"What do you mean we're going to the beach?" I asked Haruhi. "Just because I'm a customer doesn't mean that I'll go."

"Please." Haruhi pleaded. I shook my head. I wasn't to go to some beach wearing a bikini in front of all the hosts. They'd never let me live it down. Two orange headed figures walked towards us.

"But Hitomi, it'll be fun." Hikaru and Kaoru mocked in unison. Kaoru held out a skimpy, black bikini.

"Wouldn't you like to wear this one, Hitomi?" He asked smirking. The two looked over at Kyoya. "We know Kyoya would enjoy it."

"W-what?" I slapped them both on the head hard. "Don't joke about something so vulgar!"

Haruhi hid a laugh. Kyoya looked at me for a moment, looked me up and down, and then went back to his work. II could hardly handle a few hours with the hosts, never mind a weekend with them.

"Tomi-chan, you should come." Hani chimed from behind.

"I'm not going to the beach! Also, Hikaru, Kaoru, even if I did I wouldn't wear that bikini!" I yelled at them.

"Oh, you're quite right Hitomi. Black would be a bad color on you. You need a bright colour match your eyes and hair." Tamaki joined. I put my note book in my bag and stood up.

"I'm going home." I said. I wasn't going to deal with this subject with a group of boys. I walked out the door.

As soon as I got home Misaki stopped me. "Hitomi, I have your bag packed for your weekend at the beach."

"I'm not going." I replied nonchalantly.

"Oh, yes you are. Have fun for once. Be a normal teenager for once instead of one that only worries about school and work." She said.

"I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I'm not a normal teenager." I retorted. Misaki looked at me pleadingly. "Fine! I'll go."

I walked alone down the beach shores. My black hair was tied back into a pony tail. I hated Misaki for packing such a skimpy bikini. It was white with a string that you tied around your neck. I was happy that I hadn't run into any of the hosts because I knew for sure that they' d give me a hard time about it. Hikaru and Kaoru had already pointed out in the host club that for a girl so short and skinny I had a big bust.

Finally, when I found a desolate spot on the beach, I set down my towel and sat down. I took out my notebook and started sketching the waves, the sun's reflection on the water, even the birds in the distance. I set the notebook down and hugged my knees. Being isolated from everyone else and just watching the ocean was one of the most comforting feelings to me. I heard footsteps behind me.

Three men staggered towards me. I stood up. The tallest of the three reached his hand out, barely touching my shoulder.

"What's a young girl like yourself doing out here all alone?" He asked, his breath smelling of alcohol. I stepped back. "Come on, how about we show you a good time."

He reached again, this time going for my bathing suit. I kneed him in the place where no man wants to be kneed. He fell onto his knees. The other two ran away. I ran over to my bag and took out my cell phone. I dialed Haruhi's number. After a few rings someone finally answered. It was Kyoya.

"Kyoya, there are three trespassers here. Can you please come and get them?" I asked. As calm as I wanted to be, I wasn't. Even I could hear how worried I was in my voice. I told him my location and he said he'd be here in a few minutes. The man tries getting up, grabbing my leg for support. I kicked him.

After a few minutes Kyoya was there. He forced the man and his friends to leave. Eventually they did. He looked at me for a moment.

"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." But truthfully they had scared me. Strangers alone made me feel nervous. I could hear in my voice that I was scared. Kyoya put both hands on my shoulder.

"Tell me the truth." He said staring straight into the eyes.

"I am. Now will you please take your hands off my shoulders? I just thought you should know that there were trespassers here. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to head back to the resort and go to my room." I pushed his arm off and got my bag. I looked at him one last time before heading back.

I wasn't very hungry that evening. I walked out of my room, wearing a black short sleeved dress that Misaki had packed. After a while of wondering around trying to find someone I knew I stumbled upon an open door. Inside sat a man with black hair and a white shirt unbuttoned. I bowed.

"Excuse me sir, but can you tell me where everyone else is staying?" I asked quietly. The man looked up.

"Hitomi?" The voice sounded like Kyoya's. He put on his glasses and sure enough it was. I can't believe I didn't notice him.

"S-sorry, Kyoya." I said reluctantly. He smirked.

"I thought you were going to stay in your room the whole night." He countered.

"I got bored of just sitting in there." I said. He looked at me.

"Bored." He repeated. He stood up and walked over to me. "You know, I get bored too."

He pulled me closer to the bed, putting his hands on my waist. He picked me up, setting my head down gently on the pillow. He got on top of me. His hands were on either side of my head and he left only a little space between our bodies. I chuckled.

"You're not going to do anything." I said. He looked surprised. "You have nothing to gain from it."

"Nothing to gain?" He looked down at me. Finally he pressed his lips against mine. At first it was a gentle kiss, but as the kiss got longer it got more passionate. My eyes widened as his closed. He put his hands on my shoulders. He pulled away. I stared at him. He tucked a strand of my hair behind my hair. The sound of thunder was growing louder as each second passed. I covered my ears.

"Hitomi?" He sat down on the opposite side of the bed, leaving me with enough room to press my knees against my chest.

"I'm fine; I just don't like loud noises." I said, closing my eyes. Fireworks, thunder, even loud yelling made me cover my ears. I opened my eyes again. This time Kyoya was right by my side. He pushed me closer to him and wrapped one arm around my waist. My head rested on his shoulder. Eventually the sound died down. As it did, I closed my eyes. I fell asleep on Kyoya's shoulder.

At school I pulled Kyoya to an empty hallway before class.

"Don't tell anyone what happened at the resort." I told him.

"This could be something I could hold against you." He replied.

"What?"

"I'd hurry and get to class. We wouldn't want to be late now would we?" He said before turning away to go to class. I stood there dazed until I saw that few students rush by me. I ran to class.
