This chapter will take a slightly darker turn, with May as the main character. Oh, I've decided who I'm going to dedicate the sequel to this story to. Ash went to his cheering friends. He suddenly realized something. "Wait, where's May" he asked. Their faces all suddenly dropped as they realized that they had no idea.

Meanwhile, on the top of Mount Silver…

"He won, he won, he won, he won!" Cheered May, hugging and kissing and hugging Red, his pokemon, and her pokemon. Red blushed, his face burning as he put his hand to his cheek. He had always had a crush on May. He planned to tell her today, while she was happy over her friends win. She looked at him, and realized that he wanted to give her something. He went to a secret compart in his bed, and pulled out...a Master Ball. "No no no, I can't take this" she gasped, her face turning red as Groudon. He shook his head, and put it in her hands. "Tha- thank you" she stuttered, then she embraced him. "May," he said through the psychic link his Espeon provided. "I-I-I lo-" he began when the house was destroyed. "Red!" She screamed as she ran to his body. She put her finger in front of his nose. No breath. She checked his pulse. No heartbeat.

She looked up, only to see a strangely dressed man atop a Lugia, that looked different, but more, well, evil. Also much cooler she thought in the back of her mind. "This is a Shadow Pokemon" he said. "Shadow Pokemon are Pokemon that have the door to their hearts artificially closed." He then continued to explain all about Shadow Pokemon, and about the Shadow Lugia he was riding, XD002. He then sent out an army of Shadow Pokemon. One by one, Red's Charizard, his Venusaur, his Blastoise, his Lapras, his Snorlax, his Espeon, and his Pikachu fainted. They were then turned into Shadow Pokemon. May returned them to their Pokeballs. She then threw her Master Ball at XD002, catching it. In anger and sadness, Blaziken punched a hole through the man's chest, killing him.

Knowing that she had no choice, May stepped on Red's Pokeballs, one by one, killing the pokemon inside. She then sent out XD002. {I shall never submit to you, puny human} said XD002. May screamed in anger and sadness, and the Shadow power inside XD002, went inside May.

When May woke up, XD002 explained what happened. "How come you are still a Shadow Pokemon then" May asked. XD002 explained, that even if the door to her heart was opened, she would forever still be a Shadow Pokemon. "You came from the Orre region, right" asked May. XD002 nodded. May turned to her with dead eyes, pits of blackness that held no emotion. "Take me there" she ordered. Recalling her other Pokemon, she went atop of XD002. XD002 then flew toward the Orre region.

A/N So, Red's dead, May has lost all emotion, and Shadow Pokemon are back. Yippe. So, when I'm done with Kanto Revisited, should I do a story detailing May's adventures in Orre?
