Harry POV
The six people we met on the train were really wired. They claim to be half-bloods, but there is something else about them, they seem very powerful. Maybe everyone is like that in America. Speaking if which, since when does Hogwarts accepts exchange students? I never heard of that happening before. Even Hermione admits it. But it was funny watching her being mad at Ron for saying something along the lines of "Hermione doesn't know something? It's the end of the world!" She almost cursed him; well she looked like she wanted to anyway.
After the 1st year's sorting, Dumbledore gave a small speech. "Welcome students to another wonderful year at Hogwarts. This year we decided to do something new, we will be welcoming exchange students. "A wave of whispers spread through the hall as Dumbledore requested silence again "Unlike last year when we welcomed the Beauxbâtons Academy and Durmstrang Institute, these students will be sorted and attend the classes as 5th years. Please make them feel welcome to this new school. "The doors opened and the six students we met on the train came in with what appeared to be their teacher in front. "Wow those girls are really gorgeous; I hope I'll have a shot with them. " said Seamus. I could notice a lot of people stretching their necks to get a better look at them. They arrived in front of the teacher's table and turned to face the students in a line. They almost looked as if they were in the army by the way they were standing, except the two twins. Somehow they remind me of Fred and George, hopefully I'm wrong since I'm sure the school wouldn't survive two pairs of pranking twins.
"Thank you Professor Dumbledore for these words of introduction. I am Professor Sophia Hoyte and will be these students' chaperon during their stay here. Now for the introductions, from left to right it's; Nico DiAngelo, Perseus Jackson who prefers the name of Percy, Annabeth Chase, Thalia, and finally Travis and Connor Stoll. Before anyone ask, they are not twins. Connor is a year younger but he will still be in 5th year." She said "Since classes are a bit different in America, we would be grateful if you could help them when they are in need. I will now leave the floor to Professor McGonagall for the sorting."
Professor McGonagall came forward and Annabeth was the first one to go. The hat barely touched her head when it screamed "RAVENCLAW". Nico went after and got sorted in Slytherin while Thalia joined us in Gryffindore. The hat screamed "HUFFLEPUFF" for Percy after 2 minutes but he seemed disappointed not to be with his friends. The Stolls both got sorted in Gryffindore. When I looked at Thalia she looked like she was going to bang her head on the table. The Weasley twins though, looked like they found their prank partners and that definitely can't end well. The Stolls sat on each side of Thalia and started to talk to each other. I have no idea what they were saying but by the sound of it, The Stolls were teasing her and she was about to throw a punch.
After Dumbledore's usually start of the term speech we finally got to eat. I noticed the exchange students were a bit hesitant, but after their teacher talked to each of them quietly, they finally started to eat. After we went to the dorms, there were two beds added to our room for the Stolls, I went to bed and lied down thinking about what Hermione said before she went to the girls' dormitories "Be careful Harry, there is something strange about the new students and something about them makes me really uncomfortable. As if they are part of something bigger, even bigger than the battles against You-Know-Who..."
A/N: Ok so I am planning on continuing this story for I really don't know how long, I'm actually running low on inspiration for Half-Blood Mix Up. Also I got a new story idea but for a completely different fandom: CardCaptor Sakura. I don't know if I will be posting it anytime soon since it is still in the development stage and the title is A New World. I actually have 1 1/2 page written for it... I will give more info later on if you are interested, in the meantime please enjoy this Fanfiction and please review!
