Chapter Five.

Andera POV

Before I knew it, Thanksgiving Day was here. That meant Aunt Brianna, Mom's sister, would be coming. I had to admit, she was pretty awesome. I felt like she was the only person that really got me. She could always relate to all of my problems, she took my side in all the arguments, she's more like a cool older sister than an aunt.

I was the first one at the door when the doorbell rang. I didn't check out the window first, I knew it was her, it had to be.

''Aunt Bree !'' I screamed giving her a huge bear hug.

''Hey Andera! How's my fav Middle School girl?''Aunt Bree returned the hug.

''Great.''I answered. I knew it was a total lie, but it was Aunt Bree, you couldn't help but be happy around her.

''Aunt Bree! Aunt Bree!''Gus and Hailey ran down stairs, pushed past me and hugged Aunt Bree. Looks like I'd be handling them alone. Aunt Chloe and Aunt Zoey and thier husbands and kids only come for Christmas. At least I cold talk to Aunt Bree if I needed to.

Thanksgiving dinner was the same as always. We ate turkey, mashed patatoes, biscuts, and everything else. I don't look foreward to the meal, not even the pumpkin pie. What I look foreward to the most is watching the dog show with Dad after. It's the only time at home when I can have Dad completly to myself. No Mom, Gus or even Hailey.

Just as we were setting down, Hailey ran in and sat down beside Dad. Gus was in the backyard

Every time there was a breed she had to interupt and ask 'What breed is that?''

Finally after the fifth of sixth time I had had enough.

I stood up and schreeched,''HAILEY WILL YOU SHUT UP FOR MORE THAN FIVE SECONDS!'' Without saying anything more I ran up to my room.

''Andera. Come back down.''Dad called.

''NO! THANKSGIVING IS RUINED! MY WHOLE LIFE IS RUINED ALL BECAUSE OF HAILEY! GOD, WHY COULDN'T I HAD BEEN AN ONLY CHILD!''
