jessie. The sun shone heavily, and Charizard was struck by a powerful jet of poison. I need to end this quickly, Charizard won't last much longer because of Solar Power. Thought Ash. "Charizard, use Flare Blitz" Ash ordered. Seviper fainted.

"Go, Drapion" ordered Jessie. She had caught a powerful Drapion when she was training, and she had found a place on Jessie's best team. "Charizard, use Overheat" ordered Ash. Drapion fainted.

"Go, Yanmega" ordered Jessie. Jessie knew that she had lost, but her Yanmega was her strongest pokemon, and she would go down fighting. "Charizard, use Blast Burn" ordered Ash. Well, maybe she wouldn't go down fighting. Yanmega fainted, and then Charizard did as well.

"Ash Ketchum has won the Indigo League" the referee announced. To Ash, it was music to his ears.

So, Ash has won the league. Next chapter will reveal that May wasn't even in the stands with the rest of his friends. Oh, and in case you are wondering, here is Jessie's strongest team from strongest, to weakest.
