Chapter 3
Rainbow Dash hovered in place, arms crossed and glaring at Sonic while Twilight is telling him that he needs to crash with her. Sonic emerald eyes lit up like green disco lights and a small competitive smirk became evident on his peach hued muzzle. After Twilight finished talking to the Speedy hedgehog he walked over to Dash.
It couldn't get better than this; finally, Sonic could have the chance to talk to her and get to know his new speedy adversary. Maybe he could even get to race her... AND BLOW HER FREAKING WINGS OFF!
His mind explodes with anticipation and excitement, finally someone he could race against and won't have to hold back. He smirked, "she'll have no feathers left on her wings once I've raced her" he thinks to himself, confidence and cockiness reaching to all time high, peaking off as he got near to her.
Sonic finally reached Rainbow Dash, who was standing there with a disapproved look on her face. He looked her over a quick glance; a moment longer when his Emerald green eyes met her gorgeous, big magenta eyes. "Coooool..." He thought. "That's totally a bonus."
"Soo, guess I'm crashin' at your place." Sonic derped with a hand in his pocket, looking at her from the side, and a smug grin on his face while Rainbow Dash looked at him rolling her big eyes, can't believe she have to deal with this overly cocky guy; his confidence inundates out of him fiercer than a waterfall.
Rainbow Dash shook her head and held a hand out, "well, let's go; got to fly you up there. Her magenta eyes flashed in the moonlight as she eyed her floating house sitting comfortably in the night sky, drifting at a creep.
Sonic followed her gaze towards her house and looked back at her. "Well what're we waiting for?" Sonic asked rhetorically. Smirking, he ran vertically up a nearby building and acrobatically landed on a cloud, doing his trademark thumbs up and Smirk.
Rainbow Dash is taken aback by this, being that he didn't have the Pegasus magical ability to walk on clouds, but she shrugged it off. "Wow, that's cool..." She thought to herself. But what her adversary said next surprised her even more.
"Race you up there Dashie!" Sonic proclaimed using her pet name he heard mentioned by Pinkie Pie as he strategically scoured and zoomed between clouds up towards the sky making his way to a decent sized cloud-house with liquid Rainbows pouring out of channels like water made in the cloud.
Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in all of Equestria, is NOT going to let this guy come out of nowhere and beat her to her own house. Nope! Not today- err, night! The cyan, anthropomorphic pony shot off like a cannon toward her home. Adrenaline rushed into her veins as she blasted off towards the ball of blue.
"Just 50 yards more" she thinks to herself, tasting victory.
Just at that moment Sonic had cartwheel-flipped over her head and ran on top of the surprisingly firm cloud foundation and bolted to the door. At this moment RD also reached the cyan blue door tagging it just as Sonic did at the same time with a loud knock.
The two huffed and puffed for a few seconds having spent a lot of energy from the mad dash to the entrance of Rainbow Dash's house.
In that split second the moon glittered off Rainbow's big, shiny eyes just perfectly, causing a small, admiring smile spread across Sonic's peach colored muzzle. Such beauty. This sight gripped his heart as he continued to swim in the depths of her eyes.
Rainbow Dash finally caught her breath and was about to lead him through the house, until she notice that he was gazing at her absentmindedly, his emerald green eyes tinsel.
"Umm, yo Sonic, you alright?" She inquired, one eyebrow rising.
Sonic shook his head quickly and he blinked a couple of times, shaking her stunning gaze out of his head. "Oh, yeah I'm okay."
The spectra haired female then opened her front door and led Sonic and herself into the house. Once she closed the door she clapped her hands twice which initiated the lights coming on in the spacious and comfortable looking living room. The room color scheme was a relaxing sky-blue, accompanied with a puffy baseboard that simulated clouds. The lightening in the room simulated the sun peeking through the clouds, setting Sonic's mood into a lazy, contented one. There were a legion of awards and records from various flying sports teams and gold vinyl from popular producers. One peculiar Record that stood out most sat smack-dab in the middle of the wall and was signed DJ PON-3 in scribble-scrabble and a heart. There was large, flat screen television on the wall adjacent to the one full with records and rewards. Sonic decided to walk around a little as Rainbow left the room momentarily. There was a cyan blue and pearl white drum set sitting in the corner which accompanied a sweet sunburst guitar.
"She has awesome taste." Sonic agreeably muttered to himself while slightly nodding.
Rainbow Dash went into her modern style kitchen and made her way straight for the double-door fridge. Her hands fumbled around until she found what she yearned for; a halfway finished Strawberry milkshake. Her cerulean wings erected slowly in bliss as her lips closed over the straw and started to consume the chilled, delicious beverage.
As she drank her mind started to reevaluate today's different outcome. One minute she's out celebrating with her friends, and the next she's chasing down two aliens she thought had something to do with Celestia's Galley crashing. She hasn't had that much fun in months... Rainbow Dash almost finished the milkshake till her mind reached... How dare she even think it, her favorite part of the day, and the little race to her house against Sonic?
She hopped up on her breakfast bar and lay on her back pondering upon the mini race.
She hasn't met anyone who could come even CLOSE to her speed! (Except for Lightening Dust but after the incident with herself and being kicked out of the Wonderbolts training squad, she hasn't been heard from since.)
She smiled warmly at the thought of racing him again.
Maybe he really isn't an evil doer.
Content, she withdrew the straw from the milkshake cup and brought it to her lips. She then drew in a deep breath and started to blow through the straw. Miniature, puffy clouds materialized from the end of the straw and floated around peacefully and slowly, pervading through the kitchen and living room adjacent to it.
After a few moments Sonic walked in the room with a cloud-stache and deadpanned at Rainbow dash. She laughed at this as she facepalmed jokingly.
Tails sat opposite to Twilight in the traditional style kitchen as they ate some sandwiches that Twilight's trusty assistant, Spike, whipped up. They talked about themselves a bit more in detail and again about the journey here.
Twilight's huge purple eyes kept attentive on the Orange fox and her ears pricked to catch every word he said. Tails didn't think anything of it though because he was now discussing the technical abilities of his beloved creation: his now wrecked, Super Tornado F10. Her mind was processing everything he mentioned about his aviation marvel and super nerdy tech talk.
After a few minutes of hearing him speak about the special equipment he stuffed into the Super Tornado: EMP systems, advance radar, flares, missiles, mini-bombs, rings etc., Twilight's intelligent mind whirled with fascinations and scenarios of the Kitsune that tickled her ears with his smarty-talk. She has never in such a long time spoken to someone with such knowledge. It excited her! Even though some of the technology he cited didn't exist on her planet, Zieta, yet. (Can someone give me a better name to name the planet that Equestria resides?)
Twilight was in a world of her own, full of steamy scenarios and intimate moments. Involving a certain someone she just met.
"Twilight..." Her mind envisioned Tails cuddling with her on the balcony of her home, his voice titillated softly at her ears. "Twilight..." He whispered again. Twilight blushed deeply and she sighs. "TWILIGHT!" She hears her name being called again but this time not from her dreamy fox, but from her assistant, Spike.
Twilight blinked her eyes a few times as they refocused thus jogging her back to reality. Spike was now at her side waving his small hands in her face, she finally realized what she was thinking about and she blushed profusely; rosy red against her tan skin.
Thankfully Tails yawned loudly relieving the attention on her. "Spike, if you would be so very kind to show Tails the guest bedroom please?" Twi asked politely, still blushing. Spike shook his head slowly and led the obviously sleepy fox to the guest bedroom and less than a minute later he arrived back almost bypassing the kitchen until he saw the Blushing alicorn still sitting there grasping her skirt tightly and looking as if she was trying to stare through the table.
"Twilight, aren't you going to head off to bed?" Spike asked.
"No..." Twilight squeaked.
"Why not?"
"I can't get up..." She squeaked again now shutting her eyes.
Spike thought for a moment, after some thinking he came to a conclusion and sweat-dropped.
"Oh sweet Celestia, why?" Spike thought to himself.
Celestia's beautiful, morning sun creped over the horizon, pouring its gentle rays on a certain blue hedgehog's face as he lay on an extremely comfortable, cloud-cushioned sofa, the soft rays gently stirred him from his slumber and he awoke lazily and stretched for about 5 long minutes. His emerald green eyes scanned his surroundings and smelled the arousing aroma of black coffee wafting as a seductive cloud; seducing his feet to give chase.
Sonic walked around a bit, while sipping his cup of Joe, but also exploring Rainbow Dash's big home. Sonic's curiosity sparked as he reconnoitered around the upstairs portion of the house, especially when his eyes caught a fancier door slightly ajar on the end of the hall. Although part of him tried to withdraw his curiosity from the door; being that this is trespassing on personal space... And also plus this is a girls room... He obstinately eased towards it slowly and peered in.
Magnificent rays of sunlight licked his face warm the instant he stuck his head through the door. Beautiful, light cerulean paint masked the walls of the wide elliptical room. Clouds drifted lazily around the room, casting soft, hazy shadows. The mood of the room was warm, and reassuring, bringing a smile to Sonic's face. There was large two story windows that permitted the might sun's beams to enter the beautiful room. The bed floated silently off the ground towards the head of the room, on it was a light soft fabric that tickled Sonic's fingers when he touched it.
He looked around slowly and sat sheepishly on the cloud like bed; it instantly took his soul in gentle arrest and his body instantly relaxed. The bed automatically conformed to his body, making his eyes slowly close...
Tails woke up with a start when he heard a loud crack then a mechanical crash from outside, followed by some male voice talking loudly, then a female voice replying. Tails got out of bed as if full of energy and made his way down the stairs and towards the double-door front door.
He opened the door to investigate the source of the sound and when he did he almost bumped into Twilight entering the home. "Oh! Good morning Tails! I've got a surprise for you!" She exclaimed enthusiastically, eyes lighting up with happiness.
She led him outside and the Kitsune mouth dropped. There it was, his master creation, sitting right in front of the library tree-house. "H-how... It was literally in pieces, it's at least 6 tons and it could blow up at any moment, How did-?" Tails shocked voice stammered in a mixture of joy and confusion. "Well, I woke up this morning and decided to help you out" she smiled sweetly at him. "I gathered up all the small pieces your plane dropped from over a 1.2 square mile area and then got some help teleporting it here." She smiled some more clearly enjoying Tails beyond thankful look in his face as he stared stupefied at it. "Thank you Twilight! Thank you so much!" He graciously thanked as he walked closer to wrecked jet examining the different parts of the tattered plane to begin the restoration process. "How could I ever thank you" he asked rhetorically.
Twilight grasped his question in her mind and answered it herself. And within a few seconds her cheeks lit up a rosy type of red.
Rainbow dash flew uncharacteristically slow as she headed towards her house after vigorous, morning Wonderbolt practice. Only the soothing bolster thought of her finally being able to relax and go to sleep in her comfortable bed kept her going. She started to think where the blue hedgehog was doing, probably still napping away or speeding around the town.
She finally reached her balcony to her room and opened the Herculean glass double door that permitted entrance to room; a sigh of relief escaped her lips. She approached her bed and once she did she saw a spiky hedgehog already being enchanted by her opulent bed.
A slight scowl spread across her face as she stalked up to his resting body and was prepared to punch him in his... Cute... Sleeping face...
Sonic eyes open slowly as he halfway awoke from his slumber and looked up at Rainbow Dash. At once they snapped opened, wide in shock and jumped up which jarred Dashie out of her dream like stare and she yelped loudly.
Doctor Eggman went into full manufacturing mode as he went into faze one of his ingenious plan. Sounds of welding and blunt hammering rang, echoing around in deep reverb. Robots scurried around the massive building carrying parts or assimilating massive machinery.
A loud screech emanated deafeningly from one side of the colossal building as something began to tear. What that tearing was the fabric of time and space being ripped open by a maniacal invention of Eggman's. A vibrant-harsh purple hue exploded from the center of the massive proxy being stretched open; releasing a wave of smothering heat. A Herculean warship moved towards the massive vivid-purple gash in the fabric of time and space and passed through it with a loud warping sound
"Doctor! Your Warp Ring works!" Bocoe and Decoe said in unison.
"OF COURSE IT DID, SODER FOR BRAINS!" the evil doctor retorted.
"Get the construction drones ready for assembling the next first phase of the plan." Eggman shouted to his go-to bots, Decoe and Bocoe while he was under a very intricate mechanical machine.
"Yes Doctor." They replied in unison, again, heading out the massive garage to carry out the doctor's orders.
Eggman couldn't believe his luck as he thought back to the previous few days. Eggman haven't been feeling himself in a long time, thus why he haven't been prevalent in trying to emanate his Eggmanland "utopia" in Mobius. Thanks to that ship he encountered yesterday, he would be able to RULE the world, multiple worlds, with the fake chaos emeralds and the Sacred Book with him; HE, EGGMAN, WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE.
Eggman smiled from his thoughts as he tightened another bolt on a machine. His stomach growled and he looked at his watch.
"13:00 hours..."
"Lunch time"
"Again"
And with that he ran out of his machinery room towards the nearest cafeteria.
The Gold Kitsune worked diligently under his crashed and burned masterpiece, taking apart systems and repairing them, while Twilight stood beside him and checking things off of a checklist.
"Quantum powered Battery..," Tails said as he pulled out a head sized battery and laying it down on the ground in an extremely organized pile.
"Check!", Said the purple eyed, pseudo assistant cheerily.
Tails unbolted a few more bolts and heaved as he pulled out a massive plasmatic blaster that was about the size of his body in height out of the damaged Tornado. His muscles bulked and flexed as he carried it to a pile without a sweat, which Twilight of course saw and fluttered her eyelashes in attraction at, her mind going wild, her eyelids narrowing in awe.
"B00M Gun-Type Plasmatic cannon..." He said as he set the big gun down not yet noticing her entrancement.
"..."
"Twilight?" He wiped his brow and looked to her where she was grasping her clip board hard and blushing madly; face casted down. She eventually raised her gaze up to Tails, her gaze, full of-.
"You alright?"
"Oh um, *hehe* yes" she smiles ditzy and continues her checklist. Tails shrugged and return to remove the last component of ship.
"And now the *huff* the *Ughhh* the... Quadruple high performance, Quaker engine..." He unbolts the massive engine out of the hull of the and with the help of Twilight; set it on the ground beside the other parts.
"Nnnnnnnd check!" She announces happily her horns' magical aura ebbing away, which caught Tails' calculating, baby blue eyes.
"Is there a specific weight limit you can carry with your magic?" Tails inquired curiously. "It seems to break all laws of physics..."
Twilight looked at him in awe, she sat down her clipboard and smoothed out her cute sun dress down and gathered her thoughts together.
"Well it may seem that way, but unicorn magic is an energy force, sustained from our bodies; if we use more magic than our body energy can supply our magic runs out and we'll be out of energy." She pauses as Tails soaked all this in.
"But surely your own energy isn't being all shared with magic? That'll seem like magic will drain you too much." Tails said.
"Glad you pointed that out Tails" she said with a smile, "our horns act as a channel and capacitor for our magic, the longer your horn is, the more it amplifies your magic." Twilight explained, pointing out her horn. "Also, it follows the laws of physics. My body energy output, multiplied by my horn amplification, produces the force needed to move an object into motion." She ended with pep. She smiled at the golden Kitsune as he looked at her with heighten sense of interest.
"So I'm guessing your neck is the fulcrum for you to lift objects?" He inquired, now fully interested in the unicorn's magical ability. In fact they was so into their conversation of "egghead" talk; as rainbow dash would of put it; they didn't notice that it was almost noon; the sun beating down on their fur, making them sweat.
"Precisely... Oh my, it's getting really hot... Want to go inside?" She suggested, blushing, and looking up at him cautiously.
"Sure, I could really go for a lemonade right now-"
"SPIKE! ONE LEMONADE PLEASE!" She yelled towards her library-house, which instantly caught the ears of her assistant which Tails concurred was Spike; obviously.
After yelling out her command she beamed at Tails who still looked at her with pupils dilated and filled to the brim with shock.
*squee*
She started walking to the house whilst Spike prepared the drinks for Tails and herself.
(Ummm, this little segment is a bit unorthodox, I got bored and decided to toss this in)
(For the shit and giggles)
Warm, silky water ran down the back and breasts of the beautiful body of Luna as she stood in her Royal Showers, deep in thought. An odd feeling has been washing over the Princess of the Night since this morning; strange energy patterns, a sudden abundance of Electrical energy spiked this morning, around 8 am to be exact. Something didn't feel right and she had slight trepidation for what may lay ahead.
Luna turned off the water via magic and looked down her body with a satisfied smile, admiring her model figure; smirking. "Tia doesn't have anything on this." She said as she conjured up a magical mirror and posing in different positions. "I have the perfect body, yet no one to share it with..."
"You can always share it with- MEEEEEEEEE; your big sister!" Luna winced as Celestia glomped her little sister, naked and all. Luna blushed profusely and tried to shake her sister off of her. Tia's more endowed breasts pushing up against the side of Luna's head made her shudder in chagrin; she hated her sister's teasing so much. One day she's pranking you by making her dress billow up at a ball, another day she's making you do Princess Twilight's and Cadence's childhood greeting in front of the Royal guards, and now she's pressing her naked body against hers. Oh what a world.
"How'd you even get in here?!"
A question that never got an answer as Celestia continued to playfully cuddle her sister.
How could this day get any worse?
(SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHH)
Sonic held a little bag of ice over his left cheek as he hunched over sitting on the side of her bed. Rainbow Dash sat adjacent to him, embarrassed that she'd clocked him hard in the face; she wanted to say sorry but... You know, pride.
The sun's rays danced through the sun roof; refracted gracefully by the petite, stray clouds that floated aimlessly around the room, producing such celestial scenery.
The warm rays poured and splashed about on Sonic's face. At this he smiled and leaned back contently, soaking in the little slice of heaven. His emerald green eyes sparkling with delight. "You're lucky; you get your own bite of paradise right in your very room." He paused, batting away a lone cloud that drew wandered in front of his muzzle, "I'm usually on the lookout for Eggman, maintaining the peace around Mobotropolis with my friends, and beating up the bad guys buns; not a lot of time to just kick back and relax, until just before I arrived here."
Sonic leaned back on Rainbow Dash's bed, propping on leg up on the other while staring up at the ceiling. Rainbow Dash listened in an interested silence and leaned back on her bed with him. "Back on Mobius, when there was a strange hiatus in Eggman's convoluted scheming, I used to relax and sleep in the trees and rooftops of my home, watching the day go by, watching the clouds drift by. I may be the fastest thing alive; which is true," he said cockily as he peeked over at her playfully, "a wise man once told me it's good to just slow down and relax."
"Hehe, I usually nap on them- the clouds I mean..." Dashie said sheepishly. "And whoever told you that, you being the fastest thing alive told you a fat lie!" Rainbow dash said challengingly," I'll leave you in the dust in 10 seconds flat!"
"Oh you wanna put a bet on it?"
"Yeah! Let's go right now!"
With all weariness forgotten the Pegasus jumped up from the bed ready to take flight. Warm feelings flooded the athlete's heart with vigor as she made conversation with her very own blue adversary. She'd rather not admit it but from what she can tell they; the two, have a lot in common. She looked at him smiling, as he approached the balcony preparing to leap down an ear splitting ripping sound emanated out of the air around them.
The sky itself ripped open with a delirious ripping sound, colors of vivid lavenders and violets screamed verbosely in the eyes of whomever that glared at it in shock. An earsplitting scream ricocheted into the unready ears as a thunderous roar resonated around the frightened Town; a growl so voluminous in fact that it shook the very ground and unsettled the very foundations of the buildings.
"What the hay was that!" Twilight Sparkle screamed out, her lemonade being dropped from her abruptly getting up. The three including Spike ran to a window and stared up at the sky; opening up as if it was tearing, the heavens opened up, screaming in agony as an alien force disrupted the balance of space and time.
The trio quickly ran outside of the treehouse to further inspect the anomaly. Screams of terror split into the air, cries of doom echoed off the buildings as a massive ship started to peek out of the tear; red and black, embellishing the mark of the beast: Eggman's mustachioed face.
The massive mechanical beast moved at a creep outwards from the portal, groaning as it began to stop its advance. A large TV screen then extracted out of the hull of the massive ship. The video feed fuzzed for a few seconds before a back of a big, round man came up, hunched into a refrigerator.
"Huh..." Spike looked on in confusion.
"…" Tails deadpanned as he realized who fat back that was is.
The round man peeked back for a split second, double-took, and put the massive hoagie out of his mouth leaving crumbs in his beard.
Eggman clears his throat, and then spoke. "BWAHAHAHAHA! Sonic the hedgehog, PREPARE TO MEET YOUR DOOM!"
"He was totally ready for this speech?" Spike said sarcastically.
"Yo! Eggman, you can't be serious." Tails said.
"OHOHOHO! You just don't know how serious I am." And as if on cue the massive ship started to shoot down pods of robots upon pods of robots.
"Oh... I am very serious" Eggman repeated while taking a monstrous bite out of his large sandwich.
