Sorry I went to NY today and came home late. I'm super tired I want to go to sleep so here you go:

Chapter 14:

She was glad the whole mysterious blond and Jack Brewer thingy had gone down on the social media websites and whatnot. To be honest it was quite annoying. Some people supported it, some down right dissed her, threatened her, and all the things you see fangirls do. Another thing that happened was apparently the magazine with Jack and herself made sales skyrocket. Magazines, J&M Collection for Him and Her had gone off without a hitch and everything right now at the moment was almost perfect, well she really didn't have anything to compare this so said perfect moment to consider her life was in simply terms 'shitty'.

Whenever she was over at Jack's house, she had to remind herself that she had a well dorm back on campus, yet she always found herself in Jack's bed at his house. No harm was done and they did nothing more than cuddling and little kisses here and there on the cheek or neck. And if someone was feeling bold they shared a chaste kiss on the lips. So her first kiss was with Jack, but it wasn't anything special or anything. She liked that they hadn't really made a big deal out of their relationship, and everything was nice, slow, and so ordinary, and nothing out of those cliche books or movies. To be honest, she never really like any of that shit. She thought it was too sappy and too predictable. But, right now she had to do something that she had been meaning to do for a few months.

"Hey... um Jack?" Kim said timidly, as she walked in the den to see Jack watching TV.

"Yeah babe." Jack replied smoothly

"Can I talk to you real quick?"

"Uh-huh" he hummed as he patted the sofa spot next to him. Kim made her way to the spot in which his hand had just padded.

"I want to quit." Kim stated out

Jack rose an eyebrow. "Quit what?"

"Us."

"Kim you have to more specific, because right now I'm not liking what my mind is thinking." Jack warned a little crestfallen

"No no, it's not what you think. I need to quit this personal assistant thingy going on. I don't like the idea of my... of my boy-...my boyfriend being my boss and paying me. It kind of ruins the whole vibe. I feel like you're paying me to be with you, like a prostitute. And I'm anything but a prostitute."

"I see... but what about your money situation?"

"With the money I earned from you, I think I'll be fine. I can find some other job too." Kim assured him

"Alright but just to let you know, you'll alway be my personal assistant no matter what." Jack grinned evilly

"Like hell Jackson."

It's been at least four months and nothing has really happened between the couple. They've told their friends and they've told Maria and Jane. They haven't gone public but they did announce that the only reason that they were seen together had only been because Kim was his personal assistant and they were grocery shopping. Though Kim felt bad for fooling the cashier at the store, she did go back and apologize to her saying Jack was being a jerk and was joking around. Though one thing did unsettle with Kim.

"Hey Jack, why haven't I met or even seen your dad?" Kim had asked one afternoon. It was summer break and they were hanging at Jack's house.

Jack shrugged in a non-caring way. "He's always on business. Since I moved out I don't usually see him when he's back from trips. Plus the fact that our schedules don't really matchup."

"Well can't I meet him?"

"Well you can but I don't know if he's on business or anything and frankly I don't care." Jack sighed as he continued to flip through his phone.

"Do you not like your dad or something?"

"Let's just say my dad and I don't see eye to eye."

"Daddy issues?"

"Kim" Jack sighed. "Let's just drop it okay? If you want to meet him I'll arrange something alright?"

"Jack if you're not happy with meeting with your dad we don't have to. I was just being weird. Don't worry about it." Kim said. She really didn't know Jack and his dad had a rocky relationship. seeing as he had a wonderful relationship with his mother.

"No, Kim. You're not being weird, I was just being rude. Of course we can meet my dad. I think he's back from Japan or something. I'll see what I can do." Jack said.

"Jack, sweetie, we really don't have to if you feel uncomfortable." Kim spoke softly.

"I'm fine stop acting as if me seeing my dad will be the end of the world." Jack brushed off.

"If you say so. Grace invited me to go to the gym with the guys, you sure you don't want to come? I know you have to get up early tomorrow but..." Kim asked.

"Nah, I think I'm going to rest up. Flights at 6 in the morning." Jack said.

"Alright." Kim said as she stood up, gave Jack a peck on the lips then continued up the stairs where her duffle bag was. Jack was going to Italy for a shoot and she had kindly decline going saying she really didn't like flying and Jack reluctantly agreed to go alone.

Kim's phone buzzed and she checked her message.

Outside. Ready for hell? xP

Kim rolled her eyes and gathered up her stuff headed out the door before shouting a quick goodbye to Jack.

"How... are... you... so ... good... at... this?!" Brody had heavily panted as he circled around the ring with Kim. Waiting for her to strike again.

"Honestly... I don't.. know." Kim panted as well but not as heavily as Brody. She looked for an opening before faking a left hook and when Brody dodged to the right Kim hit him with a right jab right in the gut.

"Oof" Brody grunted.

Kim then went for a leg swipe when Brody clutched his stomach from the punch, he continued to fall on the ground with a thud.

DING DING

The ringing marked the end of the fourth round they were at.

"Damn Kim!" Grace complimented.

"Looks like we got a quick learner on our hands." Brett had laughed.

"I call next round!" Jerry shouted.

Kim smiled but took a deep breath to allow more oxygen to get in her body. Wiping the sweat off her forehead she then stood up and helped Brody get up who was laying down in the middle of the ring trying to steady his breath and slow down his heart beat.

"Not bad, but seriously. You got everything and more by the second round. Are you sure you've never boxed before?" Brody grinned

"First time." Kim said as she shook her head.

"1 win Brody, a tie and the winner... KIM CRAWFORD with a stunning 2 wins!" Grace had announced with a laugh. " Oh yeah! Girl power!"

Kim laughed at her friend and stepped out of the ring, getting a drink of water. "God I'm going to be so sore tomorrow this is the most exercise I gotten in like forever!"

"Yeah you're barely be able to move. I suggest an ice bath when you ladies get to the locker rooms. I already called someone to step them up for you girls." Brett announced.

"Ice bath?" Kim said with dread. She hated cold showers or even being cold.

"Yes ice bath. No ice bath, no complaining tomorrow when your body hurts" Brody threatened.

"I hate you." Kim said as she made her way towards the locker room with Grace. "See you guys in 40 to 60 minutes."

"I miss you." Kim sighed through the phone as she held it between her ear and shoulder.

"Yeah... I miss you too. It's been pretty stressful I gotta say. But... the pasta's pretty awesome." Jack chucked through his phone as he laid in his hotel room staring at the ceiling

"Eat anymore and you'll be a fatass." Kim joked as she continue to type away at her computer.

"Yeah not gonna happen. I will forever stay this handsome, fit, and sexy." Jack cockily said.

"And might you remind me why I date an egotist jerk, like you?" Kim hummed

"Because I'm too damn sexy to ignore that's why babe." Jack's reply came quick. Kim rolled her eyes. "And the fact you love me too much."

"Unfortunately that's the only thing you got to make me stay with you." Kim laughed

"You hurt me princess. Look I got to go. I wish I could talk more. It feels like forever since I saw that beautiful smile of yours." Jack sighed unhappily

"Ew don't get all mushy gushy with me pretty boy." Kim smiled

"Oh.. I'm sorry, let me rephrase that. Fuck babe, you get me so hard everytime I think of that tight little ass of yours. I can't wait 'till I get back home so I can fuck that tight pussy of yours." Jack had said over the phone huskily.

** OKAY YOU MAY CONTINUE READING NOW **

"Jack! You nasty little bastard. Fuck off. Bye!" Kim had turned embarrassingly red as she answered her lover.

"Wait wait, one last thing. Dinner with dad on Sunday." Jack hurried said in fear she had already hung up on him.

"Ah.. okay. Bye! Miss you." Kim replied

"Me too. Bye baby." Jack smirk and the call had ended between the two.

Jack sighed as he sat up on his bed. Unfortunately for him, his father had called instead of the other way. His father had wanted to meet, and Jack thought it was the perfect opportunity for his dad to meet Kim. Jack had told his old man that he was bring his girlfriend, and he had faintly heard his dad grumble something incoherent, and ignored it. Kim was going to meet his dad and he was dreading that.

Sighing he heaved himself up and prepared to go to the shower. He had to sleep early, he had a photoshoot, and he had wished the model was Kim. And yeah it was Kim, Kim Angelo. Oh the irony.

Sunday had finally come and Kim was as nervous as ever. Not because she was finally getting to meet Jack's dad, but nervous on what was going to happen once Jack and his father actually meet face to face. From all the info she had dug out from the boys and Jane, Jack and his father didn't have a good relationship. Jack's father is owner of Brewer & Co. one of the worlds largest companies. Jack's father wanted Jack to take over the company since he was the heir. And being heir to the company meant being proper, business like, and have endless knowledge of proper mannerism and nice etiquette. And Jack was not about that life. Thus rebelling, taking his mother's side of business, and earning the reputation of being a heartbreaker, a party animal, and last of all a beast in the bedroom, or so she heard. Kim had of course heard the rumors of Jack Brewer in bed, but she herself had not been able to confirmed it, and it made her blush a bit.

Back on track, Jack's father had been angered in his choice of business and always forced Jack into going to business dinners with him, or long board meetings wanting him to get the hang of the business. Jack had done those things being forced of course. Kim had heard from Jerry that, Jack's father had never appreciated Jack, and always thought lowly of Jack, which caused the rift in their father-son relationship. Kim prayed that nothing bad would happen during dinner.

"Stop shaking, it'll be fine. Show me that confidence you have that I find so hot." Jack a murmured in her ear as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. "You look beautiful."

True to his word, Kim stopped shaking and took another look at her outfit. She wore a HERVE LEGER Iman Foil Gold Champagne Metallic coated bandage dress, which was a tight fitting champagne colored dress with a halter top, and the back was left bare. She wore gold strappy heels, much to her dismay, and was holding a black clutch. She really did look pretty good.

"Thanks Jack... you look good, like you always do." Kim laughed, Jack gave her a grin before leading her out to his car. Then they headed to the restaurant to meet Jack's father.

"Jack!"

"What?"

"You're dad's hot!"

"Hey blondie, stop ogling my father would cha?" Jack muttered somewhat angrily.

"Hello Mr. Brewer! Nice to meet you! Now I know where Jack get's his good looks from, it must run in the family. My name's Kim Crawford." Kim beamed as she stepped forward to greet Jack's dad.

"Ah, nice to meet you.. Kim. I've heard about you from my wife. My name's Sterling, no need for Mr Brewer." Jack's dad had greeted back.

"I'll take note of that." Kim laughed to herself. Silence fell upon them as Sterling and Jack stared down at each other. Kim smiled uneasily as she hastily elbowed Jack and hissed, "Jack"

"Father."

"Jackson."

They all sat down, and the waiter came by with menus. They all ordered and Kim had started a conversation with Sterling.

"So you're the top of your class?" Sterling brought up

"Yeah, I am." Kim smiled

"Quite a smart girlfriend you have, unlike the last... how many girlfriends was it again Jackson?" Sterling had nonchalantly spoken.

Jack gritted his teeth and shot his father a glare, Jack felt Kim squeeze his knee before calming down. "Unfortunately father, I don't remember. I've settled down with Kim now and she's all I focus on."

"Until the next one? How long until you move on to the next one and leave her behind." Came Sterling's witty remark, and the way he had said 'her' with much disdain had Kim biting her lips. Not one dinner can go well with the Brewers can it?

"Don't talk to her like that. I won't just leave her, she's different." Jack snapped back.

"Oh yum dessert is here!" Kim had swiftly said as she grabbed a sorbet off a waiter's tray and placed it in front of her, glaring off the waiter that was about to protest. "Get us two more, please"

The waiter nodded fearfully before running off to the kitchen.

Sterling somewhat impressed at Kim's ability to change the subject rose an eyebrow at her. Hmmm interesting. Too bad she won't do, such a shame. I kinda liked her.

When the waiter had returned with two more sorbets the Brewer men dug in slowly as they watched the blond study the two and act as a referee if something bad was going to happen.

After they had finished, Sterling finally was ready to speak about the reason in which he called Jack out. Just as he was about to speak, Kim's phone rang.

"I'm sorry, I have to take this." Kim had apologized and got up from the table to answer her phone.

"I like her."

"Good, I like her too."

"But she won't do Jackson. I'm afraid you have to break up with her.

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"Hello?"

"Kim, it's Brody, this is really important where are you?"

"I told you guys already I'm at a restaurant called Fresh with Jack and his father why?"

"Shit." there was a yell "Kim it's Grace. Come outside of the restaurant right now and we're like three minutes away."

"What's going on? Grace..."

"Kim, you're not gonna like the situation, you need to get out now!"

"Grace just tell me!"

"Kim... Jack's engaged."

"What?"

"We just heard about this too. Jack's dad is arranging a marriage with this girl from another high end company so that their companies can merge and become bigger." This time it was Brody who spoke.

Kim bite her lip. Really now? This was happening right now.

"And we just found out that Jack's dad set up this meeting to tell Jack that he has a fiance and that's why you need to get out now. We don't want you getting hurt like this. We're outside."

Kim sighed, "Yeah I'll be right out." Kim made her way back to the table.

"Jackson meet your new fiance, Aine O'Durren." Sterling had said a women had popped up. She had long jet black hair that reached her mid-back, stunning hazel eyes, with luscious lips. She was about 5'7 with heels and had a nice long slender figure, and a rounded bust. She was tan, almost as tan as Jack but slightly lighter, and she had pearly white teeth. She was gorgeous to say the least. (Shoutout to Song of the Felines for this character)

"Nice to meet you, handsome" Aine had spoke in her calming yet alluring voice.

Despite knowing the girl in front of him was gorgeous, even hot, Jack rejected the idea. Kim was who his heart belonged to. Shit! Where was Kim?

"No." Jack had said as he crossed his arms and scanned the restaurant for Kim.

"My, my, feisty aren't we?" She had smirked.

"You have no choice Jackson. This is what's best for the company." Sterling had spoke.

"I don't give a damn about your company. I'm not breaking up with Kim just because you arranged this stupid marriage between me and her. This is the 21st century, hello! Who the fuck arranges marriages anymore." Jack scowled at his father as he stood up from the table.

"Uh uh uh Jackson... not so fast. You don't want Kim's family going bankrupt do you?" Sterling had spoke calmly

Jack turned his head. "What are you talking about?"

"As you probably don't know, Kim's parents are in debt, and they're just a couple thousand short before paying them off. But you wouldn't want something bad happening to them so they become more and more in debt do you? I mean I do own one of the biggest companies in the world. It's a miracle what one call can do." Sterling had somewhat threatened.

"Tch you wouldn't. It's a miracle what one call can do. What if the tabloids find out huh?" Jack spoke

"But they wouldn't Jackson. I have this all planned out. If you do decided to breakup with Kim, I might even help pay off the Crawford's debt." Sterling reasoned.

Jack thought hesitantly. He couldn't. Kim was in his heart, but if he chose her then her family would suffer, if he chose her family, she would suffer.

What a fucked up guy! Who is he to make his only child to choose between his girlfriend and his girlfriends' family. Asshole. Aine had thought. She was not about to ruin Jack's relationship and make him hate her. Plus she hadn't even wanted to marry Jack. For godsakes she was a fucking...

Just as Aine was about to speak up, a beautiful blonde showed up at their table.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your- erm meeting but I have to go. Nice meeting you Sterling." Kim had spoken.

"Wait! What's your name?" Aine had asked.

"Kim, and you must be Jack's new fiance. I have to go now, but nice meeting you. You're very pretty" Kim replied with a bittersweet smile and grabbed her clutch before turning to leave

"Kim I can explain!" Jack said as he grabbed her wrist. "Don't go..."

Kim gently pried of his hand and held it for a brief second before placing by his side.

"We'll talk later, I promise. You should get to know your fiance. She looks like a keeper." Kim had softly said before nudging her head in Aine's direction . "What's her name?"

Jack sighed as he closed his eyes, "Aine"

"She's cute. Go talk to her. Don't worry about me." Kim gently said.

"Kim, please. Don't go. I don't want her, I want you." Jack's voice strained and cracked.

It pained Kim to see his sad eyes but she shook her head sadly and walked away. She walked away, but it wouldn't be forever. It would be for now.

Aine watched Jack and Kim's little encounter and her heart broke to the two of them. But she's gotta admit, she wouldn't mind to take one for herself. Aine looked over to Sterling to see a somewhat satisfied look, but she could see he wasn't completely satisfied. Like he was happy Kim left but at the same time not. Fucking weirdo bastard

Jack sullenly sat down back at his seat and put his head in his hands. Aine was about to speak again but someone had beat her to it, again.

"Just wait. I'll get Kim back. No offense Aine. You seem like a nice girl and all but all I want is Kim. Just wait, 'till mom hears about this, Father." Jack spat venomously. And then he was gone.

Aine sighed. Jesus. She didn't even like how she was dragged into this mess.
